Unless someone has both bags to compare, I don’t think the average person could tell the difference. Also I don’t know why these bags are so expensive. They are canvas, not quality leather.
LV bags are hand stitched. That is what you are paying for. Quality materials and a lifetime warranty. The fakes, as nice as they look new, will quickly wear out. I got taken many years ago and the LV bag looked like crap soon after using it.. I own 3 real ones now. That is plenty, but definitely worth the investment.
Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. I bought a LV messenger bag (2004/2007 era) atyt: *pre *condupcom* ars ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.
I love how she keeps saying "very big difference" when there's nothing but minor differences. I've purchased authentic bags from their respective stores for girlfriends. After seeing how close the fakes are now, I can't stomach the idea of paying so much for a "real" bag again.
She's secretly trying to sell the fake, so she's not comparing the main stuff that make you know it's fake. The replica people pay them $3000, to try to promote their bag

Important fact: The older denier ebene bags had the shinier finish to the leather.. and LV dust bags and boxes are always a little different depending on where they are made. It’s so so hard to spot a fake because of LV’s really bad quality challenges…

I have multiple fakes that I’ve carried for over 3 years now. My Neverfull I use everyday. It has a gorgeous patina and has not one flaw. Just because something is fake doesn’t mean it won’t last just as long. These fake bags are made the same exact way with the same exact materials… you realize you’re paying for a name & Not any difference in quality right?

At the end of the day, it is all an ego purchase because people think they are doing something by having a labeled good and spending big money. A $300 Italian leather bag will do the same thing as a LV and without the exorbitant cost. However, "some" people don't feel as special without the label that everyone can see.
I think I rather sport the fake. Since the pandemic, I don’t feel safe carrying any luxury bags. Only a Coach wristlet if I’m close to home. NYC isn’t the same anymore.
This was a great comparison. I've been waiting on someone to do this type of review. After reading some of the comments of the people who bought the fake ones and said that their purses lasted for years.... I guess it's really just up to the individual.
I find this all so so interesting. Luxury is a choice and I am all for it if you want to spend your money on it, but the price increases each year especially for LV is crazy. The super fakes are so good nowadays and a small or action of what the authentic are going for

Matte vs shiny leather is not an immediate indication of being fake. Depends when the bag was made. Prior to 2020 LV leather was shiny, only comes in all matte after.
Yes she should’ve mentioned that because I bought an older bag and thought it was fake because of that shine.. but learned the older ones look different.
Now that’s the real tea. LV bags are not made out of leather only the straps and trimming is made with vachetta leather the rest is canvas. I own real and fake ones. I told my children not to make a mistake and sell my real bags as fakes if something happened to me. They told me I need to separate them because they can’t tell the difference.

The fakes at least on DHGate range from $50-$150 and their really good quality whereas the real bag is like $1600. I'd rather buy a fake than drop the cost of rent on a bag

A lot of fakes will say made in France since they know most people want MIF. I don’t think I’ve heard of a fake made in USA one but that doesn’t mean if doesn’t exist. I always buy from boutique and if I ever sell I have my receipt and everything so the person feels comfortable. But I’m honest and that’s super rare with so many scammers

Not quite so! Fake copy are made in sweatshop by trafficked children and adults the real one are made by the company and the country they are located in. The fake ones are cheap the real one are expensive. This is why I buy my clothing online from the real company.

A lot of times these bags are not necessarily fake, it's just that they did not pass quality control. Once they do not pass they are removed and stripped of parts or sold as parts. Other countries buy them and can sew and piece them together and resell them thus making them not authentic because the bag was not purchased from the actual designer. This is how they look and feel exactly like the "real" bag.
This isn’t true, high end brands incinerate their products that don’t meet quality control. They also incinerate old stock that didn’t sell, or sell it to 3rd party retailers to offer at discount as they refuse to have a sale on their own items

The fakes are very good these days. I have 3 real Louis Vuitton bags & one fake. I got my copy from Goa in India & it’s a very nice fake, the only thing with the fake one is the handles go raggedy very quick. Other than that it actually looks better than the real one which is shocking! All the hardware is stamped even on the d rings & the liner is very nice the colour is brighter on the canvas as well. So I just got my speedy 30 yesterday for my 40th & I nearly shit myself because there wasn’t a stamp code in the bag! I immediately phoned up Louis Vuitton & asked why this was as my others had it & they said,……. since March 1st 2021 they have stopped branding all their bags with the code & replaced it with microchip trackers that are built into the liner. So bags made now don’t have the code. You are right about everything in you’re video, the weight, the strap the liner etc. I’m just shocked how good the fakes are these days some are actually better than the original ones. Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *amzrepe* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

The older authentics have a shinier straps and leather I believe. You probley got their reissue when you got the authentic. So the rep shiner leather is not necessarily wrong, if I'm correct.
Hello, thanks for this video. I like buying some pre loved LV bags which are still chic despite the age. However, I choose those designs which are not too “common” if I may say. I’m taking about neverfull, speedy,bandouliere, etc. Of course those counterfeiters would not go to great lengths making copies of the lesser known yet fabulous designs. It also helps to know your reseller. Don’t just buy from anywhere else.

Mmmm…I got mine from the Louis Vuitton store way back in 2018 and back then, the version of the Speedy B is shiny and the end of the handle is a bit embossed not like nowadays that is already flat and matte. It depends on where you got this fake bag of yours that looks like an authentic Speedy B (though I can see the box is truly fake) great comparison and let’s enjoy our LVs.

Does that really make sense to you..... that's just something sellers say. to be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *condupcom* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do
A bag shape is not copyrightable, only the logos and certain techniques. It's not a problem to sell a similar shape as long as you are not trying to sell it are an original, which is then actual *esluxs* . I, however, will buy and wear what I like with no regard to what other people are wearing.

My Speedy B 25 in Monogram doesn't have a date code or anything indicating where it was made. I bought it from the Louis Vuitton store in SF. I called LV customer service (their 800#) and they said they aren't putting date codes on new bags anymore. It's still strange to me and the rep said if I want, I can return the bag within 30 days. Has anyone heard of this happening?

Yes the color of the LYXBAG is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Using fake one giving at east that I'm not worried it can be stolen or damage, tbh when I got my authentic ones I'm not so amazed with LVs quality but it's just I love their designs and it really is so much different when you carry a real one vs fake one (it's just me) the thing is why I buy the authentic one is it's resale value. I have one LYXBAG bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

They are not really fake. Most of them were manufactured using the same materials, they just didn't pass the quality control because of a very slight imperfection. I wouldn't care of buying a "fake" one with the same materials for a cheaper price.
@@zarda2 thats not true, sellers are straight up honest about their own factories they are using and its not the same are big brand names. And materials are not “failed quality check” they are sourced from the same factories(superfakes). It depends on the factory.
Another giveaway factor of a fake in this print is the handle positioning. Where the handle is sown onto is centre to a dark squares, with two darker squares either side. The fake does not line up or symmetrical. Hope that makes sense

I have multiple fakes that I’ve carried for over 3 years now. My Neverfull I use everyday. It has a gorgeous patina and has not one flaw. Just because something is fake doesn’t mean it won’t last just as long. These fake bags are made the same exact way with the same exact materials… you realize you’re paying for a name & Not any difference in quality right?

At the end of the day, it is all an ego purchase because people think they are doing something by having a labeled good and spending big money. A $300 Italian leather bag will do the same thing as a LV and without the exorbitant cost. However, "some" people don't feel as special without the label that everyone can see.
Italian bags are amazing. Their hides are usually tanned in the same areas or places that does LV’s.
I think I rather sport the fake. Since the pandemic, I don’t feel safe carrying any luxury bags. Only a Coach wristlet if I’m close to home. NYC isn’t the same anymore.

Matte vs shiny leather is not an immediate indication of being fake. Depends when the bag was made. Prior to 2020 LV leather was shiny, only comes in all matte after.

A lot of times these bags are not necessarily fake, it's just that they did not pass quality control. Once they do not pass they are removed and stripped of parts or sold as parts. Other countries buy them and can sew and piece them together and resell them thus making them not authentic because the bag was not purchased from the actual designer. This is how they look and feel exactly like the "real" bag.

The fakes are very good these days. I have 3 real Louis Vuitton bags & one fake.
I got my copy from Goa in India & it’s a very nice fake, the only thing with the fake one is the handles go raggedy very quick. Other than that it actually looks better than the real one which is shocking! All the hardware is stamped even on the d rings & the liner is very nice the colour is brighter on the canvas as well.
So I just got my speedy 30 yesterday for my 40th & I nearly shit myself because there wasn’t a stamp code in the bag! I immediately phoned up Louis Vuitton & asked why this was as my others had it & they said,……. since March 1st 2021 they have stopped branding all their bags with the code & replaced it with microchip trackers that are built into the liner. So bags made now don’t have the code.

Hello, thanks for this video. I like buying some pre loved LV bags which are still chic despite the age. However, I choose those designs which are not too “common” if I may say. I’m taking about neverfull, speedy,bandouliere, etc. Of course those counterfeiters would not go to great lengths making copies of the lesser known yet fabulous designs. It also helps to know your reseller. Don’t just buy from anywhere else.

If it’s about the leather.. old damier ebene has glossy leather it has only changed to matte recently. It is not a factor to authenticate.
Mmmm…I got mine from the Louis Vuitton store way back in 2018 and back then, the version of the Speedy B is shiny and the end of the handle is a bit embossed not like nowadays that is already flat and matte. It depends on where you got this fake bag of yours that looks like an authentic Speedy B (though I can see the box is truly fake) great comparison and let’s enjoy our LVs.

My Speedy B 25 in Monogram doesn't have a date code or anything indicating where it was made. I bought it from the Louis Vuitton store in SF. I called LV customer service (their 800#) and they said they aren't putting date codes on new bags anymore. It's still strange to me and the rep said if I want, I can return the bag within 30 days. Has anyone heard of this happening?

I have one LYXBAG bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

I bought a fake one that I thought was real from one of those apps and lucky for me my friend who works for LV helped authenticate it and determined it was fake. It really looks almost identical to the real just that the smells definitely gave it up.

Plenty of authentic LV pieces do not have perfect symmetry. You even see that on the images on LV's own website.
I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from HIDUPZ for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.
