@@monyreginacarvalhocarvalho7391 There's no reason to mention Chrono Trigger, it's a game that has the mentions it deserves, Lufia, we can't say the same
The stories of Maxim & Tia and Maxim & Selan are heartbreaking, this game has such a beautiful melancholy and it shows us that it's OK if there are sad parts because together we build a better whole
Yep, no doubt about it. I love watching video playthroughs of this game (TAS or not). Makes me kinda wish the series was well-known enough to get another sequel (beyond that "Curse of the Sinistrals" DS remake) on home-consoles. :P
I am currently in the red dragon dungeon (2:19:49). However, there is no Elder appearing on top of the hill. :/ Did I probably miss triggering this event by talking to some people in town? Or is this a bug in worst case?
@@aerisgainsborough2141 one time I found a generic version of that puzzle you could solve online. I showed it to a friend at the time... who proceeded to solve it in like an hour or less. So frustrating to see that in response!
Ah yes this game was so glitchy on snes when I played it. Sometimes it would play and sometimes it wouldn't. I got so mad and bashed it while it was in the system and it reset and allowed me to play it, though Tia started at level 42 and after I killed the catfish boss the game crashed and erased all of the saves I had. Ahhhhh the memories.
Solves world's most difficult trick...only takes the Lizard Blow. I screamed out loud and then died inside. Effing speedrunners, lol. Couldn't spare 7 more seconds to get more great gear?
@@zacharydetrick7428 So true!! It's such a deliberate flex too, like I'm so confident I know exactly what i need that I''ll skip these even though i took the time to unlock them. It's like when you watch a no damage run of Zelda and they ignore all the heart containers. You know they dont' need it cuz they don't plan on taking damage, but it hurts my brain to see it, lol.
When I was young Lufia 2 is in my top 3 most frustrating SNES RPGs. I even had someone solve The World's Most Difficult Puzzle. 1. 7th Saga - very hard difficulty 2. Ogre Battle - permadeath 3. Lufia 2 - annoying puzzles
Lufia 1 & 2 are two of my most favorite RPGs ever. They're criminally underrated.
Hey i am chrono trigger bro

The ending is so heartbreaking. Its beautiful but hurts so much.
I have a suspicion that witnessing that ending as a child is why I'm extra susceptible to bring overcome by emotion regarding the loss of others.
(Selan hugs Maxim and Tia leaves)
Next scene (The Wedding Ceremony) well that escalated quickly
This game is so underrated. One of the few games I have beaten multiple times.
A classic. This game is amazing

This game was so fun! I found it like 8 years ago?
Good times 👍
by the time maxim leaves the town, the ACE run already finished the game, crazy how broken the options menu is
Awesome speed run, gj

You can patch the ROM to fix the bugs on emulator. Amasing game.
One of the first RPGs that managed to make me cry ugly in the finale, but I still prefer this to the DS remake, which pulled the punch.
Love this game but i didnt complete it until later because it was hard

Hahaha I guess it's the only one he needed, speedrunners are all offense and no defense!
