They can definitely catch feelings just how they use those feelings and how they think about them, and how they use them and manifest them into the relationship
I had a friend's with benefits one time and she had 4 other guys she was friends with benefits with as well. She didn't want me to sleep with anyone but her. It worked out great and I really didn't care until I met someone I wanted to be in a relationship with and she lost her mind because of it.
@weskirkland5850 Well, there were a few reasons I told her the truth. For one is because I thought it was kind of hypocritical of her to have five guys in all she was screwing around with, but none of them could screw around any other woman by her.
Lame. Why can she have 4 other FWB guys and telling you cannot have any other. That is not fair. Just lie to her. You're FWB. Not in a committed relationship. Those other FWB guys she's doing are having FWB others too. So that is high risk for STD. Personally, if we are FWB, I expect exclusivity between us.
They can work, but.... 1. Too often one of them wants more secretly from the beginning. Don't do it that way. Be on the same page. 2. Don't sleep over, have romantic dinners, or cuddle too much in bed. 3. Don't get together too frequently. Space it out a little bit. Every 2 weeks? Probably so.
I know this video is two years old but what am I supposed to do if he gives me forehead kisses, when we are just having sex or when we just cuddle in bed
It appears that you aren't very comfortable with the FWB concept and believe it is normally the man initiating it. I've had 3 FWB relationships over the decades and two were clearly initiated by the woman. Both because they had just exited a crash and burn relationship and sought comfort and reassurance (plus sex) from someone they trusted. All are still friends and two are still on again off again FWBs. I care for all of them and wish them the best.....and yes they all know about each other.
Rather surprisingly, the results of a Kinsey study show that people seem to be more interested in finding love than finding lust. Out of a possible of five different types of relationships, more people wanted to find steady relationships over a fleeting fling. The survey showed that a friends-with-benefits arrangement is the least sought-after relationship for dating app users. Only 8.1 percent of respondents said they'd used an app to find a friends-with-benefits relationship, where there's "no romantic connection, but regular/frequent sex". And, 10 percent said they'd been swiping for one-night stands or hookups. Meanwhile, 15 percent of those surveyed said they used apps for long-term relationships and 14.9 percent said they'd been looking for short-term relationships, like a string of meetings or dates. And 11.5 percent have used dating apps for chatting and sexting with no real plan to meet up in person. Sounds a bit like breadcrumbing.
I’ve had several friends with benefits where we communicated what it was long beforehand and they STILL caught feelings and the whole thing falls apart.
I am new to this and would like FWB. Not interested in leaving my wife but the sex is just not there. can you offer any help with this. I am discreet and do not want to make any commitments right now but I do want the sex. I also that a FWB means the other person can have them as well and this fine with me. Safe sex would be used in any events that happen. Thanks for you comments.
Makes sence and very understandable. You have given good advice and thank you for that. I wold like to find someone like you. Have a great day and thanks for the information. @rayPay

Your a real gentleman, I firmly believe this is how FWB should be, this is a healthy way to go about it in my opinion.

Step one...be an attractive woman.

And, on the other side, an attractive, understanding man
