Suri's voice got so annoying.
Siri
+Account Two Ah yes you're right. Thank you.
i know i couldnt even finish the video
+Jeff Anderson Especially when she messes the numbers up
Siri
"Aunt May has a nip slip" Didn't need to know that.
Thank you thank you.
+Slade Hazard to be fair, I spent years thinking it was a nipple, but after getting the blu ray, it could be a shadow. see for yourself, I rather not find out
+2nd3rd1st That doesn't mean that we want to look at them when watching a movie.
^^^
@@2nd3rd1st okay. I accept it.
I wouldn't call Batman an origin movie, he is already Batman
+nudl3Zz batman begins is though
+nudl3Zz I guess he reffers to Joker Nicholson's origin.
Aitor Molina but the movie is called Batman^^ I wouldn't call it a joker origin movie even if his origins are in the movie
+nudl3Zz But the movie was more about Joker than Batman himself....
jinxfire Not really and it's still called "Batman"
Except deadpool my friend... Except deadpool #chimichangas
Lol, I wrote this episode before Deadpool came out and had to release before it was too late
Punisher
+Couch Tomato haha I thought so. Good quality video nonetheless!
Well, to be the naysayer, Deadpool isn't technically an origin movie so much as a movie that depicts his origins via flashbacks.
its not really a origin movie
Couch Tomato, you forgot one thing about Comic Book Movies , The villain always dies
The surprising fact here is that Superman was made at the end of the '70's, and Batman at the end of the '80's. Basically these people have had no new ideas for 40 years now
If you change Batman (1989) with Batman Begins, the only difference is point number 15
That MA thing is serious. Great find.
+LAnimeMaster thanks
+Couch Tomato really wanted to watch the vid. but that voice was a bad idea.
A lot of superheros were bullied before getting their super powers. And then fight those bullies after they get their powers.
I'm finding a fair number of these Reasons don't apply to Thor, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, or Captain America:the First Avenger (just to name a few).
And "Deadpool"
+Jake Lapp Indeed.
+Nathan Flannery and Batman Begins, but the reasons are always a bit forced.
+Jake Lapp deadpool isn't a superhero
God, theif, superhero group of ex criminals (suicide squad) and capt did follow most of the rules.
Batman wasn't origin, at the beginning he was already Batman.
+Alex Bernal Batman is a Joker origin story...all of the late 80s and 90s had origin stories for villains instead of heroes
Ah, alright.
@@CouchTfilms but that's not a batman origin story that's a joker origin story about a super-villain which is EXTREMELY different from that of a superhero. Even though they're all origin stories doesn't mean they're bad or that they're similar.
It does have a flashback scene
Dang I was just about to ask for 24 reasons all 5 spiderman movies are the same.
+Riley Riley #1. They all star Spiderman.
+Riley Riley #2. They're all bad
+Proteus *Opinion.
SteveDoidoUltimate The OP asked for reasons, not facts. Reasons are subjective just like opinions. So your reply is the the equivalent of saying "it is what it is", or in other words, pointless. Go shitpost copypasta on PewDiePie's channel.
Mike Barr triggered? Please, I'm a meninist.
Flash bullying Peter is counted as an assassination attempt?
yea
Thor is probably the only superhero film where both of the hero's parents are alive (excluding the sequel where the mother dies).
+Jeff Anderson only because they're almost immortal
+Jeff Anderson Hey what about Loki Dying.
+Blondie "TheBandit025" Silverwood
I said the hero's PARENTS don't die. Loki is not Thor's parent.
Mistake 1: "Batman" wasn't an Origin Movie. "Batman Begins" was though.
Batman was an origin movie for Joker -- the only origin movie for Joker in the cinematic universe...this is awkward
Actually they do highlight the origin. You learn why he is Batman. Ok they don't go as deep as Batman begins but still.
+spideyfan2002 it was nominated for best sound and best visual effects in 2003
+spideyfan2002 I read your user name as part of the comment and thought you meant "Spider-Man 2002" didn't get an Oscar nomination....the video says "art direction or best visual effects" to factor in all movies
+spideyfan2002 batman begins isn't in this video though
I think we should compare James Cameron's "Avatar" to Hiyao Miyazaki's "Princess Mononoke." They're pretty much the same movie.
+Colin Velius Avatar is basically Pocahontas in space. Compare those two instead.
+Colin Velius Avatar is Ferngully
+Sabrina The Challenger And Pocahontas, and Dances with Wolves, and The Last Samurai...
#8. He called the Martha scene from BVS. Dead.
Before the movie came out!!
Couch Tomato What's The App You have at 0:02 ?
kanimusic2 she
Good list although I wish you would had shown Nolan Batman instead of Burton because It really shows the real origin but I DO love Burton 1989 Batman movie classic
Aaahh, Aunt May's nip slip! My eyes! I never noticed that! Mary Jane though, seriously, I think they did that on purpose.Really cool how you put the four clips together with color vs. black and white. Very clever! And wow, yep so many similarities between these movies! Great job!
number 8 is the reason why i love this channel so much. like who notices this stuff lol XD. keep it up dude.
+leronne clemencia thanks! I've been paying attention to the little details since I was a toddler
The first reason is, literally, that they're all Good.
What about Guardians of the Galaxy? Pretty sure that rules out a good chunk of these.
+Yoshino don't take the title literal. RUclips allows me to type all rather than Batman, Superman, Iron Man, & Spider-Man Are The Same Movie...character limits
1:21
That scene in Superman was in Bvs:Doj
You should do why Man from Uncle and Mission Impossible 5 are the same;
Team of agents have to go against the grain to stop an organisation whilst working with a woman who works for the bad guy but is actually working for the British Secret Service.
You totally turned on my "Hey Siri" LOL
+TWF Solutions lol, sorry
Lol, your voice activated my Siri on my phone 😂
I have a question for the viewers: How much longer will the Marvel cinimatic universe go on?
This was awesome.make more of these couch!
Couch Tomato, Love the work but is the numbering intentionally off? Starting at 3:12 it is completely off. Like the numbers dont match and you even skip "reasons".
When you said hey Siri it activated mine lol
+AndoyBokchoy lmbo!
At the beginning my Siri opened lol
"amen, u better preach it " ! lol lol
Love this!
Thanks bro!
+Say Goodnight Kevin Me too
"Groundhog Day" is still a better movie than comic book hero movie ;)
KIND OF
+What Is Your Worldview? - Creation or Evolutionism? not Blade
Always love how you never cross the line of being too picky
Wow, great video Couch, keep it up, proud of you.
#8 = I am truly startled by that factor. Great observation!
#15 = Ha! Ha! Funny!
#17 = I'm sure someone has mentioned it, but Siri said "Reason Number 16" instead of correct number.
At 00:00, where you referring to Billy Dee Williams, AKA Lando Calrissian, AKA Harvey Dent?
Agree with reasons for most comic-book film, except my favorite "watchman"
When The Force Awakens comes out on dvd, you should list reasons why that and A New Hope are the same movie. Heck, maybe make it a three way and include The Phantom Menace if possible. lol
Wow, I didn't know about the nip slip Aunt May. RUINED.
+Alex Loupe yeah can never unsee that.
WHAT ABOUT DAREDEVIL, XMEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE?
I could have went my whole not knowing they're was a Aunt May Nipslip
I now have my proof that comic book movies (at least the first in each franchise) are all the same and that I'm sick of comic book movies. Can we just take a break for a few years? I don't think Disney is even waiting a year anymore for new marvel movies.
Just found out Siri miscounted from Number 14-20. Autocorrect! ding!
Drink game: drink every time he says "comic book origin movies"
Even movies with an ensemble cast are similar... "The League of the Extraordinary Gentlemen" and "The Avengers" are reeeeaalllly similar...
Fail! Guardians of The Galaxy doesn't work with your list.
Sweet Christmas! All those reasons are true! You've nailed it!
Seriously, you sir are pure genius!
Parker as Spidey's sidekick is a bit of a stretch, but the rest is all too true!
+David Bourne I throw in sarcasm so no one takes me too serious...it rarely works.
*siri voice* also reason 25, they all take place somewhere in a big western city/area for the majority of the film. seriously dude, why can't there be more heroes that travel overseas like supes, iron man and captain America to save those suffering from warlords and such?
Because they all have to come back and save New York in the end.
Meh
Brilliant as usual!
1:20 Oh god I had never noticed that!! Why do you do this to me, man?!?!?!
Lol. Whoelse loved that kickass intro??👍
+4ortKnox thanks
Best video, yet, this is pretty awesome.
I must be the only one to notice Danny Elfman scored the 'Batman' and 'Spider-Man' movies.
'Back To The Future Part 3' was released in 1990.
so I was watching the same movie all ALONG! Damnit!
So true, I'll still watch them all.
Just a heads up yo, your numbers and voice for reasons got all jacked up at like 14/15
Great video if siri's numbering wasn't off by 1 the whole time lol
+Leon Wright siri autocorrected #14-20...iphones aren't perfect
Going to re-watch Aunt May after the Green Goblin attack...... I'll be back in 40 seconds
This is incredible!!
I love Madagascar:Escape 2 Africa (2008), it really defines 2008 for me.
Not all comic book movie origins are the same but some like these work well cause they support the main character at their core
Awesome video I liked how it was a bit different. :)
+Shawn Kramer thanks!
Was that jahovaswitniss' bruh at 0:48?
In the first 120 views....all I wanted was to be early to a supermarioglitchy4 video but I end up being early to other channels. xD
Anyways I predict tons of comments about Siri miscounting during the later half of the video. lol
24 reasons all movies are the same
All these 24 reasons are in Fantastic Four (2005)
i love your work, but siri got her numbers jacked up
Can you do 24 reasons the storm of the century & the mist is the same
Awesome Video 👍
You said they all had a black guy from the Star Wars movies
Iron Man -
Samuel L. Jackson: Mace Windu
Batman -
Billy Dee Williams: Lando Calrissian
But who was it in Superman & Spider-Man? I'm superman, was it that guy who was yelling about superman and he used that cape thing and said exactly what Superman did when he landed? If it is him, then Spider-Man is the only one.
3:27 Siri says "reason number sixteen," but the video shows 17. It's a minor one, but was enough to make me stray.
What editing software do you use?
#TeamCap or #TeamIronMan ?
We conclude that all superhero films are the brave guys with their instinct identities and they're hear to save the day for good and responsibility.
Mr Tomato. I know you didn't seem to pick your favorite superhero film, but be honest. What is your favorite superhero film that you enjoy the most?
My favorite superhero film of all time is "Batman." The 1989 version is more better dark superhero film than others. I grew up watching this film until I reach for my age and it still holds up. I would say that Michael Keaton is the best original Batman character right near to Kevin Conroy Batman. More stronger than hockey Christian Bale Batman or New Ben Affleck Batman. I always love "Batman."
+Felipe Rico
The Tim Burton series (pair, really) gets overlooked for lack of high-speed action, but when you watch them more you can really appreciate the character acting and the depth behind the superficial visuals. It's a shame the public wanted a more childish replacement at the time. Though, really, without Joel Schumacher I wouldn't have an "A" budget action movie that would compare in stupidity and camp to Die Another Day... itself the pinnacle of excess of every fault in the Bond series (though Thunderball has heavy claim to that title as well).
+Andrew Tadsen Not necessary. The original Batman (1989) became the first comic book that it is more adult and it is more darker like "Frank Millar's The Dark Knight Series." Michael Keaton's portrayal as Batman is more interesting and he did a great job to become a heart felt character that he kept his patience, he is smart, he seeks his pain for his dark times of loosing his parents, and he cares about Gotham that we always like him. Danny Elfman's theme will always be memorable for hearing that tune. Nicholson's portrayal as Joker is memorable and he's having a lot of fun to play a psychotic villain who wants the Gotham to be poison from the factory which literally turned into a insane criminal. The action scenes were not that good and some were done it with pratical effects, but the mood, the style, the dark imagery is fascinating to see in the big screen. Tim Burton made his film memorable as well it is promising deal for Warner Bros until times it wasn't that great. Not much like the weak campy site of Schumacher's Batman, but we all enjoy the 1989 version of Batman and so do I. It's more adult and one of the best Batman films I had seen.
Felipe Rico
Lots of viewers care more about the visuals, and apparently the Heath Ledger "anarchy Joker" portrayal is extremely popular (not with me, personally- the Joker barely had any screen time in The Dark Knight, and Gotham as a whole was never in any real danger). But I am not aware of any aspect of the Tim Burton movies that has become a joke in the way that Christian Bale's performance has :) . Michael Keaton's Batman actually had some depth, and his Bruce Wayne wasn't the annoying, shallow, playboy character of Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne. Commissioner Gordon in the Christopher Nolan series was far more on point- a character that didn't survive the 1930's stereotypes of the Tim Burton films.
This video was refreshing
deadpool origin breakes the rules
I wouldn't call a high school fight a "outside assasination."
it totally is, though
Anyone else get super distracted by the fact that Siri and Couch Tomato are not synced up starting at reason #15? (They are back by reason #22.)
+Austin Fathman stupid autocorrect
+Couch Tomato I prefer autoincorrect :)
Austin Fathman apologies in advance, but I'm totally stealing this joke! If you didn't make it up, don't say anything -- you'll ruin the moment
deadpool doesn't follow this order, not every comic book origin is the same
Can you made "Avatar and The Last Samourai are the same movie" please ?
well at least the deadpool movie doesn't fit into all of these, especially that "love interest cliff hanger" most definitely not.
at 1:59, WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME
This was kind of loose like I don't think being bullied counts as attempted assassination
Do 24 reasons
Punisher War Zone and
Batman 1989 are the same movie
And this is why 1989 Batman is easily the best origin movie: it's not an origin, as Bruce is already Batman. It's also, IMO, the best movie of all time as well.
+Tommy Carr movie is way ahead of it's time! (you could argue it's a Joker origin story)
24 reasons all James Bond movies are the same
Maybe he could just do one from each bond or something. That would be interesting, but really hard to do.
Hey couch do all ben affleck movie are the same
Any reason for the Siri voiceover? I don't mind it at all, just curious.
+TailAbNormal I recorded this awhile back and was originally supposed to be calling somebody as a skit.
LOL at Reason 1: When Iron Man beats all 2008 movies.
+Colorworks Animation you mean Iron Man got beat by all 2008 movies...that's why you can't put stock in box office
Didn't need the Aunt May joke.
A couple of the numbers on the screen didn't match up with the numbers Siri was saying. Nbd tho
Reasons why Spectre and Mission Impossible Rogue Nation are the same
Siri keeps saying the wrong number if you listen
M-a MArtha KEnt m-a MArtha Wayne wait WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!!
you should make one about deadpool, narrated by deadpool.
+Felix Cohen that would be tough...he's booked solid
Boy, the voice is wrong from reason 15 to 22.
