What is funny about this episode is that they start it off talking about the Grinch. Leonard's mother is played by Christine Baranski. Christine Baranski is also the actress that plays Martha May Whovier, in the 2000 How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey.
Leonard mother is a horrible person and should not have been allowed to have children or take care of them. We were all thinking it, I'm just the one who wrote it.
You said you hadn’t seen The Grinch yet. Not sure which version you’re referring to (there are 3); but if it’s the Jim Carey version, pleeeaase do a reaction video to it. 🤗 I won’t spoil it by telling you why. You’ll know when you see it. 😉
@@jasonthayer1309 I prefer the original myself. But there is a specific reason for the Jim Carey request I made. But I can’t say it without spoiling it.
paige does not exist in the tbbt world - trying to connect them together is futile - tbbt has nothing to do with young sheldon - sheldon never had a friend named paige or tam -
Really? That makes you think Sheldon wouldn't? He's shown lowkey racist tendancies over the course of the series. I could very well see him being convinced that excluding muggleborn wizards to protect the community is "just sensible"
Beverly hopstatter is correct in not acknowledging Leonard's effort. Leonard drove out of familial obligation. Sheldon however made her a priority on his itinerary. And clearly Leonard doesn't communicate consistently with his family enough to be up to date on their lives.
Eh... really? Leonard says many things in the episode showing that he wants to know about his family but that his mother tells Sheldon rather than him. I'm much more of the belief that Beverly likes Sheldon more because Sheldon is the type of son that she wishes she had, whereas Leonard has always been a disappointment and unimportant to her.

I did not realize that. Thanks for sharing. :)
Also, there is a christmas musical with her and Dolly Parton.I think its in Netflix. Kind of the ghosts of scrooge version.
Also not this episode but in season 11, raj and Leonard mentions seeing mamma Mia 2, when Christine baranski is a main character in both
I do love their christmas episodes, but agreed on never outdoing nimoy and sheldon hug lol.
"Why didn't you tell me you were tapping my home girl?"
😂
Hilarious.
Drunk Beverly us basically Tanya from Mamma Mia 😅 worth a watch if you haven't seen it
Beverly is the best!! Christine Baranski, you are simply magnificent!
I love your reactions to these. It’s like seeing them for the first time all over again. Thanks !
Better tip extra for that Beverly 🤣😂😂
I love Beverly and is always happy when she visits!
Sarcasm?
@@hallofguns8174 No sarcasm sign
Her episodes are so hilarious
Merry Newton-mes!!!
4:32 Say what again? 😂
3:58 it’s scenes like this that make you really glad to have been born into a family who loves and cares about you.
I love you your interpretation of Mom's face at 8:15 lol

She isn't a horrible person, this episode shows she cares for Leonard, sge just doesn't know how to express it.
@@olavihekandjo2928 And I would argue that a lack of ability to care for children is a good reason not to have them.
i never thought that -
The episodes with Beverly are the best. I laugh a lot in those episodes. 💯😂
Don't think Sheldon roots for Voldemort, but probably was disappointed with Snape.

I prefer the Chuck Jones. Benedict Cumberbatch was great too.

Sheldon is an empire guy in the star wars world.
I'd love to see you react to the Jim Carey Grinch movie
9:11 yeah it’s Leonard since ya don’t care enough about your son lady.
maybe beverly is more like raj and sheldon that she removes her inhibitions of being quirky non robotic personality with alchohol
...almost as if alcohol is known to reduce inhabitions
If Beverly was not his first kiss, then it was for sure Paige Swanson
Who?
nope and also delete this comment
@@hallofguns8174 That is a Character on Young Sheldon. When Sheldon lived in Texas
@@andresvargasch.8771 Oh, I have not seen a lot of Yong Sheldon. Thanks.

Also, sheldon saying he isn't happy about Leonard being his surrogate family is ike an actual family which most don't get to choose
🐕 ☹
FYI , Beverly and Sheldon Will go a long a way XD.
Jesus was born in the summer.
Voldemort is a white nationalist metaphorically. I don't think sheldon would.

@@KaiLucasZachary if bev was sheldon's mother - sheldon would have never survived childhood - leonard is a stronger person than sheldon -
