I’m not surprised the mini looks the best!! It’s one of my favorite patterns as well!! I am not a purple guy but that mini looks great man it really does. Awesome gifts from brother Randy too!! Love the Case Log. I need to buy one from him! You can also try just bending the linerlock to where it needs to be, i have done that with multiple moderns in the past. Thanks for sharing brother!!

That lock shouldn't fail. You were at 40-45% lockup. Most of my liner locks sit right there and never fail. Hope you get fixed up man. Glad you had fun at the Show and got to meet some cool members of the community!
Yea im going to send it in to them and they said they would take care of me. But yea my liner lock has always set at that position and one of the engineers that helped design the knife got a new one out of the display case and flipped it open to show us where the lock should set and it was day and night difference. He told me and my buddy both to send them back because they were wrong. But yea we had a blast. I highly recommend you go if youve never been to one. And bring the bank when you go. 🤣

From what I was told a liner lock should be about 30% because it will break in to about 50%. Didn't see were that was a problem but if the rep said send it back I'd go with that.

knife show old slipjoint knives are always over priced. I don't even go to shows because folders are the only thing you can get for good prices. Old Case stuff, like pre 70's is ridiculously priced
Spyderco won the Blade Magazine award at Blade Show for "Most Innovative American Design" with their Salt Paramilitary 2🤔 I honestly don't understand how a Paramilitary 2 which is a knife designs that's been around since 2010, with magnacut a blade steel that's been around for almost three years now can win this award🤷♂️ How the hell is it innovative to just change the blade steel on an existing knife design and slightly change the texturing of its handle🤔 So Blade Magazine is telling us that no other American production knife company or American custom knife make made any knife designs that were more innovative than the Spyderco Salt Paramilitary 2🤔 Giving the Spyderco Salt Paramilitary 2 this award is insulting to all American knife makers!!!!!
Yea i seen that knife win that award. Didn't know any specs of it because ive never had any spydercos but mam that does sound like an absolute slap in the face to all the other US makers. I bet the knife game is brutal for sure. Much respect to all the designers and makers of them knives.
