Love you to do succulents, love your your teaching.
What a clear explanation and demonstration of glazing...it really does make a big difference, adding a certain liveliness to the subject...thank you.
Very helpful! Thank you!💕
Beautiful affect with the glazing, it really brought it to life. Hope you and your son feel better real soon.Thank you for the video.💞💫
Thanks so much Kim, we are ok now :) I have to admit although apart from when doing a botanical watercolour illustration I was not a huge fan of glazing but now I am starting to really appreciate it even in quick and easy illustrations :)
Your instructions are so easy to follow. Thanks
So this video came at perfect time for me. I just started teaching myself in March. I am just now trying to learn the glazing and shading flowers, leaves ect. I REALLY NEED practice and more video's like this. Mine have not been coming out very good. I also don't get how to do a large flower, like where to glaze/shade. I would love to see cactus. Yours was very cute.
A big improvement. It looks much more organic. A nice lesson.
You are too critical of your work, it’s lovely.
Yes, would always like to learn more about glazing. If you did more videos on the topic, I will happily watch and “like” them! Thank you again for all the videos you do share on RUclips. Also can you tell me again what that ‘corrector’ brush is that you use in this video? That’s a great tool!
Thanks for this, it does take it up to the next level. Our weather here in New York is horrible too, one day it's warm, then it's snowing again.
Oh tell me about it! But it looks like the last snow has officially melted here and I would hope that it was the last snow for this winter/spring :)) Hope today was a bright and sunny day in New York as it's been here!
My poor tulips, they were a good 10cm out when they got hit with the frost but somehow miraculously seem to be back to normal. A few of those are parrot tulips, stunning flowers, hopefully they will be ok and I can paint them later in the season :)
So pretty, I love the style especially the radishes. Please do a tutorial in line work with watercolor glazing for us ❤️
I love how I can tell that an illustration is yours. I am so new to painting/drawing that I cannot even imagine that I might one day actually find a unique style....especially considering that I am starting this journey at 48 years of age. I don't know what happened...but I just seemed to wake up one day and just NEED color and art in my life. And the 'pandemic' made me realize there is no waiting in life. I really appreciate your videos. I really really love your funky fashion faces/ladies. I found one that I just adore on your instagram page. It is a lady that you painted with maybe Lunar Black or Mars Black and she has these pretty blue leaves on her head and some areas of gold. I would love to get a hold of some old National Geographic magazines and try and sketch women from other cultures. However, in this day and age, being Caucasian, I am just not sure if I am "allowed" to do that - even if my intent is to create something beautiful. We shall see if I can find some bravery or not. Hugs from New Orleans.
Thank you Barbara! I don’t think it is ever too late to start making art. I believe art and creativity is dormant in most of us until one day... Life used to be different, very fast and very hectic before 2020. It was a good time to slow down and embark upon new activities, arts and crafts! 👍🏼🧡
@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations Thank you for those encouraging words! Do you have any plans on creating a course on Teachable.com specifically for the fashion faces? I think that would be such a delightful course!
@@BB-nz5sk yep that’s actually the next course coming, it’s already filmed and is waiting to be edited! Should be available soon after my Handmade Watercolours: Tropical Palette launch! :)
@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations 😄❤️❤️❤️
Yes please. I would love a tutorial on the subject ❤❤
I’m sick too! I have bronchitis. I did this tutorial in my sketch book the other day. I’ll take a look and see if I want to add some glazing too. Hope you both are feeling better soon.
I am just catching up with my comments :) Hope you are better now! We have pretty much stayed in over weekend still keeping warm and I happy to say we are finally ok :) Since I became a mom it is just taking me ages to get over a cold of flu... no time to rest does that I guess.
Would love for you to do more glazing tutorials. I'd really like to see you work more with the Sennelier paints. It was so much fun watching them come alive with water. And how the layers of glazing intensified with each application. Thank you.
i know I'm pretty off topic but does anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Devin Kairo Flixportal
@Roman Oscar thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I really appreciate it!
@Devin Kairo no problem xD
Lovely
if you glaze with color on one brush and keep a second brush for softening edges wet only with clear water, it goes just as well and you don't have to keep rinsing your paint out. cute paintings though.
Great tip! :)
Lovely! The glazing really made the radish come alive. Love it! 😍 Did you work from a reference photo?
