Lol funny because I got about 40 tattoos when I was df’d a couple times ago and when I got reinstated people looked at me like a leper. Of course, there's another irony in the youth segment, and it's the very text the young brother's father read in the first place during the family study: 1 Peter 3:3,4. That text was addressed, not to men, or even to women in general, but specifically to married women. The father took the passage completely out of context. Interestingly enough, the young brother made a similar error himself in his conclusion by stating that the lesson to be learned is found at Proverbs 31:30, which reads in its entirety: "Charm may be false and prettiness may be vain, but the woman that fears Jehovah is the one that procures praise for herself." One may be forgiven for coming to the conclusion that the Society is subconsciously trying to emasculate young witness men. But, it's also the attitude the Society wants all of Jehovah's witnesses to exhibit toward the Society itself as the self-professed "channel of communication" for Jehovah. This twofold approach, in full display in this "Broadcasting", underscores both the misogyny and the narcissism of the Society.
