A lot of time when people get older and retired, they struggle to make new friends and stay social while losing friends along the way because that's the nature of life. I like to think that being around the guys is doing a lot of good for Sam.
Cleet, just double checking, the crank and cam signal are isolated from the chassis ground yeah? The Holley has a dedicated clean GND "output" pin for those sensors (Pin A14 I believe). Crank and cam signal ground should *NOT* be connected to chassis GND whatsoever. Also double check nothing else uses pin A14 other than crank and cam. Other sensors should use pin A18 and pins A14 and A18 should *not* be cross-connected to each other or chassis GND. The crank and cam signal should also have a *separate* shield in addition to the sensor GND. This shield *must only be connected at the ECU end*. It acts as an "antenna" for electrical noise and safely filters it to GND. Connecting it at the engine side (even to the sensor GND) completely negates its purpose. If this is in place and connected to A14 as the manual says, try connecting the shield to pin A18 or chassis ground (in that order), double checking it's not connected at the engine side or the signal GND at the engine side. Taken from the manual: "The crank and cam input wiring in both the main harness and adapter harnesses use a shielded/grounded cable. The shield is grounded at the ECU end. You do not ground both end of shielded/grounded cable. It is always recommended to use shield/grounded cable to protect the integrity of the crank or cam sensor input signals."
I was going to suggest shielded cable too, it looked like they just used single core. Also a while back a few people mentioned using a reluctor wheel with fewer teeth, which would keep the frequencies down. Good shout on the separate ground pin and only grounding one end too.

Ruby might need an ignition coil. Seen it before where under boost, ignition coil brakes up and sends high voltage back up the trigger wire and shorts out the ECU. It’s got nothing to do with the crank sensor. And that’s why it only does it under boost. I chased that problem for hours. Poor ignition coil ground could also act like that. @@davesracingchannel9261 gah damn😳 that was a hell of a run you earned my subscription with that one
The wheelies are fun to watch but George is really gonna be something else once he can really get that Blazer scooting like it needs to.
Glad to see y'all finally came up to Gainesville. That's been my home track for the last 20 years. I love it!
The blazer needs a built motor and a Procharger. That’s something I’ve wanted to see on this channel for quite sometime
It’s getting a built ls and a massive roots blower. They where trying to kill the 4.8!
Needs a durn wheelie bar
It's getting toast's old blower
She's getting the old blower from toast my guy
AdventureVenture the blazer is too much fun to have a wheelie bar
George is getting it. Agree though. Time for that thing to have a cage and possibly some wheelie bars. Love the content so keep it coming.
Saving the blazer from the wall, was a feat in its own right how fast ol'George reacted. Basically saved it when only one our of four tires were still on the ground!
