They would only try this to try and get the bride to wear what they want, as in old fashioned v more modern and with the sister's feedback I would say this is exactly what is going on.

As someone who is used to white American wedding dresses I'm blown away by every single dress on this show. It must be so cool to be from a culture where dresses that I'm amazed by are considered boring and traditional (according to comments). I'd love to see the more modern versions that people keep talking about. I don't understand why the off shoulder style is anti-conservative though. I mean, bellies are out in almost every dress...
Glad u liked Indian traditional dresses. Off shoulder and sleeveless tops are considered typically non conservative. Half sleeves are widely accepted in Hindu wedding. However many brides are embracing cold shoulder, off shoulder, sleeveless, sweetheart neckline deep cut tops now a days though 😊
Bellies are out in almost every Indian traditional dress, so showing bellies is not a problem
Wow people can be so harsh! I personally love this show and am so happy to find these videos on RUclips. I love Shia, she is so real and down to earth. Not every bridal consultant in the world has to be the same with the over the top fake personality! I think this show has really developed and elevated it's work since the beginning versions, and can't wait to meet more Nazranaa brides and beautiful designs!
Its highly scripted, the previous episodes were belivable. But the stock and designs and work is soooooo outdated and cheap
I think the dresses are far too cheap and outdated but all the brides seemed very happy so that's all that matters I guess. I dont understand why people would've a problem with Shia..she's always nice in all the videos. Not over the top at all or butter-y, just does her job and takes everyone's opinions and tries to be neutral to even conflicts.
These comments are savage. It's a delightful show and I like that the host isn't faking a sunshine attitude.
Haha! The doctor bride was me for my wedding. My parents and in-laws did all the shopping and I could not have been happier for it. The quality of what they purchased was exceptional and I really appreciate having those pieces now knowing I would not have known how to choose those on my own. They kept things classy and dignified for me. Priya doesn’t know yet how much she will appreciate this down the road.
BTW the first girl's dress top is silver embroidery and bottom skirt is gold embroidery IT DOESNT NOT MATCH AT ALL.

It's so annoying!! Seeing the dresses is the main reason to watch the show, and even the drama makes no sense if you can't see what they're talking about.
Like I haven't read one positive comment in any of the episodes. Truthfully I'm not and Indian nor do I have much knowledge about their dresses but the comments seem a bit overcriticizing. Shia is not that lifeless she is just a reserved type of seller. I prefer it to american sellers who are all in your face and over the top. This at least feels more natural not so televised dramatization. It's calmer. For the dresses, I really don't know if they are outdated, they look nice and not one that I've seen was ugly. Furthermore if all the people criticizing are unhappy about the dresses, shop assistants and other things, why are you watching the show? What is the poinz if you don't like anything?
Probably the competition trying to bring down the show? If that is the case it's sad, the community should be happy about the success of each order.

Maybe cuz the designs are not as good as in India? I personally like them but I feel they're way overpriced. Shopping at an Indian store is much more of a warmer experience than portrayed here. Not sure what kind of audience this show is targetting, but the majority of Indian customers cannot relate to this show. The designs, "lifeless" people, saleswoman etc are perhaps not as appealling.
Umm.. it's because these dresses don't represent India truly, because you'd fall in love if you were to see a real wedding look. 🥰
love this show! my only complaint is the color balance in editing, it makes these beautiful vibrant colors look so dull and washes out like every person that is on the show lol. Show more dresses in each consultant, and maybe when they order or have picked including a wedding photo of the final dress im dying to know what that two piece custom pink and maroon piece ended up looking like!

I think this store has Monopoly over the market when it comes to Indian wedding outfits. But they're way behind on the latest trends in India. They should mention designers' name

This show had so much potential - to be the south Asian version of SYTTD. Instead the store is lifeless, the outfits are boring and the consultants are so cold and lack any personality! And to top it off, every episode is so forced and scripted! It’s like they’re reading from a paper. So disappointed! How great would a South Asian version of SYTTD be?!

Aisha Conte it doesnt need to mimic Western but that comparison was made because if theyre making show for entertainment purposes it should at least be somewhat entertaining like similar shows out there

@@ameldamelanin2945 Pretty much all reality/entertainment shows involve people that haven't been on camera before...it is all about the direction given by directors/producers and how comfortable the individuals feel. In this case, it has just been made awkward and cold. And I didn't say it has to be an exact copy/mimicry of SYTTD - what I meant was similar in the levels of production, quality and entertainment value.

Why is the store so lifeless and dull? Where’s the lighting? They could’ve made it absolutely spectacular like other bridal stores. Also the bridal outfits are just so boring and old and repetitive - nothing modern or fresh or unique! They need to change up the stock.
You critics rehash the same criticisms every episode. I'm sure they're making continual improvements. How is any South Asian show supposed to take off when the target audience is so judgemental? Truly playing a losing game trying to satisfy desis
it’s better to have a dull store than a bright store as there is no natural lighting. stage lighting presents something which isn’t real!

The other versions put their heart and soul into it and this version is going downhill, not working on any kind of improvement in terms of presentation, stock or hosting. The criticism is natural.

Its important for the target audience to be completely honest and transparent to allow the creators to learn and make their shows better. This isn't a short video that was shot in someone's bedroom, rather it is a whole production that was aired on TV. If someone is meant for the public eye, to entertain the public, then the public has EVERY right to be critical and give a critical analysis. This show can 'take off' if it is of good quality and a high standard and if it entertains the masses, which it is falling short of at the minute.

You can literally hand drape and pin the dupatta to the blouse in that way over one shoulder . Shia you know that . It's the south Indian way of wearing a lehenga called langa voni .
Theres more detail to that blouse. Its got sheer sleeves and a draped off shoulder look on one side. Its a designer knock off. Original design was by gaurav gupta.

Totally, my budget (offered to pay by my dad was 1.5 lakh) and I found beautiful dress worth 22k (and my bestie got her in sale worth 17k) and my family was shocked. You need to explore and bargain (save your money, you are gonna wear it for just a single night)

The sister said exactly the things I was thinking. The blush colour looked terrible on her. Her rich warm undertone really suits jewel tones. Deep emerald greens, royal blue, or anything vibrant and jewel tone would look gorgeous on her.

That first bride’s final choice was hideous! The traditional, silver embroidery on the blouse did not at all match the modern, gold embroidery and style of the skirt. Very strange combo
She did t get the top so dw.. She got one costumed made.. To match the skirt but wanted a blush top so that's why she tried it too see what it look like..
4:36 this lehenga i wore on my wedding......in 2011......and it looked gorgeous...and i bought it from dubai....in only 3000 dirhams...the colour was same the design was same...

SYTTD has said that it takes 6-9 months, sometimes longer, to get in orders. Why is it so far-fetched that a custom order top would take two months?

The rude owner is too lazy to get a custom blouse made so she wants you to buy a top piece that has silver embroidery with a gold embroidery skirt (that doesnt even match) and be done with the sale.

I agree that these designs are very outdated and over priced compared to what you can get at very very less in Chandni Chowk. But come on guys, just think how much inventory she needs to have in her store in the first place which would definitely cost a ton. And she wouldn't definitely have as many customers flowing in as the Chandni Chowk stores do, which could've helped her to keep her stock moving, thus allowing her to bring in newer designs. So i guess the pricing and older designs are justified. 🤷♀️

This show really isnt doing any good for the store: rude owner, cant customize dresses on time, giving your opinion thats against bride's wishes (you should always be on the brides side as the owner), overpriced dresses, rushing the bride and hurrying to get her out the store. Besides having a plain white background when they talk why dont you display dresses and showcase more of your store and gowns. MY GOD stop adding a million filters in the end WE WANT TO SEE THE DRESSES. Stop filming in the dark washed out lighting. The first season was so vibrant and colorful. Also, please get ppl who can act these are terrible actors.
These people just want to be on camera, the sister trying on the brides dresses is just wrong and tacky. This is an experience the bride should have and enjoy.

This episode in particular seemed super scripted and fake. The rest are fine. One thing that realllyyy bothers me is how they fixate the camera to the blouse when they’re taking about it. I mean at least show the whole dress more than once! Urghh
I love this show and the owner has impeccable taste and seems like a very smart business owner. I want to own all these dresses . The workmanship of the garments are mind blowing .
Request: please stop putting a filter on the wedding videos at the end, it's really hard to see the end results with the brides in their outfits at their weddings

Blush is perfect with her skin tone. Very light and pretty. You don’t need major contrast for light colors, just the right undertones. But as far as a Indian wedding attire goes, I do not know the customs.
