- An upgrade to DDR 4th Mix, this time with an All Music option, giving more freedom in selecting songs.
This mix boasts (roughly) 80 Dancemania licenses so fans of DM will like this mix. Some songs received new maniac charts, with their old charts being edit steps, which carried over to 5th Mix. Kinda disorganized IMO and it wasn't until DDR EXTREME where they added challenge difficulty when these charts are properly organized. DDR 1st and 2nd mix songs received Double Maniac charts here (or in 4th mix, rather).
Yellow songs - DDR 4th Mix Plus
Green songs - DDR 4th Mix
Blue songs - DDR 1st-3rd Mix
To anyone who played DDR in the arcades, respect. Good times man.
Back in the day I had a friend who did it competitively. Entered tournaments and stuff. It was pretty crazy watching him train.
i kinda lucky have played the last ddr 4th mix machine in my country even tho it was 10 years ago before it got removed forever

This is when DDR was heading to its golden era . DDR 5th Mix to Extreme . Beyond that it became a whole different game altogether,
For some is extreme, For me this is the best ddr ever made💪
As someone whose first DDR game was Extreme/ Supernova I say this is a solid mix! Wish I had an opportunity to play it
4th Mix PLUS is still the best DDR game ever made!!!!!

@@ed3nx913 extreme is not overrated. It is highly regarded and it deserves it. This and extreme are very good games but you can't deny having modifiers and QoL in extreme makes it even more fun. I started playing since 2nd mix but even then the slow charts are a pain to read.
DDR 4th mix was the DDR EXTREME of its time
4th Mix plus was such an underrated gem. Back then in the arcade I usually visited they bought this machine and I was so happy playing it. Not many arcade had this version.
This guy really recovered my childhood
Good times. Probably when I enjoyed arcades the most. DDR was painfully hard to find in my country, but still I didnt mind spent 2 hours communting to reach one of the very few location to enjoy it. It was worthy every penny spent. 4th Mix was the machine I played the most.

This is giving me flashbacks to konamix. Too bad konamix lacked so many of these awesome tracks.
4thMix Plus is what I thought Konamix would be. Every single song from 1st to 4th Plus + it also had those hard as hell challenge charts from Konami.

I really love this mix. Reminds me of pre-pandemic times visiting in Dodolon Arcade in Dasmariñas, Cavite (in the Philippines). After the pandemic, the DDR 4thMIX PLUS in Dodolon Arcade is no more. Pandemic really kills everything, including our one and only DDR 4thMIX PLUS. 😢😢😢
Impressive it stayed that long before the pandemic. Ever since DDR A appeared since 2017, nearly every other mix either became Stepmania Converted or pulled out, including the numerous DDR SuperNOVA2 machines I see in lots of malls.
DDR already introduced K-POP before it was a thing.

You set the machine to Event Mode. The home version may allow you to turn the menu timer off or enable Event Mode as well.

The US console versions were garbage 🗑️. I owned a Japanese PS1 and played their version. The play list was so much better!
