As it turns out, I was right on the money with Overwatch League - it was announced just recently that though they want to continue to pursue eSports (sigh) they're gonna be going through a restructure and the teams are starting to bow out. Here's hoping they stop investing so much into the minute percentage and start investing in keeping their core audience happy.
Really interesting takes here! Adding in some more accessibility and directive for new players is a must at this point. I do think your changes are neat, but I'd love to see a change to Soujorn's movement skills which I think that's something that makes her unique. Gives her some double jumps and some boost that make her more hard to deal with.
Yes it is! Though I can't take all the credit, I have a great editor who helps make the visual magic. I write, record, and do audio editing for my dialogue, he does all the visuals and puts it all together at the end based on my instruction.
I noticed a flaw in the sojourn design if we are keeping the secondary fire then what button will you press to activate nanotechnology barrier on an Xbox or PlayStation? Also that would mean she has three abilities and two forms of shooting with an ult
I don't play on controller, but there are plenty of buttons to use. Lifeweaver at launch had three abilities and he functioned just fine in the game. But for a hypothetical controller layout R1 is Primary fire R2 is Alternate Fire A is Jump X is Ability 1 B is Ability 2 Y is Ability 3 L2 is Ultimate And you can reconfigure as needed
