    Pixie Spray - www.amazon.com...
    Microfiber Cloth - www.amazon.com...
Remember don't ever use fabric softener on Microfiber Cloths or they will streak. These are THE BEST for cleaning windows.
BONUS: I have a great window wash recipe if you are interested!
Store in a spray bottle and use often on windows and mirrors:
    1 part Windex
    1 part Cleaning Vinegar
    1 part Water
We would like to thank John Deley and the 41 Players for the use of their music - "Dixie Outlandish (Sting)" - for our intro and outtake.

It's good to know! Sometimes you might find some junk in there that is causing ghost images on your scan.

I haven’t seen this way to restick a mat before. I have used zig glue of some kid, I forget. When I did it my mat was sooo sticky I could not get my cardstock off without ruining it. I will clean my mat again and use the pixie spray as I have some, yay! Thanks again for you help and expertise!

Hi Jane - Glad to be of help!! Remember light spray with Pixie or you will have another overly tacky mat. It takes less than you think, and you can always add more!

Great explanation. Easy for people to follow. I have a Cricut and use the blue painter's tape to cover the side portions of the mat.👍 I do not have a Scan N Cut but I would love to see how it works. I am off to find your videos on that! Thanks!😉❤

I can see how blue tape would work well too. I just have the Post-it for other things here in the studio. I haven't done too many Scan N Cut videos ... yet. But there are several - enjoy!!

Great video. I use "goo gone" to clean my mats and aleene's tack-it over and over or pixie spray to re tack it.

Hi Kelly - I thought about using goo gone or another adhesive remover, but the residual tack doesn't bother anything. And I'm glad to know about the tack-it over and over. If you don't mind me asking - how do you apply? With a spatula?

I spread a thin layer with a spatula first then I have a large (6 inch) scraper that I use to smooth it out. Once dried it will be very tacky. So I get to play with it, I use my hands and just go over the whole thing a few times. Palm down and pat it all over. I guess you can say that you are conditioning it.

Hi Julia, now you have confused me...🙃is it Sunday or Monday??? LOL 🤣
Even though I do not have a Scan N Cut machine I found this maintenance tutorial interesting. Do you only have one cutting mat, and if you maintain the mat the way that you do would it last the life of the machine without having to replace the mat?
Also, that Post It repositionable tape is quite expensive, and you used a lot to protect the outer edge of your cutting mat. Do you reuse that tape on other craft projects?
Enjoy your weekend, and as always... "happy crafting!"
God's blessings, love and hugs, Gloria 🥰💐❤

LOL - sometimes I confuse myself! I was counting on it being Sunday in some part of the world!! Yes I do reuse that tape. And Yes I have more than one mat. Sometimes I like to have more than one mat ready to go in a multiple pass project. They don't last forever. Sometimes they get damaged. I have on that has a dogear corner and can only be fed in one way now. The machine munched on it because operator didn't feed it exactly properly...Love and Hugs from across the world!! Julia
