I was at the game. I'm 30 and had never seen the Bengals win a playoff game. Glad I could watch it live. I've never heard the stadium so loud. Lot of energy and emotion in the building. I saw grown men crying when the game was over. Finally the Bengals have won a playoff game in my lifetime. Now they can focus on winning it all. There were a lot of Raider fans who made the trip. Most of them were pretty cool
Finally after 24 years I’ve seen my home team play a fantastic playoff game with a clutch ending. To Cinci this is the first roster in a long time we’re truly proud of.
The fact that the raiders even got themselves back into the game after being down 20-6 at one point, and almost forcing overtime is impressive. This game did not disappoint, came down to the very last play.
Most underrated part of the Bengals offense is Evan McPhersen. He scored more than half their points today and it feels like he hasn’t missed since that crazy Packers game early in the season.

Several months ago he was fortunate to scuba dive with their Offense Coordinator( he told me the name but I forgot) so they talked football while on a boat in the middle of nowhere Pacific Ocean. Been a fan of the Bengals since the 80s. I remember how my city was when we went to the superbowl. The feeling and excitement wverybody had was amazing. While it would have been cool for the raiders to go deep in the playoffs (out of sheer relation to the legendary John Madden)…I think it was badass to see the Bengals win a playoff game after 31 years…great game. Both teams deserved a W. But only one team can go forward.

What game did you watch? Raiders converted like 99% of their 3rd and 4th downs to 1st downs. The defense was awful. Raiders got in their own way w offensive holding penalties.
@@cosborne06 I watched the full game every play the defense rushed too the ball and hit hard instead of just looking at statistics look at the actual clips and full game a lot of those conversions were on long development plays or the defense getting to eager ex Hubbard full sprinting up to car instead of staying in coverage

@@theglassesriley8229 IF they fix that offensive line and get a true #1 and #2 receiver, that won't be a problem. It's much easier to get open between the 20's than it is in the red zone. Defenses tighten up and it takes better skill players than the Raiders have currently. Give Carr a better line and an actual top shelf receiver or 2 and this team seriously levels up.
Been a bengals fan since I was a kid. I was so stressed this game I wanted this play off win and we got it!! Lots of respect to the raiders though. After all they dealt with this year to make it this far is impressive. I feel for Carr you could see the disappointment in his face when he threw that interception. I remember I think they played in the super bowl in '89 I can't remember they lost the San Francisco. The Bengals lost every playoff game first round for three decades it's good to see him win Marvin Lewis was a god. Because he never got fired for never winning a playoff game.

My dad was a Bengals fan his whole life. He passed away from a terrible form of cancer last year, the week after Joe Burrow got injured. He always said, when they win, just think of me. Any QB is gonna be hard pressed to win consistently with a defense like that. I’m not gonna say he’s top 10, but he’s decent enough to get the Raiders through a deep playoff run if they can give him an above average defense at least.
@Frenzy derek carr has to work with a team who lost their best wr, a good head coach, and one of the best cbs on the team. the were 6-7 and still made the playoffs with a 4 win streak. they had to overcome the chargers and the colts.

@Montel Reynolds come on bro im not a fan of either team so I can say objectively this was just a great game imo.. The Bengals offense ran up and down the field most of the game. The raiders defense in the red zone is what kept this game within reach, though, even tho the Bengals were rolling pretty well on offense. The raiders accomplished an incredible feat simply by making it this far with all the head coaching turmoil they dealt with. Carr threw some dimes and kept his team within reach. He's clearly a big part of this team as far as leadership goes, and I'd absolutely extend him if I was the raiders. Maybe with another offensive piece or two, if they can maybe find another solid young receiver or even tight end in the draft or FA, maybe Carr can lead this squad even deeper. Assuming they find a good head coach, that is. Sorry for rambling I just would be excited if I was the raiders. Got a lot to be happy about in my opinion just looking at this team.

While it would have been cool for the raiders to go deep in the playoffs (out of sheer relation to the legendary John Madden)…I think it was badass to see the Bengals win a playoff game after 31 years…great game. Both teams deserved a W. But only one team can go forward.

What game did you watch? Raiders converted like 99% of their 3rd and 4th downs to 1st downs. The defense was awful. Raiders got in their own way w offensive holding penalties.
@@cosborne06 I watched the full game every play the defense rushed too the ball and hit hard instead of just looking at statistics look at the actual clips and full game a lot of those conversions were on long development plays or the defense getting to eager ex Hubbard full sprinting up to car instead of staying in coverage

@@theglassesriley8229 IF they fix that offensive line and get a true #1 and #2 receiver, that won't be a problem. It's much easier to get open between the 20's than it is in the red zone. Defenses tighten up and it takes better skill players than the Raiders have currently. Give Carr a better line and an actual top shelf receiver or 2 and this team seriously levels up.

My dad was a Bengals fan his whole life. He passed away from a terrible form of cancer last year, the week after Joe Burrow got injured. He always said, when they win, just think of me. Any QB is gonna be hard pressed to win consistently with a defense like that. I’m not gonna say he’s top 10, but he’s decent enough to get the Raiders through a deep playoff run if they can give him an above average defense at least.

what a game, bengals were so hot on the end of the season just to make play their sub on the last leg and i was wondering if they haven't cooled too much. But even if the raiders are red hot during the money time this season, they couldn't beat theses bengals. Burrow and cie deserve this one and since they killed the longest active drought , Bengals will be really dangerous during the PO.

@Montel Reynolds come on bro im not a fan of either team so I can say objectively this was just a great game imo.. The Bengals offense ran up and down the field most of the game. The raiders defense in the red zone is what kept this game within reach, though, even tho the Bengals were rolling pretty well on offense. The raiders accomplished an incredible feat simply by making it this far with all the head coaching turmoil they dealt with.
Carr threw some dimes and kept his team within reach. He's clearly a big part of this team as far as leadership goes, and I'd absolutely extend him if I was the raiders. Maybe with another offensive piece or two, if they can maybe find another solid young receiver or even tight end in the draft or FA, maybe Carr can lead this squad even deeper. Assuming they find a good head coach, that is. Sorry for rambling I just would be excited if I was the raiders. Got a lot to be happy about in my opinion just looking at this team.

Cowboys fan here. I love the playoffs. The best playing the best! Bengals got a lot of new knowledge from this game and so did the Raiders. Raiders need to improve that offensive line with those penalties. It’s something we suffer as well. Hope Cowboys saw this match up and learned from it 👌🏼

Big ups to the Raiders this year! The team overcame some huge obstacles. They just need more consistency as a unit. You can’t be amazing one game, then look 5-5 the next. The defense has definitely came up. Maxx is a beast 🏴
