Got my first bike in college; Parents were surprised I got a bank loan! When I sold it- they had a party. Until the next bike. But they came around- knew I took it seriously (classes, skills, gear), etc. That was 44 years ago…and I’m still riding at 68.

She even said that that wasn't me, that I changed😅 that the kid she raised would never get a motorcycle😅 Later on, she got very supportive and even got me to ride more😊 I wish she was here to see the new bike I got. She would love it!💙
My Dad rode when he was very young in the Navy. Maybe an Indian? When my Dad was in his 70's I had a 79 KX750 which was not big enough to take someone for a ride. I rented a Harley and he and his pacemaker and hearing aids hopped on and we went a couple miles down the road and back. Turns out he should have turned the hearing aids off. Very memorable for me. I think he was terrified. Thank you for sharing.

In 1975 my sister gat a Suzuki Enduro two stroke and my dad was test riding it around the yard and stopped and was talking, while revving up the engine some, my brother pushed down on the gear shifter causing my dad to jolt forward expediently accelerating, He rode a wheely about 60 feet into the side of our garage, didn't get hurt and the bike was ok. Still a family story, and the bike is still in the family!!

My mom ride with me in a Semi(tractor trailer)months at a time all over the USA. So when I ask her to et a a motorcycle, her fake riding was funny(like your mom) but she did ride around in the parking lot.

OMG that was awesome. Being Filipino myself, I was envisioning that was my mom doing that because she wouldve acted the same way. I only started riding not too long ago, and I'm in my 40s now, yet my parents really do not approve of me riding. Just to add, I have a second motorcycle (boulevard M50) that they don't even know I own. Lol. Very cute and very funny video. Thanks for sharing.
