So kind and generous of you to award Gecko and give him the business in a box, that’s the human equation right there!! I watch two things for therapy, The Andy Griffith Show and SCC videos!! 3 dislikes= 3 people who cant follow directions OR just simply have two left hands! I just did the black granite peoject and this media/material is super forgiving. Ill have pictures when backsplash is up and slate flooring is installed. The reason I went with stone coat instead of Leggari is because of Mike, his humblness, willing to teach and enthusiasm! Now since i used his product which final coat is curing. I can vouch!

    and this is the best and fastest way I can think of to bring our countertops into the future. I will take plenty of photos and if I can I will do a Video to.

    I've watched your vids before and love the whole idea. I just saw your ad and got reminded. After Christmas I am now doing my mom's kitchen. She mentioned the countertops sucking months ago but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until I saw your ad today. This is perfect. The only issue is keeping her cat away for 2 days or more. He likes to walk around at night. But i'll spend 50 bucks to keep him off if I have to, no prob.
    Also if this works, then i see a nice side business. I'm artistic and this is going to be so much fun. I really want to make a table with the center line. That is the coup de grace!

    WOW great video!! Yeah, so i've heard a lot of contractors say they build all countertops with MDF in a shop and install them after they cure. I can see the benefit to that in some applications, but one of the main reasons I was drawn to start doing this is the ability to pour right over customers existing countertops

    • @StoneCoatCountertops
      @StoneCoatCountertops  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Drewskidelmar, yes it really just depends upon the situation, in some cases it is easier to create something brand new, in this situation it was much more time and cost effective to go over the existing concrete.
      What situations would you like to see us tackle in the future?

    • @Drewskidelmar

      Stone Coat Countertops I would love to see how to properly fabricate countertops for outdoor kitchens! I did a pour over some outdoor concrete tops , and that was a nightmare here in Florida! After its cured is it scratch resistance? And what about if I put a hot coffee cup does it leave a mark? And what about any drop of chemical will it ruin what I did? Or do you varnish or seal it to protect it?

    If you ever decide to do a job in TN let me know, my kitchen would be a real challenge, it's 10 years old tile with back splash in tile.

      @@StoneCoatCountertops I just bought most of the product items from Amazon and through rk3 except the epoxy. I bought the top coat too. How much do I need for 200 to 250 sq/ft floor? 2 or 3 gallons?

    how long will it take to dry an epoxy? am quite confused because, some videos i watched is that it takes like 24hours to dry an epoxy, and there is the UV epoxy which dries quickly using a UV light
