This was so pleasant on a number of levels..contrary to some of the "projects" we have seen, Or Yehuda has a nice mix of low, medium, and highrise structures..more variety is always better...The high rises seem to have more space between them with more greenery...nice variety of plantings here and this whole neighborhood seems well cared for. A nice place to live..in my research the Babylonian Cultural Center is located here in Or Yehuda ..I would like to see it! I have heard of it of course..but I thought it was in neighboring Ramat Gan. A beautiful summer day with the breezes blowing the foliage! What a great day for a stroll...! (it does seem from our many walks that "McDonald's " has invaded and conquered Israel! What happened to "McDavid's"!?)

You are absolutly right. I live not far from this town. It have few restaurants but there are no much cafes or street with cafes & restaurants.
@@odedshashua2763 looking from the outside is seems to me, with the exception of 'old' Tel Aviv, all Israeli towns are making the same mistakes as American urban planners - urban sprawls. No town centres, not amenities (cafes, cinemas, theatres, shops) in easy walking distance; everything dependent on cars. Apart from being bad planning, Israel doesn't have the space to follow the urban sprawl mistakes of the USA. Once Arab towns and villages in Israel or the West Bank have investment and security, they will be far nicer, more vibrant and attractive places to live and they take up less land and so allow more land for agriculture, leisure and nature. Why didn't the Israelis just follow the success of Dizengoff and the pioneers of Tel Aviv when they built their new towns?
@@SionTJobbins Well it is not true for all towns outside Tel Aviv but for Or Yehuda and some other towns it's true as they are sleeping towns. Don't forget that Israel cities were built first as east European style and then with the years converted to Ametican style. However most cities arround Tel Aviv have streets with restaurants, coffee etc. Yes i know what you mean American cities have no center. I been many times in USA and noticed that. Israel as you say have no much land so now many of the building is high when US cities suburbs still spread over large areas.
Its really just a part of tel aviv metro area just israel have alot of small towns connected together instead of 1 big city which is a shame

מצער מאד שכל הערים שלנו נראות אותו הדבר ..אותם בנינים אותם חברות בנייה אותם מרצפות ברחוב .הכל שבלוני .חבל מאד ☹️
אין השקעות בפארקים ירוקים במקום זה שמים עוד מרצפות ועוד מרצפות .
עיר ללא רחובות ישרים עמוסי בתי קפה וחנויות ☹️
גם התלונות אותו דבר

@@ארזפרץ-ב3י דווקא מהקריות ומבין את התלונה אפילו מצטרף אליה אבל גם רואה שיפור בתכנון ומבין את הצורך בצמצום עליות הבנייה ברמת מחירים מטורפת כזאת. אם אתה אדריכל תתכנן משהו יותר טוב .
@@kozoloko התכוונתי שהכל שבלוני אותם חברות בניה בכל הארץ לא משנה לאיזה עיר תגיע תראה את אותו סגנון בניה אחד לאחד זה קרטל של חברות .. לא בהכרח שזה מוזיל עלויות ...לקבלן לא עולה הרבה הבניה , יש מחסור בקרקעות וחזירות כספית מצד גורמי ממשלה
ולגבי הסגנון בניה מסכים איתך שיש שיפור ניכר בתכנון בטיילת בעצים סביבה ונוף
