Surprisingly great track from the Clash drummer! 1985 was the year of the poorly received last LP 'Cut The Crap' too and Topper was bashing away with this gem! Amazing!
in his day yes indeed he probably was....He's been eclipsed since sure...but that's the way of life...people set the standards and others come along to go above and beyond them...But there's no doubt about it....at the peak of his power?.. he was truly a level above the rest.
Great recording. I had no idea this existed. Topper's drumming on the Clash records is outstanding. I've probably listened to the vamp on "Revolution Rock" when he's just beating the CRAP out of his snare at least 5,000 times.

Toper Headon, the best drummer of the earth.

Great version of "Swingin' Mr Gene"' Krupa's original! I have this album but haven't had a turntable for 15 years, so great to find it here!
Ich hab die Schallplatte noch aus Vinyl
Awesome stuff! Anyone know who the singer is by any chance?
Didi Sketcher, now singing with The Railway Swing Band. There are videos of that band on RUclips.
