How much to record someone I need ur skills and expertise
As a guitarist for the last 15 years who's constantly dabbling with audio production and effects...I cannot overstate how insanely impressive making music like this is. The timing, memorization, muscle memory, and talent all working together at the same time here is just...astounding. I literally can't imagine how many hours of prep went into this one song. It should be impossible for one person to create this alone in a live setting and until very recently, it was. This is genuinely the future of music here, folks. This is what performances in space stations will look like. Society just hasn't caught up yet.
music shouldn't be about being impressed. that's the ego. it should move you. from, a former jazz fusion snob... and ps, society is cued into house and dance music, it's all the rage, it's super popular, there are many songs in this genre and sound that get over 100million views on youtube... . u need to dig deeper, this is called tropical house. and there are also artists who have solos etc in this genre. .really. do yourself a favor and explore youtube, spotify, etc. ... (no need respond, no notifications)...

Music is as varied as humans are. Some music is designed to make people laugh. Some to relax you, or help you get the rage out. Some to make you tap your foot and feel amazed.
Music can be ANY sound expressed or perceived by people, in my opinion.
The patter of rain, the thunderous bass notes of a powerful speech, or the sound of dial-up internet.
If Neon Vines heard THIS in her mind, and brought it to reality in a live performance, then she is as much an artist as anybody else I could mention.
Why is this girl not famous yet. Her talent in music making, looks and amazing voice, she should be already signed with a major record company.

Real answer here. I don't think the people interested in this type of music are interested in the athletic ability to play that music. I don't think a large part of her target audience knows, or cares, what she is doing, and it's a damn shame.
Do you see Jackie Buono's gear? About $100k worth of hardware has floated through her studio over the last few years as she keeps upgrading over and over again. I'd say that's a good level of success. I think she has moved on though. No new videos in over a year.
Cuz this music sucks. This is good for background stuff.. to be famous you need a personality and looks and pop or original great songs. Shes the producer type.

I remember watching some of Neon Vines' performances approximately two years back and being confused as to why she wasn't more well known. First one I saw was Give It Up, which I thought was awesome. It's been super cool to see her start to get more recognition because her performances are so deserving of it.

@@brianmi40 I live in Houston, and she is from Austin; I go there on weekends to the usual places where they have live performances, but I never see her. Nowhere does she publish where she will perform. I am guessing she no longer needs to promote the equipment she uses on her youtube videos, having a better deal.
She may also be doing studio work for major performers. She is incredibly talented!

@@TheWhiteheadhouse for sure, I for one am going to incorporate more 'performance' as I admit I spent so long coming up with it and rushing to post, but it's humbling this. Just last night I watched this, and realised I have to be the performer/musician, especially on a video based platform! It's too basic in my opinion to just twist the dials, I mean it's just bringing that live feeling to it again and breathing life into that otherwise very automated feel
@@JackParker - Yeah it's mixed Traditional DJ performance with a live musician/vocal, delivered through new technology - It's a new genre effectively with convergence of traditional elements. Fascinating. It's great to see recognition of how you can improve Jack. That honest assessment is how we get great performers - Go smash it !

Durch einen Zufall gefunden. Hochtalentiert, bildhübsch, gute Stimme und dann noch die unglaubliche Fähigkeit, all diese Instrumente in perfekter Präzision (gleichzeitig) zu spielen. Hochachtung vor diesem musikalischen Ausnahmetalent! Mich wundert es auch, daß diese Dame nicht schon längst weltbekannt ist. Kommentar gilt auch für die anderen Musikstücke.

As a producer myself, let me tell you that you need an extensive amount of production skill to pull this off. Everything is highly produced and mixed, and the vocal is very likely also post-produced, I don't think they just used a live-rack (also, there's no reason to do so, seeing that youtube grants the possibility for post-production).
That said, I agree with your overall sentiment though: fewer gatekeepers are a thing the overall craft will benefit from, and the music industry was long due for a shake-up.

I know you are being funny, but this comment relates to so many people that I feel the need to say this. Because it may be motivating to others, but me as well.
Need to set timelines on them goals my friend. Oh, and also meet them. Complete a song in one week is a good goal. That goal should naturally create restraints that should keep ya on track because we all know musical ideas lead to other musical ideas that lead to others and so on. Anyone who is a novelty junky and is a musician has a really difficult time completing anything.
Then find a community of people that you trust to be honest with you and provide constructive feed back, post your one week project, and then rinse and repeat. Essentially practicing finishing projects.

Workflow problems are a beast of there own .... Use the Ableton set markers so you can label each part of your song and create the track outline before you even start with the music. Then you will have purpose with each section and how it moves into the next ...for example Intro/verse 1/chorus 1 /verse 2/ chorus 2/ bridge/ chorus 3 /Outro.
This came up as an ad before a video I wanted to watch and for the first time, pretty much ever, I watched an ad all the way through. It literally took my breath away It’s astonishing! I love finding things like this which open my mind to new stuff. Great talent. Thank you!

I love the lumi keys as a controller. Has anyone else had any issues with pressure sensitivity on the first C and last B on the end of their controller?
She´s absolutely a benchmark in case of multitasking! In comparison to her earlier videos she definitely upgraded all of her equipment: She moved to a much bigger room, with much better cameras and much more music equipment, so it looks as if she makes some money out of her talent! The next step would be performing live on stage! I´d love to see her there!
If more EDM was done like this, being played live instead of just someone pressing play on a recording, the whole scene would really benefit.
You actually put many big names to shame because you can actually play your tech.
