Great review! However only Kittie’s first album was nu-metal, imo. By the last two albums, their sound evolved into more of a melodic thrash metal w/ various other elements & they have this general dark/gothic vibe. I absolutely love how all of the new material I’ve heard from their new album ‘Fire’ (out this summer) has a groovy feel that automatically makes your head bob. Such a talented band that has evolved IMMENSELY over the years, yet sadly were very underrated & underestimated. Now, thanks to the resurgence of interest in the band due to GenZ’s obsession w/ nu-metal & playing festivals, they caught the attention of Sumerian Records, whom they signed with. People’s reactions have been incredible! Since so many associate Kittie w/ only their first album, which they wrote in their early teens, they sound like a completely different band. I’m so proud & glad for the ladies, because they’re finally getting the recognition and attention they’ve deserved for so long!

Kittie is back with a VENGEANCE!!!! LOVE it!!! They are TIGHTER than ever before!!!! I love both Morgan Landers clean vocals and harsh vocals!!! The QUEENS are back!!!!

When I heard kittie signed to Sumerian records I pictured That part of Tenacious D's pick of destiny movie where He plays for the younger kids and they all get bored and laugh lol. I'm glad they are killing it so far.

It may have been some time since their last album, but Kittie hasn't gone anywhere. They were still touring and playing music, I am glad for new music though.
their music gets better and better with every album and this is a testament of that lyrically sonically conceptually all top notch
