Here is the link to the video mentioned with @BlackBeltBarrister, the case where LV was sued and lost, but it was not due to counterfeit. ruclips.net/video/69AVgpfcEpk/видео.html
Well apparently Hermes is investigating an employee who supposedly swapped authentic bags for fakes and sold the authentic themselves. That’s probably the most likely scenario. Why would this women buy a real gab, swap it with a fake, have the fake authenticated knowing it’s fake, and then going back to LV claiming they sold her a fake? And then go to the trouble of suing? I don’t know… to me that’s what someone who is aggrieved does. It’s more likely an employee made the swap then thinking nobody would know the difference. And maybe others haven’t. This customer might have had suspicions when getting the bag home. Maybe they had others they compared to and something wasn’t right and that’s why they had it authenticated. That’s what I think anyway. Interesting video!
Why? because she gets to keep the real bag she originally bought, and got the payment (3 times more than what she paid for) for her law suit. So she got a free real bag and the money to buy three more.
If I had $40,000, I would buy 100 bags on *regbags* instead of designer luxury items. The money can be a down payment on a house, but it can't just be a package.
I'm not racist but I'm not buy any luxury brand in China. I never egree with people like buy fake louis vuitton. Or any brand name. One of my customers show me her fake neverful pm louis vuitton bag. S🙂 I don't know people believe it's look real . But I'm knew it fake.
When I heard this story, I was skeptical. Why would you go into any luxury boutique, purchase an item and then send it to an authentication company? I believe the customer was probably working with someone working in that boutique or the customer purchased a real bag, but returned a fake bag. Either way, this story sounds suspicious.
But I don't care because they just want to spend their money on stuff they don't need and as a mother I prefer high quality, durable products like I did 3 years ago in *preluxscom* :yt :The LV wallet we purchased is of sufficient quality for our whole family to use.
Bags in *regbags* are quite exquisite, and the workmanship is also meticulous. There is almost no difference from the original ones, and they are great value!
Great video as always! I have the UNIQLO in orange n ivory, Lululemon in green, red and black. I really love the lululemon red n black because i managed to snatch the ones with the limited edition lululemon embossed strap. N yes u r right, though speedy B25 been around for awhile, it really holds during the winter or summer. Love my speedy b25 too! Now that u mentioned, i may wanna buy the PU UNIQLO black They actually have it on COPYMAXY . Even more cheap. Another thing i agree with u ...backpack during holidays is worrisome. That's why my mcm backpack is seriously under utilised now Have a great day dear!
I don't know, I think the best way to run a scam like this would be to buy the bag and a accessory then switch it with a fake and sue for $10,000. She has the receipt showing she bought it and she is on camera showing she was a customer in the store buying the bag. So LV can never prove fraud as the only unusual thing she did was take it to an authenticator. So she wins as far as proving she bought the bag or at least it can't be proven she is running a scam.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in HIDUPZ other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals..
Several months ago I purchased a second hand Pochette Accessories and something felt off about it. I sent dozens of photos to get it authenticated and it turned out to be fake. I purchased it in Mercari where they authenticate everything just from looking at photos the seller posts unlike eBay where the item is authenticated in person at eBay facility before you receive it. No more mercari for me ❌
Years and years ago, before I shopped luxury items, my then-boyfriend's neighbor was a CA at LV. He had these bags that he was selling for less than retail. They were not popular styles at all. But since he was selling them for such a markdown, I bought one for my mom. I don't think it was a fake but now I want to inspect it to see. Was it possible that he bought it from the employee website and selling it for profit? Does LV have rules in place to prevent CAs from doing that?
Love your take on the topic Michelle! As always enjoying your insider insights !😊 I thought that at the case was that LV did not spot a fake which was returned and sold it to another customer because obviously they don’t need to sell fakes🤦🏻♀️ that doesn’t make any sense. But as everyone I’m wondering why she went for authentication? It’s a bit weird story and LV seems to be a victim in this case..
*preluxz* I think the idea of bags is fashion, which not only makes women more beautiful, but also supports them mentally and makes them more confident.
If I could get a YSL COPYMAXY bag for 500 euros I would buy one, but for 2000 euros I really don't think it's worth it. I think a lot of consumers are like this, which means that brands that choose to jack up prices to astronomical amounts lose a lot. I wouldn't spend that much on a woc, but a real bag that can hold more than one phone
I have a Gucci Horsebit Mini but almost bought the Jackie instead. The reason I didn't was because it's open ended and the Hosebit has a flap. It always baffles me why so many luxury bags don't have a safety clasp? Definitely a deal breaker in my opinion! So while I still love the shape of the Jackie, this is further proof that I made the right choice buying in *unidups* . ❤
Yes I know not everyone can afford these bags but wouldn't people want to see what other people think of the bag before wasting their money? Like what other RUclipsrs have said about this bag, I bought a *regbags* and I'm very happy with my bag. Thanks to the blogger, I showed this video to my sister and now she will definitely get the Louis Vuitton bag she has always wanted! Love this kind of videos!!
Hi Michelle. Thank you for your YT posts - very informative! One question regarding "date code stamp" - what if a speedy 25 released after March 2021 (i.e. speedy bandoulière 25 bicolor monogram empreinte leather) still has a date code stamp? The grey market seller claims it's authentic. What can you say about this? :)
Would love to hear more abt your job related to manufacturing- love learning things that we generally don’t hear abt, and the behind the scenes of a job like that, as well as The “Who, what, where, when, & how” etc. of the process of clothing manufacturing since most of us don’t know where our clothes come from.
Luxury brands only change their strategies for the super rich...The price increases of Fendi, LV, Givenchy and the like are nonsense. Therefore, those ordinary rich people or middle- and upper-class people who can really afford it need to think twice before buying it. If they are just looking to save face, they will buy from *regbags* .
I bought an authentic 80s Speedy 30 for under 200€ from Japan... it's beaten up and the handles are nearly black from all the grime. Since restauration is too expensive, i will fix it myself. This might be a sin, but this way i get a usable LV bag for under 200. :) Better than a fake any day. Thanks for the great video! And please, make some videos for us guys as well. :)
I really love *preluxz* bags. The fabric is very good. The golden embellishments add a touch of beauty. When I went to the church, I received some praise.
I know most LV bags have the arial type font date codes but there are some with the times new roman type font no? I am looking at some Sperone BB backpacks on fashionphile and they all have the times new roman font. I too thought it was weird at first that the font was like that.
Call me naive but I'd like to think there wasn't foul play on purpose here. I'd like to hope that it's a case that the sale's associate had an unlucky day and a fake was returned that was missed or something and no one was trying to get one on someone. In terms of why would you go to an authenticator after buying from an authentic store, I know I'm paranoid about things like this. So like I would with jewelry, I'd go to an authenticator just to have the paper. Also if I intend to resale in the future as I don't like the idea of having more than one or two of something like a bag and just presumptively get the paperwork together.
Great video Michelle. This sounds a bit suss to me, how many people buy a bag in the actual luxury store then run out out and get it “ authenticated” ?? It’s also a less well known bag with different design elements - the fakes I see are usually one colour mono canvas and easier to duplicate.
i heard of a story someone bgt a LV bag from Malaysia LV Store, went to Europe with it and bag was detained and cut (cannot remember by customs or at LV store) declaring its a fake.
In real life, no one will check your "replica" like this. So, if the replica is as good as the one above, they can't tell if it's fake. Furthermore, I can't even take her comparison seriously because of all the bias in the video. It's basically saying "Oh, because" I have the real one, I'll know it. So, you mean if you saw this from a few feet away *unidups* . Would you know if someone was sitting across from you at the table, for example? I don't think so.
This IS incredibly fishy! All of the things you mentioned…my “spidey senses” would immediately be triggered if someone purchased the bag in the boutique and then went to a third party Authenticator. Who does that? It does absolutely sound like a counterfeiting scheme. So not only do they receive a template of a real bag to work off of with a receipt to return the replica bag but also get paid three times the amount for their thievery. This does make me sad. Thanks for sharing your experiences…just wild! Nothing surprises me about retail though.
i wouldn't be surprised if they did. I read sometime ago how Donna KAran and other designers instead of fighting copyright they aligned themselves with the businesses that created them and made a deal to get money for those productions ( allegedly), whether is true, who knows. I have seen LV, Gucci copies that are uncanny, some that are half and less the cost of authentic ones. There is a new trend now where millionaires are buying authentic bags but using copies for wallets, belts etc. I really do see a future without overpriced brand name bags, IMHO. I get why some people like the originals and i don't see what's the point of buying a fake bag, what's the purpose? to fool others? to make others believe you can afford a brand name bag? is just silly, also people who make a business selling copies use the money for really bad things, is a mafia.
How are these companies allowed to get away with counterfeiting the real brands? Is Louis Vuitton getting paid for non LV companies selling counterfeit bags? It’s amazing how similar these bags are not telling them apart sometimes.
What kind of Neverfull was she carrying that you thought was impossible to get? I’m so curious since I see them EVERYWHERE. Side note: My mom bought an Alma BB from the Orlando Louis Vuitton and omg I legitimately think it’s a super fake. I begged her to exchange it, but it was back when items were scarce and she swore there is nothing wrong with the bag. Yeah ur right...all branded products now most of them made in china. Am just wondering how the company who made hard to get the name just tolerated to be copied by china? It would ruined the image of the company since the quality made from china isn't good.
Yup what started my lv journey is I found out my mother gave me a fake, it was a super fake, the only thing missing was the stamping on the back if the hardware.
Dear Michelle, I love your necklace in this video. I have been looking for one like that. Do you remember where you go that m? Sorry m, this is not a LV related comment . 😅

Hello! Interesting video, thanks for all the great LV content! I really enjoy!😃 I do have something I’d like to share, I purchased a preloved speedy 30 in demier ebene about 4 years ago. It’s made in US with an SD code which obviously means it’s made in US and from what I understand “SD” means it’s made in San Dimas CA, which I live 2 City’s over from(besides the point🤣😭) anyhow, I was understood that counterfeit bags are never stamped with and SD date code, I’ve heard most counterfeits are “made in France” but things like that are never certain so let me get to my point 😝 lol.. back to my bag I purchased, the date code literally looks like the date code your friend sent you with the SD seperated from the numbers, and my chaps have only 4stiches across.. however it’s been to LV to have it heatstamped as well as a repair had been made on the bag since I’ve owned it. Your video prompt me to pull out my speedy s to check, so than I get out my speedy 25 which is made in France and the date code on that one, there is no space from the CTand numbers, but still on the chaps only 4 stitches across.. sorry so long but I just wanted to share.. hope it makes sense, what are your thoughts?
I think u shouldn’t look down to anyone for carrying a fake bag. Not nice to say that “there is no way she could get her hands on that”! Like if u know she can’t afford a real job. That’s they problem with people judging. Woman and their shade
The customer is lying. The store name where she purchased it is not a Louis Vuitton store. 3000 dollars is that 3000rmb because that would be 450.00 USD. She got duped by the store, which is everywhere in China, and wanted her money back. The store said no, so she sued Louis Vuitton.
Better to buy preloved. If that comes back fake, it's easier to get your money back than to have to pry it from LV. Otherwise, coach? But these are counterfeited too😅
There is absolutely nothing wrong with counterfeit fashion items, as long as they are not fragrances, and as long as they sell for significantly less than the actual items from the manufacturers in question. #dupbags bags are great. Prices are all around $200.

I think u shouldn’t look down to anyone for carrying a fake bag. Not nice to say that “there is no way she could get her hands on that”! Like if u know she can’t afford a real job. That’s they problem with people judging. Woman and their shade
You misunderstood me. It was an exclusive product and although she has money, she isn’t VIC to get the bag!
The customer is lying. The store name where she purchased it is not a Louis Vuitton store. 3000 dollars is that 3000rmb because that would be 450.00 USD. She got duped by the store, which is everywhere in China, and wanted her money back. The store said no, so she sued Louis Vuitton.
I have not heard about this! This story sounds suspicious! Just a crazy story.
Hi Dileen! I think it’s quite suspicious! Thanks for watching! 💕
Ohh shit!! LV needs to get there shit together lol🤣🤣🤣fake or real?!!
you should see all the tourists in Chinatown NYC and Times Square that really think those bags sold on the sidewalk are real.
🤦🏻♀️
No, they don’t believe that in a minute.
Keep up the gud work
Whaaatttttt you resell a return???like theyve use the bag???
Better to buy preloved. If that comes back fake, it's easier to get your money back than to have to pry it from LV. Otherwise, coach? But these are counterfeited too😅
😂 girl I don’t know anymore! Loved your video on this topic too!

I follow BBB! Small world.
Cool! He’s awesome!
#dupbags have the best quality real leather bags in the world! You will see what I am talking about when you receive your bag from them
There is absolutely nothing wrong with counterfeit fashion items, as long as they are not fragrances, and as long as they sell for significantly less than the actual items from the manufacturers in question. #dupbags bags are great. Prices are all around $200.
fake news
WTF, wasted my 20mins to watch this video that was without content and dint answer the question on LV selling fake bag.
WTF I said right at the beginning 😂 thanks for the view!! 💕
