    Got one of these uppers from Brownell’s that I run on my BCM lower. It’s quickly become my favorite AR. I plan to do a short for my channel soon.

      The 13.7/14.5 is such a great length for a fighting rifle and you lose a negligible amount for ballistic capabilities

      @@Timboslice475 100% but if you're really worried about the more improbable malfunctions that might require a fcd, the mk111 mod 1 has it. it's a really, really clean running rifle and if you're worried about running it in mud, just adjust the gas block. it'll send any ammo down range with enough gas.

    Quality review. My MK109 in 300BLK with a JP Silent Captured Spring shoots flatter and smoother than the H2. I’m considering getting a Surefire Warcomp but I’m not sure that that is better than Surefire’s Three Prong flash hider for my build.

    The dilemma I have is I just got my first suppressor. It’s a direct thread so I want to mount it and leave it on one rifle. I have numerous AR’s (all DI) except one that has a pws mk114 alpha upper. Is the pws the best choice to mount the suppressor to because of the adjustable gas and piston design?

    • @HuntFishShootChannel
      @HuntFishShootChannel  5 месяцев назад

      The adjustable piston design definitely lends itself to be more ideal for suppressor use

      Hmm that’s a tough one. The Q is considerable cheaper with nicer features and built very well. PWS has a reputation for building quality duty grade rifles. If I could only have one, I would choose the Q Sugar Weasel. For the money I think it’s a better rifle with more for the money.

    You said it has a pinned & welded muzzle device. Then you said it has gas setting in case I want to run a suppressor. How the hell does a person do that, with that stock rifle???

    • @HuntFishShootChannel
      @HuntFishShootChannel  7 месяцев назад +2

      Remove the stock muzzle device and replace it with one you can attach the suppressor of your choice with. There is actually a number of options you have at your disposal P/W isn’t quite as permanent as many people think

    • @MJ-km3qz
      @MJ-km3qz 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@HuntFishShootChannel wow! Thanks. I didn’t know it was so easy to legally remove a pinned and welded device for the average person. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I got some removing to do ;)

    • @HuntFishShootChannel
      @HuntFishShootChannel  7 месяцев назад +2

      @MJ-km3qz the biggest thing is that when you replace it or if you replace that device you use one of the same length and repin it. If you have mechanical knowledge or mechanically inclined it’s not all that hard. just remember to separate the upper and lower to do it and keep them separate until the upper is a legal length!
