@@Pandae8 extreme is not overrated. It is highly regarded and it deserves it. This and extreme are very good games but you can't deny having modifiers and QoL in extreme makes it even more fun. I started playing since 2nd mix but even then the slow charts are a pain to read.
4th Mix plus was such an underrated gem. Back then in the arcade I usually visited they bought this machine and I was so happy playing it. Not many arcade had this version.

This was the first DDR game I played in arcades. This is where I got a taste for this franchise.
The Golden Era of DDR began with this arcade version. As a 90s kid I was so glad I got into DDR around this time but man, it went by so damn quickly.
As someone whose first DDR game was Extreme/ Supernova I say this is a solid mix! Wish I had an opportunity to play it
