Hey Vilma great videos. I’m about to start the academy next Monday. After I get my CDL and start with a mentor, how long I’m I going to be OTR. Recruiter told me that it was 2 weeks on 2 days off. Thanks
i appreciate you answering my questions. How often do you have to do split loads or t calls? when you get a load and you have to have someone else take the load that you picked up?
Well with all honesty that depends a lot on the driver i have t-called 2s and swap like 3 times. FYI the only reason why loads get tcall is if he or she run out of there 70. And driver leader is aware or if you breakdown. I alway plan my self accordingly and per-trip my truck/trailer before a full trip that helps me I don’t really like t-call cause not every driver takes there time from the beginning to check there trailers and some don’t weight there loads and I don’t like hauling without a scale ticket. Like once you committed to a load its your responsibility.

Well pay is good for me but am taking it easy and not being pushed which is good
