Mindy was my favorite. I think she was so natural because she didn't have previous training and I love her because she was there for all of us who didn't take ourselves too seriously. Who were passionate but loved having fun, who didn't fit the mold (whatever that's supposed to be) when it came to looks but that's okay because we have the best smiles and the best friends who we're always loyal too just like Natalie is
@@Mxyzptlksac Mindy had trouble wit hlaughing at her own lines. It was caught several times during this third season - her opening credit was one instance "....and wine!" during Tootie's drunk episode.
Tootie: how much trouble can one little baby be? Mrs. Garrett: having raised children, smiles with mischievous glee over what's in store for the teens...
Those girls were kids, and shouldn't have had to take care of someone else's baby, friend or not. Natalie had to study for a test. I wouldn't have known how to take care of a baby when I was a teen, I was just a kid...and I sure never had one in my teens.
To be fair, I don't think it would've been fair to leave all the responsibilities to Mrs Garrett. I do agree that Natalie had the right to not help when she had to study but the others could still cancel their plans to help out.

She definitely was a natural
@@raea3588 most of her training came from Kim Fields on set.
She wasn't an actress. Rae and the producers were at a boarding school soaking up local color. She spotted Cohen and introduced her to the producers.

@@kellymcfalls1458 That's your opinion. Now go away.
@@kellymcfalls1458 the show wouldn’t have lasted through 2 seasons if they kept the same cast.
My favorite part of this episode is when Alison calls Blair "Blairey-pie" and Blair calls her "Ali-kins".

Maybe Mrs. Garrett thought that if the girls saw how difficult it was to take care of a baby, they'd be less likely to "fool around" themselves.
You missed out on lots of babysitting money.

Did the baby try to plug Mrs. Garrett's nose?
So why does the husband get to go hang gliding?

That's the payphone.
This is why I am proud to be an Ace.
Plus I loathe babies with a flaming passion.
How can anyone hate a baby?
