Frank Zappa said that other than conducting an orchestra, singing barbershop was the most gratifying thing he had ever done. I can see the immediate pride four or five guys get from being so in sync. Just a btw, me reenacting the Uptown Girl video for my gramma is one of my most prized moments with her.

They probably didn't take the time to listen that far into it, therefore never hearing the song and thinking the video was just a phony. When really, them themselves were just impatient.
