All the nuclear waste in the world would fit on one football field. So there is not much waste at all and future tech such as Thorium can further reduce that waste to almost nothing.

What about Thorium reactors (feasibility, cost, safety, environment, waste) for Australia? Apparently Australia has an abundant supply of Thorium.

Thorium is a promising tech that is still many decades away but I agree, it is promising and research should continue to be encouraged. There's quite a good page about thorium on the parliament house website. The wikipedia page has been gotten at but it's still worth a look.
Then of course there is fusion technology that research must continue if only to glean all the spin-off tech that has come from the research. Look at the European fusion project "ITER".
Meanwhile we have very safe and very effective and economical nuclear fission to take advantage of.
      Cheers

To add to your comment, I posted this above. "All the nuclear waste in the world would fit on one football field. So there is not much waste at all and future tech such as Thorium can further reduce that waste to almost nothing."

They don't exist yet, that's what. PWR/BWR/Candu exist.

Always enjoyable to hear Rousseaunians changing their mind.
Only thing heard so far that don’t agree with is that always 2 sides. Sometimes there isn’t.
Rockafella intervention similar story to Randolph Hurst and hemp, demonising a particularly versatile material.

If the climate is so bad and getting worse how is it that our farm yields are increasing year on year and I'm not alone, yields across the world are improving as farming practices and inputs improve.

Because better fertiliser. Water sources. Funding. Genetically modified crops.

Also, parts of the Sahara desert are growing plants again and the world's biomass of plants has increased due to the increase of plant food (CO2).
