You have amazing drive and energy John. I am in awe of your positive attitude and willingness to try to fish in any body of water you can find. You are an inspiration to folks who don’t have a boat and don’t want to deal with all the challenges involved with boat ownership. I have one that I barely use!!! Anyway, the Holy Spirit is definitely working in and through you my brother. Thank you for bringing us along on your adventures. We are practically neighbors as I live in Georgetown. 😎
I love these little stream and ditch fishing videos that you do. Reminds me of my brother and I as children finding these little streams and culverts and fishing. And we actually caught some nice fish in the most unlikely waterholes! Thank you and keep doing it 😊
Thanks for taking us along on another great adventure! Crawling thru the brush along a creek can get really sketchy here in Fla. with all the snakes and gators! Be careful John!
This video brought back many memories of fishing a creek just like this one, the underpass and the little waterfall. My brother and I spent many a day doing this very thing. Thanks for sharing this video with me!
I caught my PB green sunfish last week, he fought really hard on my light rod, love creek fishing! I’ve followed your channel for a while found you through these Creek videos. Keep up the awesome work!
Oh John! I sure had my smile on watching this video! And the verse was so very appropriate too! The ultimate of Creek Fishing Adventures. I loved trekking little creeks like that when I was younger myself. Thanks again for sharing Sir! God bless.
Oh yes sir this is a nice dose of spring. A new old Creek Fishing Adventures spot to explore. Love those green sunfish, scrappy and aggressive perfect for ultralight fishing. Thanks for taking us along brother. Blessings John
He is the only guy i know of that will fish in places like that. Amazing. He just loves to fish no matter what size they are. Thumbs up to you little man. Youre the man. Thats a real fishermen.
Glad i stumbled on your channel when i searched small creek fishing. I fish a little creek down the ways, but i like the idea of doing a google search for others. Thank you! New sub here.
You are one tough dude. There's no way I'd get in that water and walk underpass- I'd be so afraid of snakes and I thought I saw some poison ivy. Nevertheless, 👍 great video, John.
Never ceases to amaze me. You seem to have a knack for finding the most unlikely spots to creek fish, and more often than not, you catch fish. Those were some beautiful sunfish. Very healthy and colorful. Kudos to you my friend for another entertaining video.
I got this nice creek down from my house here on Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood) just waiting for the water to calm down before I go explore all the pockets in it. Definitely can't wait. Those red breast are always a blast to catch!
This is 100% the way I spent my first 12 years of life. Except i was in Kentucky and Texas for most of that. Lots of creeks, Lots of Viaducts. Fun times, hollow trees and caves.
John, a lot of the creeks around me go underground because of urban development, but it is always fun to find little holes and all the various species that still live in them. Thanks for sharing!
I thought I was the only one who would fish in the most redicoulously small sized holes where no one would even remotely consider fishing, and almost appear as a goofball from passers by, people wizzing by in their cars, people gawking at you out of a bedroom apartment window, underneath a highway overpass, getting almost tore up climbing down dangerous bolder embankments, dirt hills, etc. I did all that stuff all over Pennsylvania and Virginia in the 2,000's in my 40's. I have caught some surprising fish though, sometimes in only inches of water including a trophy sized Brown trout, a small chain Pickerel (a real rare treat for me) a HUGE Smallmouth, oodles of Blugills almost every where, a Rainbow here and there, a Speckled trout, somewhat rare? All I ever use is 6 pound test line, ALL on Rooster tail spinners. ALL on a red, white, or a yellow body, ALL with the silver blade only. Talk about a narrow variety of lures and line. Now out here in the Phoenix area waterway areas all you see are those trash fish Grass carp and they're ugly, and they get huge. Haven't fished in years. Have to drive up to the local lakes out here to catch any 'real' fish. Robert at 68.
Incredible the amount and species of fish living there! I spend quite a bit on maps to try and find some water around my area, found some decent spots!
Love these videos. Other channels may do it as a challenge, but it’s nice as an every day activators. You have inspired me to follow every body of water around where I live. I have found some interesting fishing holes that I visit weekly
Great stuff as always, John! This is exactly what fascinated me about your videos, because I had been doing the map search online and finding tiny creeks for years up here in PA! Several people walk by and see me with my ultralite pole and wonder why I am fishing a small drainage ditch, and then I pull up a 2-3" bluegill or creek chub and show them the answer! BTW, up in Dayton on the east side of the main highway is a similar tiny ditch that I fished two years ago that was small just like the opening of this video..Had a blast pulling tiny fish out of a few inches of water all along it while people scratched their heads looking at me! :-) Its all good, brother!
You've been to that place before & it is smash fest but you've got guts to go down into something that looks so snaky there's nothing worse than feeling a spider running around on you, if I were to go to something like that i would take me some cutting snips & wear snake boots!👍🎣
Take a folding camp stool with you. They're light and it beats putting all that strain on your knees and your legs. Those closeups of fish are neat. Thanks for the video.
I love your videos, but I hate snakes!!! How do you avoid getting bit? I live in Louisiana and any area similar to this one would be loaded with Cottonmouths. Stay safe.
I can't believe so many fish were living in that water in the median. That is amazing. It's also cool how the end of the tunnel created a miniature spillway.
I used to fish like this every day of my youth with a cane pole & wax worms, my local "old man" bait shop sold cane poles rigged up ,bobber & all, ready to fish for $3 ,young boys are always on a never ending treasure hunt,😅, glad to know I'm not the only one
We have a lot in common. I spend a lot of my time off fishing small streams/creeks all across NW Georgia and Chattanooga. I fish on average 5 - 6 days a week. I get down into ditches, cut paths through briars, fight off spiders and snakes....but I fish a lot of creeks that haven't seen another fisherman and are literally loaded with quality sunfish and small creek bass. We kind of did things opposite of each other, I don't produce videos for the internet but I fished for a living when I was younger and eventually started practicing medicine but I'm hopefully getting close to where I can retire and possibly open a charter business inshore and offshore fishing in Florida. Working as a deckhand for the Southern California sportfishing fleet as a teenager was the best job I ever had and if I was able to make a living, I would still be doing it. Definitely enjoy the videos. We fish a lot of the same streams and I frequently recognize fishing holes and spots on some of the streams that you fish and its cool to have caught a fish in the exact same spots as someone else. I only use barbless hooks when fishing these small creeks and streams and I release 100% of what I catch back for the next fisherman to possibly enjoy in the future.
When I was little, we lived in Arkansas and I used to go with my Dad flyfishing for panfish. Some of the water he fished was so skinny, there was no hope of ever casting a fly...he'd position the fly on a piece of bark, or a leaf...float it downstream, then pull it off its' "raft", and work it back. I remember him catching a ton of fish, that way! Stay Safe!
i dont even fish but theres a creek near my house and i kinda wanna just buy a rod and try it out lol thanks for these videos man. its inspiring me to do something ive never done
Back in the day (more than half a century ago) I used the county soils survey book where the various types of soils were marked out on black and white aerial photos. Find a dull, dark gray patch with one straight edge. The straight edge is the dam, the dark gray is a reservoir.
I have wondered about this type of water before, what type of fish were in there and how it got there. Also, what happens in the dry times of the year. Do they know when to move on to deeper water when the weather warms up? Thanks for taking the time to show what is in these little bodies of water.
Nice video. No way you are in aligator country the way you walked in the tunnel. Looks like TN from the address listed. Love TN and it has great creeks and rivers.
GET BENT! WHATEVER! LOVE YA!
I like the policy of not revealing names of small streams. Your ability to do those accurate little flip casts under branches is truly remarkable!
I was thinking the same thing him flicking that under, im jealous
Remotely dangerous is the term I would use .
You have amazing drive and energy John. I am in awe of your positive attitude and willingness to try to fish in any body of water you can find. Green sunfish and creek chubs are my favorite little fishes. Very underappreciated.
your fishing channel is goated.
Now this is a real creek fishing adventure!
I loved this video .. brought back my inner child hood
Great creek find! Keep posting these gems loaded with fish!!
I love these little stream and ditch fishing videos that you do. Reminds me of my brother and I as children finding these little streams and culverts and fishing. And we actually caught some nice fish in the most unlikely waterholes! Thank you and keep doing it 😊
The word you were looking for is Culvert sir. Awesome video
That was fun.
Adventurous as always.
Sometimes it is just that simple, find water and fish it.
Thanks for taking us along with you.
Thanks for taking us along on another great adventure! Crawling thru the brush along a creek can get really sketchy here in Fla. with all the snakes and gators! Be careful John!
Loved it! Bro we got the same truck backseat just cluttered with gear 😂
Your excitement is infectious.. good work!
This video brought back many memories of fishing a creek just like this one, the underpass and the little waterfall. My brother and I spent many a day doing this very thing. Thanks for sharing this video with me!
Catch good flat head bait green sunfish and creek chubs
Great video John.

I caught my PB green sunfish last week, he fought really hard on my light rod, love creek fishing! I’ve followed your channel for a while found you through these Creek videos. Keep up the awesome work!
This video brings me back to my youth when a couple friends went off on an adventure catching crawfish and whatever we could get from a pole…so cool!!
Oh John! I sure had my smile on watching this video! And the verse was so very appropriate too! The ultimate of Creek Fishing Adventures. I loved trekking little creeks like that when I was younger myself. Thanks again for sharing Sir! God bless.
It is amazing just how many different types of fish and critters can be found in and around these small sreams.
Oh yes sir this is a nice dose of spring. A new old Creek Fishing Adventures spot to explore. Love those green sunfish, scrappy and aggressive perfect for ultralight fishing. Thanks for taking us along brother. Blessings John

These are my favorite videos that you put out John, stay safe and thanks for sharing 👍
He is the only guy i know of that will fish in places like that. Amazing. He just loves to fish no matter what size they are. Thumbs up to you little man. Youre the man. Thats a real fishermen.
Nothing like going back to your roots. Also short people Java an advantage sometimes .🎣🎣🎣🎣
These types of video's are why i keep tuning in! I love when you fish these tiny little spots! ultra light fishing is the best type of fishing!
I love small waters, always have great lil jewels. I've caught decent catfish in such places too, along with sunfish, and trout
Love when you fish these roadside creeks. Love TFO rods, too.
Glad i stumbled on your channel when i searched small creek fishing. I fish a little creek down the ways, but i like the idea of doing a google search for others. Thank you! New sub here.

Love the video! Love your reactions to the little critters jumping around. God Bless
Cool video. Great way to find fishing spots. I do it to find drone flying spots too.
I got this nice creek down from my house here on Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood) just waiting for the water to calm down before I go explore all the pockets in it. Definitely can't wait. Those red breast are always a blast to catch!
This was a fun and adventurous video to watch.. I enjoyed it
This is 100% the way I spent my first 12 years of life. Except i was in Kentucky and Texas for most of that. Lots of creeks, Lots of Viaducts. Fun times, hollow trees and caves.
Fun times! I love checking out places most people wouldn't think to fish.
Haven’t watched this channel in awhile. Forgot how much I love it!
This was so nice! Love the small creeks!
Hey John. Great creek fishing adventure. Amazing where you can find some beautiful sunfish.
What kind of drone are you using for shots
This is the type of fishing I love. Just going on a mini adventure and having a blast.
John, a lot of the creeks around me go underground because of urban development, but it is always fun to find little holes and all the various species that still live in them. Thanks for sharing!
Where do you live?
Bro you are ATE UP with Fishing aren't ya? Love your enthusiasm John!
That's awesome fish live in there!!! Awesome video so far man.

I've caught some massive bluegill at places like this in Oklahoma. Some were nearly a pound!
5:12 really appreciate that smooth perspective transition.
Love these videos. Other channels may do it as a challenge, but it’s nice as an every day activators. You have inspired me to follow every body of water around where I live. I have found some interesting fishing holes that I visit weekly

Take a folding camp stool with you. They're light and it beats putting all that strain on your knees and your legs. Those closeups of fish are neat. Thanks for the video.
Fun times! Really enjoy the roadside creeks.
this is real ultralight fishing right here. BANGER
That is called a box culvert, John! Great vid!!!!
I love your videos, but I hate snakes!!! How do you avoid getting bit? I live in Louisiana and any area similar to this one would be loaded with Cottonmouths. Stay safe.

You are crazy, brother. There’s no way in the world, I’d be crawling around down there. I love watching you do it, though😂
Great creek fishing
Ahh enjoyment. Thanks for making this video 👍😁
I can't believe so many fish were living in that water in the median. That is amazing. It's also cool how the end of the tunnel created a miniature spillway.
My uncle put me on to google maps for finding the best overlooked fishing spots a couple of years ago… one of the best tips he ever gave me!
I'm always scouting on Google maps for new spots to fish lol
of come across a giant alligator. like in the movie from the 80s.
I used to fish like this every day of my youth with a cane pole & wax worms, my local "old man" bait shop sold cane poles rigged up ,bobber & all, ready to fish for $3 ,young boys are always on a never ending treasure hunt,😅, glad to know I'm not the only one
LOL I feel sure you're on I-75 and the passers by are really enjoying seeing someone out fishing in the median. 😄
Hilarious bro. That has to be spring fed. I always carry a telescopic rod n reel in the trunk of my car. Keep it up!
Just found your channel love the content. We are doing the same thing here in Ontario Canada. Keep up the great videos.
Quite the small adventure!
Love this video

That's awesome, well done.
love that outro footage
Nice return to your roots.
Bro I'd be saving some of those little ones for some serious bait! Love the video! GBU!
I prefer these types of videos

i think if it really goes into a drought some of these fish will die but as soon as it rains there is new little ones that will swim in there
Nice video. No way you are in aligator country the way you walked in the tunnel. Looks like TN from the address listed. Love TN and it has great creeks and rivers.
Sure is
Awesome video brother
You should use the sling shot cast in those close areas.... God Bless my brother.
