For bonus points, Luke screams "no!" when Obi-Wan dies, Vader sometimes screams "no!" depending on which version of Jedi you watch, and I screamed "no" through most of Episode 2.
Chick Dude In a New Hope Luke screams "No!" When he saw obi wan die C3po loses an arm and gets it repaired by Luke Princess Leia got captured then escaped The choke scene in a new hope was Darth Vader choking an imperial general Obi wan lied to Luke about his father being killed by Vader
The Rule of two is LITERALLY the foundation of the sith. It's not a friendship, if the master kills the learner, the learner was to weak, and if the learner kills the master, he is now the master. Vader was still the best pilot, maybe even after Yavin, Vader and Luke didn't go 1on1, Lukes only task was to take out the death star with the force.
Rule of Two was Darth Banes doing.. There was actually a group of Sith called The Brotherhood of darkness who had a Sith School, buuuuut Bane killed them all. err... tricked them into killing themselves
2:54 I don't think that they were going for "all black people are slaves" idea. And besides, if john boyegga had a problem with it he wouldn't take the role
But James Earl Jones was the perfect voice for Darth Vader. Because the original actor for Darth Vader couldn't make up medicine voice. It wasn't symbolism it's more of a coincidental.
They cast James Earl Jones because they wanted a booming voice and Sam Elliot wasn't around back then, if Solo had been black you'd complain he was a scoundrel, and if Rey were black instead if Finn you would complain about no parents or something. The race bit is a bit of a stretch. I guess Poe could have been black? idk

I don't think the films are intentionally discriminating against black people because they cast black people in certain roles. Do you honestly find it offensive?
Ease up m8 he can take offence to what he likes its not up to us, I was just curious if he honestly felt that way because, your right, it seems ridiculous to me but i'm not black so idk.
You can add A New Hope to these examples In a New Hope Luke screams "No!" When he saw obi wan die C3po loses an arm and gets it repaired by Luke Princess Leia got captured then escaped The choke scene in a new hope was Darth Vader choking an imperial general Obi wan lied to Luke about his father being killed by Vader
Problem with reason 10, Mace Windu (played by Samuel L. Jackson) is the 2nd strongest Jedi and 1 of the leaders of the council. And Baal Organa is a politically powerful Senator and leader of an entire planet (played by Jimmy Smits who is of Hispanic descent). Lando becomes one of the main leaders in the rebel alliance and is even responsible for destroying the second Death Star (played by Billy D. Williams). Just to name a few.
GeeZeRFroG it's sarcastic, however, although I like Mace, he had a lot of dark side in him. He didn't want to give the Chancellor a trial which made the Jedi hypocritical by playing judge, jury and executioner. And take it from a black guy who once wore a Luke Skywalker costume...it's sort of lowkey racist how everyone assumed I was Mace Windu...so there's that angle as well (which I don't think is intentional by the costume designers)
Mace is tempted by the Dark Side because he's a human. Remember those Grey Jedi Qui-Gon theories? Remember how attached Obi-Wan was to Anakin in? Watch it happen to Rey too in VIII.
"Finn has been a slave his whole life and that's like saying that all black people are slaves" "Anakin was white before he was Darth Vader and as soon as he turned to the dark side they cast a black guy. They're basically saying all dark people turn to the dark side." lol wat
This my list worst to best 8. Attack Of The Clones 7. The Phantom Mence 6. Revenge Of The Sith 5. Return Of The Jedi 4. A New Hope 3. Empire Strikes Back 2. Rogue One 1. The Force Awakens
You forgot to add that Darth Maul also survived his fall on Naboo and came back in Star Wars: The Clone Wars(2008) and Star Wars Rebels, which are both Canon.
Like I say all the time....Episode 1-6 are all fine, but the sequels are a bad influence. Solo and Rogue One we’re both okay though. Last Jedi sucked...Hope Episode 9 is not the same.
I know some people won't count Rogue One but that movie is an example of a Star Wars movie where John Williams isn't the composer. He's also quitting Star Wars so our best bet for a future Star Wars movie is someone like Howard Shore (Tolkien movies), Patrick Doyle (like John Williams, he also composed for Harry Potter), or even Nobou Uematsu (Final Fantasy). August 27, 2019
Here's two Similarities of episode 8 and the empire strikes back 1. Since Luke is like the Yoda character now I'm going to say the young Luke character goes to some place where the Yoda character is at exile at. 2. The person get's his/her hand cut off.
that Vader scene in "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" where he learns that Padme dies n he screams "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" gets me laughing every single time... it's just so fuckin' funny lol
These things are like ingredients in a recipe. If Lucas film/Disney want to make several Star Wars pies, they gotta use most of the same ingredients each time. LOL
They are all the same in which they always have a plane war and have to explode something at the end meanwhile the Jedi and Sith are fighting on the ground.
And people still like disney canon there´s a reason why George wanted to prevent reboots in Star Wars, it´ll expose the similarities between the movies.
I know I might get attacked for this but can you be more precise with which ones you use in the video? This should be called "Why Episodes 1, 2, 5, and 7 are the same" instead.
so does this mean the original trilogy and prequel trilogy rehashed the new hope before TFA rehashed it?!?!?!?!? IM STARTING TO QUESTION EVERYTHING I KNOW
Darth Vader's ghost isn't haunting Kylo Ren, Kylo Ren is just following what Vader was originally was trying to do, but Vader turned good last second so it wouldn't be Vader's ghost telling Kylo to do bad shit. Learn some Star Wars fool
Way to go Champ my theory is a character could force ghost but so can their alter egos. Darth Vader and Anakin aren't the same guy technically, but the video is sarcastic (theory is my real opinion though)
Way to go Champ the term "ghost" doesn't have to be taken literally, too. It can also be interpreted as the residual influence that a dead person has on the future
Star Wars Movies; (8 Worst, 1 Great) 8. Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) 7. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) 6. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) 5. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015) 4. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) 3. Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) 2. Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) 1. Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
All reasons were fairly weakly roped together tbh.. but reason 22 is nonsense, redeemed Anakin would not lead astray his grandson; his grandson just has some crazy "i must live up to" issues
Or "I like power and my dead grandpa just happens to be one of the most powerful persons in the galaxy's history and since my parents are always out there doing their own stuff why the hell not" issues
In my opinion, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) are both so many times way better than both Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017).
Probably the best pun I've ever heard. "So did Han solo as a father since he left Ben "SOLO".
Reason 25 "I have a bad feeling about this"
No feelings were harmed in the making of this movie.
Reason 26 Wilhelm scream.
Reason 27: C-3PO appears.
CinemaSins:
2:52 That's racist *Ding*
8:05 "NOOOOOO!!!" No. *Ding*
margareth michelina lmao
For bonus points, Luke screams "no!" when Obi-Wan dies, Vader sometimes screams "no!" depending on which version of Jedi you watch, and I screamed "no" through most of Episode 2.
You forgot about "I have a bad feeling about this' and the Wilhelm scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* picks 4 of the movies
How ALL star wars movies are the same!!!
Chick Dude
In a New Hope Luke screams "No!" When he saw obi wan die
C3po loses an arm and gets it repaired by Luke
Princess Leia got captured then escaped
The choke scene in a new hope was Darth Vader choking an imperial general
Obi wan lied to Luke about his father being killed by Vader
Chick Dude idiot
Lettisha Samaroo How is he an idiot. It only showed how 4 of the movies are nitpicky the same.
how long do you want the fkin title to be?
DefinitelyNOTJordan "24 reasons why all Star Wars movies are the same"
The Rule of two is LITERALLY the foundation of the sith. It's not a friendship, if the master kills the learner, the learner was to weak, and if the learner kills the master, he is now the master.
Vader was still the best pilot, maybe even after Yavin, Vader and Luke didn't go 1on1, Lukes only task was to take out the death star with the force.
The rule of two is kinda dumb, it's very cool, but kinda dumb
So it's Hidden Fortress you're talking about? Lucas is a sellout just like Michael Bay!
Rule of Two was Darth Banes doing.. There was actually a group of Sith called The Brotherhood of darkness who had a Sith School, buuuuut Bane killed them all.
err... tricked them into killing themselves
Yeah bane was pretty sith.
Kenneth Fender they had rule of 2 to stay hidden
25. "I have a bad feeling about this"
#10 "Yes!" *standing ovation*
#24 *lmao*
2:54 I don't think that they were going for "all black people are slaves" idea. And besides, if john boyegga had a problem with it he wouldn't take the role
YAY! You listened to me! I'm so happy right now
justanotherchannelonyoutube 👍🏾
You made me watch the "No I'm your father" scene from Empire. YOU MADE ME DAMN IT
But James Earl Jones was the perfect voice for Darth Vader. Because the original actor for Darth Vader couldn't make up medicine voice. It wasn't symbolism it's more of a coincidental.
Does anyone else believes Ewan McGregor had the best Nooooooooooo?
VidMasterMonitor04 Luke's was the best. His voice cracked and it was full of youth. He sounds like he was legitimately upppppsettttt and horrified
NOOOOOOOOOO
Ewan’s was eargasmic
They cast James Earl Jones because they wanted a booming voice and Sam Elliot wasn't around back then, if Solo had been black you'd complain he was a scoundrel, and if Rey were black instead if Finn you would complain about no parents or something. I don't think the films are intentionally discriminating against black people because they cast black people in certain roles. Do you honestly find it offensive?
Done 👍
The real question is...do you find it offensive?!
Ease up m8 he can take offence to what he likes its not up to us, I was just curious if he honestly felt that way because, your right, it seems ridiculous to me but i'm not black so idk.
Couch Tomato You forgot about C-3PO and R2-D2 in every movie including Rogue One
The "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" is strong in this one.
One more thing you missed
Wilhelm Scream
What are you most looking forward to in Star Wars: Rogue One? (Let me know below)
Couch Tomato I'm looking forward to seeing Darth Vader as a badass again!
Couch Tomato Darth Vader being a badass and the android companion being my favorite of the team.
a darker look at the star wars universe
I'm just hoping that it's going to be a good movie regardless of what the critics say.
How could you not mention the line in each movie "I have a really bad feeling about this"?
Great video, but the title is a bit misleading since you only compared 4/7 movies
It's like poetry, sort of; they rhyme.
You can add A New Hope to these examples
In a New Hope Luke screams "No!" When he saw obi wan die
C3po loses an arm and gets it repaired by Luke
Princess Leia got captured then escaped
The choke scene in a new hope was Darth Vader choking an imperial general
Obi wan lied to Luke about his father being killed by Vader
I really enjoy watching your channel and your interaction with the viewers. Keep up the amazing videos.
Problem with reason 10, Mace Windu (played by Samuel L. Jackson) is the 2nd strongest Jedi and 1 of the leaders of the council. Exactly
I know its sarcastic. I was just being satirical. Also Mace uses the dark side because of the race of being he is...OMG YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!!
Mace is tempted by the Dark Side because he's a human. Remember those Grey Jedi Qui-Gon theories? Remember how attached Obi-Wan was to Anakin in? Watch it happen to Rey too in VIII.
Mace is part of the Haruun Kal a people which have the darkside connected to them at their core. They can never fully purge it from themselves.
"Finn has been a slave his whole life and that's like saying that all black people are slaves"
"Anakin was white before he was Darth Vader and as soon as he turned to the dark side they cast a black guy. They're basically saying all dark people turn to the dark side."
lol wat
14. The rule of two is part of the Sith code and breaking it would cause severe punishment from their master
17. Luke was never said to be the best pilot in the galaxy. That title was given to Han, who is a far superior pilot.
TranZit
Father Gascoigne
Get out. Go.
This my list worst to best 8. Attack Of The Clones 7. The Phantom Mence 6. Revenge Of The Sith 5. Return Of The Jedi 4. A New Hope 3. Empire Strikes Back 2. Rogue One 1. The Force Awakens
i'm coming right back here right after I watch Rogue One
I just watched Rogue one and I'm still not sure if it was my first or second viewing. Every SW is about death stars.
Invites dad over for a funeral lmao
all the NOOOOO scenes in a row gave me chills omfg
why did you only do the odd numbered movies?
You forgot to add that Darth Maul also survived his fall on Naboo and came back in Star Wars: The Clone Wars(2008) and Star Wars Rebels, which are both Canon.
A lot of "...all the same" videos that we as fans know well enough to compare and contrast.
Would we watch if life threw us curves?
it probably is a product of lazy writing but to play Devil's Advocate the theme of history repeating itself is quite poetic
"All Star Wars Movies" aka. 4/7.
You mean 4/11, soon to be 4/12
the force awakens has the same story as star wars (not a new hope that title sucks) but applies a different context
Where's the other 3 movies?
The Vader noooooooooooooo is the best no
Great video, but #7 and #9 are literally the exact same point.
You forgot when somebody falls down 2000 stories
Why do you say rey have bb 8 is poe have bb 8
Rank all the Star Wars films from first to worst below!
1. V
2. IV
3. VII
4. VI
5. III
6. II
7. I
Quality? I see: V, IV, III, VI, II, I. (I HATE VII and don't like the Disney movies so no thanks)
Double F Should be III, I, II. The cringeworthy 'romance' in II was the worst thing ever associated with Star Wars.
To each their own?
best- TESB, ANH, ROTJ, TFA, ROTS, TPM, AOTC- worst
good job couch tomato
Digimon matser64 the real king thanks
Han Solo was there for Ben till he went to the dark side
Im not entirely sure 10 is right. The directing is just awful.
Padme amidala didn't lie about her identity, she had a decoy to protect her.
Like I say all the time....Episode 1-6 are all fine, but the sequels are a bad influence. Solo and Rogue One we’re both okay though. Last Jedi sucked...Hope Episode 9 is not the same.
Shouldn't this be titled 24 reasons every other star wars movie is the same since the video ommits episodes 2, 4 & 6.
Darren Moxam only 4 videos could fit on the screen which is why I reference the other movies in the voiceover without the visuals
#6 makes sense considering they needed to train Luke and Rey.
Here's two Similarities of episode 8 and the empire strikes back 1. Since Luke is like the Yoda character now I'm going to say the young Luke character goes to some place where the Yoda character is at exile at. 2. The person get's his/her hand cut off.
#24 was my favorite. Hahaha thanks for pointing that out. I never noticed it before. Some fan I am...haha
that Vader scene in "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" where he learns that Padme dies n he screams "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" gets me laughing every single time... it's just so fuckin' funny lol
Every movie opens with a ship blowing up
In ESB, there is no _ship_ blowing up in the first scene. But you could make an argument about the satellite.
Was luving the vid till you called star wars racist
It's like poetry, so that they rhyme
Yeah, hopefully it'll work.
Man the Skywalker family really affect the galaxy more than anyone including the old republic
So- wait, let me get this straight. In Episode 6, Anakin is a Jedi ghost mentor dude at the end f the movie, but then, he helps Kylo Ren.
What?
You should have written an apostrophe between the L and S letters in the fifteenth reason. --- I loved the twenty-fourth reason. Fantastic!
These things are like ingredients in a recipe. If Lucas film/Disney want to make several Star Wars pies, they gotta use most of the same ingredients each time. LOL
"Luke became the best fighter pilot in the galaxy" Bitch please! Wedge Antillies!
all these movie comparisons but doesn't have a secret life of pets as a copy of toy story
Reason 10 what the actual fuck
What is meant by all the movies being the same is that all of the movies have the same formula.
At 7:10 my second favorite part.
6:04 “he is the chosen one...”
he actually did bring balance to the force... he left 2 Jedi and 2 sith.
You missed episode 2, 4 and 6.
They are all the same in which they always have a plane war and have to explode something at the end meanwhile the Jedi and Sith are fighting on the ground.
That die hard trilogy reference was sick!
I guess I'd be yelling "No" as well if something similar would happen to me or people I know.
And people still like disney canon there´s a reason why George wanted to prevent reboots in Star Wars, it´ll expose the similarities between the movies.
2 there should be. No more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it.
Im gonna debunk the opening crawl one. Rouge one didn't have an opening crawl
maybe do "Why Equestria Girls 1-4 are the same or different" cause i can see some scenes in them r the same way
do it for transformers
You forgot one: "I have a bad feeling about this."
I know I might get attacked for this but can you be more precise with which ones you use in the video? This should be called "Why Episodes 1, 2, 5, and 7 are the same" instead.
What about; "I have a bad feeling about this"
This is a formula on how _anyone_ can create their own Star Wars saga!
what about Windu? Stop making everything racist...Windu is the most badass jedi....or Lando? He ran a city!
EveryPixelCounts Then lost it in the same movie he first appeared.
LOL!! I got the Rogue One Advertise during the start
Reason 25: Wilhelm Scream
I have a bad feeling about this.
You forgot that
so does this mean the original trilogy and prequel trilogy rehashed the new hope before TFA rehashed it?!?!?!?!? IM STARTING TO QUESTION EVERYTHING I KNOW
At 6:59 qui gon is making a trump bing bong motion
Come on man. This is too easy for you. You do much better otherwise finding random movies we never thought were the same...
1:01 one of them is not like the other, and is worse than the other three
It's 2018 and the Solo movie didn't have an opening crawl
what about return of the jedi, attack of the clones, a new hope
I don't count Episode VII, but I just a Legends Guy.
i would have used ANH, ROTJ, TPM, and TFA.
Couch Tomato
interesting concept but I've never seen them as alter egos, but I can respect your opinion
Way to go Champ the term "ghost" doesn't have to be taken literally, too. It can also be interpreted as the residual influence that a dead person has on the future
more like, "24 Reasons 4 given starwars movies might share a plot point"
Star Wars Movies; (8 Worst, 1 Great)
8. Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
7. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
6. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
5. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
4. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
3. Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)
2. Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
You see the echo of where it's gonna go -- once again, it's like poetry, sort of, they rhyme [winces] hopefully it'll work...
vader's noooooo is the best one
spoiler alert
reus not a skywalker
In my opinion, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) are both so many times way better than both Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017).
Hated Episode VII, made me tense up when you talked about it XD
