How is it possible for a band to be this solid.
Lots and lots of practice.
I bet they are very dedicated and practice nonstop. no matter what style they are working in, the musicianship and technicality this band has is untouchable right now
synergy, talent, psychoactive substances
Tripping together always improve creativity and bonds significantly.
This is all they do. This is their entire life, they don't really take breaks. If they aren't touring they are making an album, if they aren't making an album they are touring. Very commonly they write on tour and record off tour. There is also 7 of them (and they are all talented) so there is tons of ideas to be constantly added a song and it makes song writing so much easier when you are with people who think differently but are in the same mindset and skill level.
Damn, this live version is so much better than the studio because of Ambrose vocal and Joey guitar solo.

No the sound is worse. I don't get why people are so crazy about live versions...studio sound is better 99% of the time. Only if live version is played with more energy then the music might be better. Concert is for the experience. Record is for the sound

The only time I saw them coming to NZ...that weekend I couldn't travel do Dauckland...and I just got my passport renewed so I could travel...used to follow their website but they don't seem to play live much. But I would go

I never find comments giving Lucas some love, i think he's a very low key guy but c'mon this bassline, might be repetitive, but it's sooooo smooth!
There's so much going on it's hard at first to pay attention to the bassline. But yes, Lucas always nails it.

Why repetitive alwas have to be something bad ? The repetition its very important in music, its the reason because we remember songs, and we keep inside us the rythim.

Btw, I think they should give Ambrose a little more vocal leadership, from time to time, I don't know if anyone agrees with me... 'cause he certainly has some really powerful voice; or I really like it a lot, at least.
Andrés Ríos If you like Amby’s vocals, just listen to The Murlocs. I think his place in Gizz in fine where it is, powerful backup vocals.

I actually try to listen to all of their side projects. But, although all of those projects always are very good and include excellent songs, I like them better all together on King Gizzard, 'cause, at least to me, sounds a bit better. Tougher, and full of energy.

Yeah Cavs and Eric are some of the tightest and fastest drummers I've seen. I tried learning lord of lightning by these guys and I have concluded that both drummers could arm wrestle a bear if they wanted
