You can hunt the Carolina Parakeet extinct, they’re the ONLY (non-legendary) animal that doesn’t respawn . It’s an achievement and mirrors real life. The last wild Carolina Parakeet was seen in the late 1890s/early 1900s; they were hunted to extinction

I remember when I first downloaded RDR2 I was shocked by the size of the game file. But. Knowing how many models they have in this game for the sake of realism makes the file size make sense. I'm almost surprised it isn't bigger now.

You forgot some of the birds that can only be seen in chapter 5 and considering that once you start the first mission there’s no free play they are basically impossible to hunt

You can fund crayfish by shady belle easily, especially if you go hunting for them with Pearson
