Have had this machine in my house since I was around ten. Was broken for years until I found someone who could repair it, and it still kicks just as much ass as I remember.

DDRE is in my opinion the best DDR from that era. Thanks to this machine I've been able to become a much better player, able to do low high / mid level heavy songs. Also life's been challenging for me these past few years :/ but thank you for asking! It's cool someone saw this comment I made so long ago :D
Awesome! I always wanted that kind of experience during my youth, but alas, the nearest arcade that has DDR in my home requires commute; I can't walk from home to get there.
Brought back so many awesome memories of my teen years going to the Playland USA local arcade every Friday/Saturday night and playing for hours. It no longer exists but a new arcade was built at the mall 2 years ago and I just went this weekend and found DDR extreme there and played 3 rounds. Definitely out of shape compared to teenage me but I remembered all the steps and continued to get all A’s! 💖💖
What I wouldn't give for this damn virus to be properly taken care of so I could play this masterpiece of a DDR game in the arcades again. I live an hour away from a Video Game Store and they have a mini arcade there. Last time I went there was for one sole reason: ...to play Vanity Angel on DDR Extreme. to this point I have somewhere a 26hour playlist of mp3 files with music from this game. I hear these few secends of every song and most of them I have heared on the arcade with a few of the DDR machines that wore in the rotation
I find it hard to believe that some of the Challenge remixed songs by Naoki from DDRMAX2 are actually Dancemania licensed songs and not Konami Originals. I'm pretty sure that all Naoki songs before MAX2 were always Konami Originals.
Those Dancemania challenge songs have a chance of being present in Random Dancemania. If one of the difficulties is Challenge, then it's a high chance it's one of them. I enountered Still in my Heart (Momo mix) in Stage 3.

This is the arcade port of DDR Extreme. He likely has the original arcade board. It was ported to the PS2, but some of these songs are not on there.
