I know that I am a bit late to reviewing the Proline Hyrax 1.0 tires, but I took a different approach, and focused more as a test comparison between three set of tires. The results were quite interesting, so go checkout my test and review!

Great review ,considering the Proline were straight out of the box and probably still had moulding agents on them from manufacture( do they wash them before packaging?) ,they did really well , the contact face of the Proline also seems to be slightly more domed than the competitor tyres ,thanks for taking time to do this fellow 🖖
Thanks. Hyrax were run stock, and hasn't had time to break in yet. But they were pretty amazing. The plastic beadlock wheels looks good, but for my type of crawling, it's going to need just a tad bit more weight on the wheels...and I have plans on those.
I just bought these wheels/tires a couple of hours ago. Will try them out on our new Crawler track...will run them on my Axial Deadbolt.

For my money, I don't think there is a better tire out there right now than the Hyrax. I do think they do better on different wheels though.

Do you know if the hyrax will fit on RC4WD stamped steel wheels?
I am not sure since I no longer have rc4wd stamped steel wheels, but I don’t see why not.
They will fit.. I have hyrax mounted on the stamped steel wheels

Great first look and comparo of the Proline tires/wheels! Do you think the grip of the Hyrax will wane over time, as more mileage is put on them? Do the accompanying wheels make the width more narrow?

Actually as they break in, the grip will get better. The wheels are standard size. The MT Hobbies 3d printed wheels are a bit wider and works really well with Rock Creeper, so I plan to keep using them with it. But for Hyrax, I have other wheels in mind for it.
