Hey, ive been into vr modding a lot lately and i see a trend, where the vr view always looks really flat (shadows are mostly non existent, everything feels very well lit up) and i was wondering. Is it purely a performance thing, or is it a preference. I ran into a lot of trouble trying shaders in vr (not just minecraft) and im wondering whether im missing something fundamental, where some part of flatscreen lighting straight up doesnt work in vr.
Also, thank you so much for spending like a month of your time to bring me and other internet goobers 8 minutes of pleasure, it's people like you that make the internet awesome. ps. just saw the 3070 in your f3 menu, makes sense now, as im rocking a 3060ti, maybe i should learn from you and not try to push and minmax shaders so i can run them even if it means less than 60fps in vr
Hm I haven't noticed it until you brought it up 🤔 It could very well be part of a performance mod such as, but I personally didn't do anything to make it look that

daaaaaaaaamnn im stuck with a ryzen5 2400G , 16gb ram and 1060. thats why everyones getting good performance in mcvr except me. got it.
