Use stronger BBs, clean your weapon and mags and don’t over fil your mags. I’ve had my LM4 for 2 years and picked up another one this year. I love mine becuase I can treat it like my real M4 I use in the army. AEGs suck because they break easily than this particular GBB. The only gripe I have is the power stroking of the rifle. I have to mod the chargin handle.
Thanks for the tips! I actually did clean the GBBR a few times just to make sure it wasn’t the dirt and grime jamming things up. Also, I tried filling the mags with 2-3 second fills and my results were the same. I really enjoyed the build quality of the KWA and it definitely beats any other AEG in terms of feedback.
I bought one about 2 years ago, LM4 RIS, mine powerstroke out of the box, i had the same issues as you, lubed everything, cleaned, checked the feedlips, turned out to be the .20 bbs, using now .25 and it's working like a unit, cycle all my 6 mags
These are all issues related to temperature and user error. You cant expect it to work with cracked feed lips. Its a $6 part. Take care of your rifle and it will work. This video is not a good representation of the lm4.
Problem 4 - that is from original WA system , my G&P WOCs have the same behaviour and Golden Eagle. This was done so that valve can close earlier that bolt comes fully back saving gas.
hi man late here but what does the guy mean in the vid by saying he can't power stroke it? does it come without the powerstroking feature or is it just a malfunction in HIS gun that causes the powerstroke to not work, cause im thinking of getting this gun
Don't worry, it's a pain in the A to adjust the hopup even with the tool. I don't own the LM4, but both their USP and Mac11 needs a similar tool (not the same though, isn't that nice from them!) and it's very inconvenient to do it, it's hard to line up the teeth through the small ejection port, it's just a terrible system. But in fact the thing with the teeth is just a rotary dial, if you remove your bolt carrier you should be able to rotate it with anything that fits in there, maybe even your finger.
Good tip! I didn't want to mess with any of the hop-up settings because the LM4 was feeding so badly. I'll keep that in mind if I end up reviewing some other KWA GBBs.
Ahh this is related to cold and the type of gas you are using. I never use this in cold weather for this reason, you can. It just wont give you the performance and many GBBRs have this issue in cold weather.
I've had mine over a year it has ther new hop system. Never had a problem with it. I've had a few other brands that I've had nothing but issues with. Broken parts or just poor performance my lm4 is a tank
I am pretty sure from alll lm4 that i see, mag lips is not easily crack as ghk mag (from bb loader it can crack). Samoon email me and i am sure some ghk owners getthis email. Chewing bb also never happened, i dont know what bb you are using, i heared bio bb is easily break, but if you use madbul, it is not. Stagnag mag is below 500g. Stop bolt can be mod to powerstroke. Problem with kwa platform is hop up rubber. It is too soft, too thin. It can take max 0.3 but will not reach pass 40m.
Good to know!. Yes, I was using bio BBs in this GBBR that's probably why it was chewing up the BBs. Oddly enough, I've never had a problem with bio BBs in any other GBBR except for this LM4. That's so interesting that the stanags are significantly lighter than the PMAGs, PMAGs being polymer and all. I suppose it's just a shell that goes over the gas reservoir, but I haven't opened the mag up enough/had the GBBR long enough to inspect. That's good that there is a mod to powerstroke, do you have instructions on how to do the powerstroke mod? That's unfortunate that the main issue with the platform is the hop-up rubber because initially I was very impressed by the accuracy OOTB at short ranges.
If i am not mistaken after 2016 lm4 has change to be able powerstroke. And rear pin no longer can be push by hand. But my friend was mod as milwaukeekid bolt stop mod.
@@ferdinandolatin2125 Oh okay, that's good that you're able to powerstroke the newer ones. That's unfortunate that you're not able to remove the rear receiver pin by hand.
I don't have that much experience with their other products but after having a bad experience as I had with the LM4 I would be hesitant to buy another one of their products. I know for the KWA Vector they are the only ones who make it in GBBR, but I'm concerned about the parts availability since it's a discontinued gun.
@@GBBEnthusiast I would not get one now TBH. I had two, I sold one for €850 with one mag. It was perfect in box etc. The other one is a keeper for life. A very interesting and important period for Airsoft history IMO, also the pinnacle of airsoft engineering. Most of the top KWA guys left after the Kriss/KWA fallout for one reason or another.
@@icolater27 Definitely, up there is one of the most unique airsoft GBBRs! 850 euros is definitely a nice price to be getting for one of those. Did you run into any issues with yours or did you just keep it for collection purposes?
@@GBBEnthusiast just kept it for collecting as with most of my GBBs. Only issues I have heard of is Nozzles breaking prematurely, I’m on discord for the vector and its get high praise and still has a large number of users.
@@GBBEnthusiast VT is crazy expensive, you can buy 4 LM4 with the price of a Vipertech. VFC is kinda difficult to get in the states due to issue with ATF, but VFC M4, especially the new BCM MCMR is an outstanding GBBR that can compete with TM MWS. TM MWS however is still the end all be all best performing M4 GBBR, only downside is lacking in the realism department and feels more like a toy gun than a real steel replica.
@@jiangx18 Thanks for your experience! I feel like the Vipertech is super expensive but it would still be nice to try it to see how much of a difference there would be in build quality. If the performance isn’t that good, that would be super disappointing since they’re more than double the cost of a TM or GHK. I was always skeptical about the VFC GBBRs since their earlier GBBRs seemed to have a lot of issues. I guess their later models fixed a lot of those issues. Maybe I should look to obtain the VFC for comparison purposes.

New gen lm4 + tnt hop up dropin are phenomenal weapon platforms
Good to know, thanks for the heads up!
What do you mean by the new gen LM4, are you talking LM4D? I heard about it but can't seem to find one anywhere, not even KWA website have it listed.

This!

Thanks for the information, I didn’t know that they also had the same loose hammer issue!
@@GBBEnthusiast its not an issue it was designed to be so , it reduces gas usage and cooldown in theory if the gun is well put together
@@ivanmonahhov2314 Sounds good, I just didn’t notice it in any other GBBRs.
Also allows the mag to be inserted while the rifle isnt cocked on older design wa clones, it relies on having valve lock on the mag for full blowback.
Worst review. You broke your mag lip and you are complaining as though its a rifle malfunction. Take care of your toys.
I have zero issues with my 10+ year old lm4. Yes there were some mods I did to prevent some of these issues.
