I watch these kind of videos all the time and this is the very FIRST one that I've seen that I wouldn't change a single thing in the design! It is absolutely PERFECT and GORGEOUS!!! My husband and I are both in our upper 70s and this is exactly the kind of house we need! It is beautiful inside and out! It is my dream home! Too bad I didn't stumble on this 25 years ago. Now all I can do is dream. Sigh...

This is truly an absolute dream home. It’s not too big, nor too large! And I love that we wouldn’t have to climb any stairs, because I’ve had trouble with my knees since my 40s, now I’m passed that over 10 + years!❤ So beautiful!
Love it all except I’d have a full walk-in shower rather than bathtub in the master bedroom but that’s just me. Lovely home.

I love the entrance to the house. Separation from living room and kitchen. I love the kitchen…I would add a large hand wash sink to go in the wonderful laundry room.
The sitting room off the main bedroom is a dream for me.
The only thing this beautiful home is missing is storage space. I decorate for every holiday. I need a large room to keep my totes.

I would probably swap the location of the Kitchen/Dining/Pantry with the Living room/Bedroom. This way the Foyer lines up close to the center of the Front Porch and the fireplace doesn't poke through the roof.

This is in every inch what my dream retirement house would be. I love the porch so much.
Nice too much house for me. I typically thought the mud room and laundry room were in the same vicinity due to the use of a mud room. More bathrooms than I would need and they are not inexpensive. Like the screened in porch for the master bedroom area. I could see going out there to drink a cup of coffee in the morning while my dogs were outside getting their morning stretch. I am more prone to the open concept especially with the kitchen living room for communication with guests and family.
I am looking to save money with my last home. A 2 bedroom with a Jack and Jill bathroom and half bath in the house near the entry. Must have a entry way, laundry room with storage, separate washer/dryer no combos, kitchen living room areas open to each other. Island in kitchen with seating. Cabinets or storage in the entry for coats, boots/shoes, etc. Check out what the interior of a home that has high ceiling painted the same color as the walls, a lite color works best when doing this. The arched ceilings were very high. Using this technique made the room so bright and spacious. I will keep looking. I know my home exists out there. Have a blessed day and stay safe.

This is an amazing house! I love everything about it, the wrap around porch with all kinds of different seating options, the clean look of the living room and the dining room, the inviting kitchen layout with the spacious pantry, the master bedroom is so beautiful, and that relaxation room off of the master bedroom was the cherry on top. I also love that the house wasn't just square, there were many turns and hallways and the house has such character. I can see many friends gathering here. Just perfect

I would attach a car port cover over the exterior door to the pantry. Groceries, which we all buy every week, can be unloaded into the pantry, keeping all that mess away from the living room. Also a little bench and shoe rack would fit in there too.

Great design. As a Realtor and an Aircraft Fabricator for Cessna in their Prototype Division I would change a few things. I do love the wrap porch, that is something missing from many Home designs today; it has so many benefits. I would want a little bigger kitchen with an Island. The Pantry has an exit door which seems odd, since you really don't go anywhere once there. I would also add an exit door from the back porch of the Master. I would like an enclosed garage and Carport. There is enough square footage in this Home to make a small office for computers, desk, etc. I like the Foyer entry, great idea. Thank you for including the Floor Plan, it gives good spatial information.
The door from the pantry is oddly place, on the other hand there is no other egress on that side of the house. May be a fire code issue.
Finally a design with an entryway that begins to address a 4 season environment! I feel panicky without a 2nd exit by the bedrooms. Id want an enclosed garage just because of winter. Very nicely laid out.
I love that the kitchen doesn’t have an island. I reminds of older homes. But I agree with everything else you said

I liked this one also, but why do you have a door going to the outside from the pantry? IF there was a drive through or another garage/carport, you could drop off the groceries right there....not sure any other reason,
Love this design - i might add commode and sink to laundry room - if possible - and a corner small glass shower? Living with others, guests, kids- 2 bathrm or even 1 and a 1/2. is a good thing. 8:04
I'm retiring very soon and want to downsize. This home is perfect. So many beautiful features. The wraparound porch and sunroom are gorgeous.

The only changes I would make is in the master bath. I would hinge the door into the bathroom the other direction. I would put the toilet on the opposite wall, make it a water closet, but no door, just back and side wall facing the shower, and two sinks instead of one. Walk in shower instead of tub.

All I need is a double car garage
Beautiful house. I would isolate a wardrobe from a bathroom with a wall or a door to prevent moisture penetrating from the bathroom. Also more walls and doors between the kitchen and the rest of the house and especially bedrooms are better. Thus the cooking smell (what if you fry fish!!) would spread less to the rest of the house. Open space concept looks pretty but kitchen should be isolated and closed)). Great house though!

I like the general layout of the design except for the front door being off side, doesn't seem balanced in the front of the house.
The only thing I would change is adding a sliding door at the dinning room so you can make indoor/outdoor space and access to that beautiful porch.

This one is almost perfect. I would like an office and half bath.
This is a great layout 2460 sq ft. In my area construction of new homes are running on average of $153/sf. That’s construction of $386,400, without land, site work, basement, electrical, heating and cooling units, generator, appliances, trim work, etc, etc, etc. if any customization from basic plan costs have and will go over $200 to up to $500 sq ft. I haven’t seen a new ranch (even in a 55+ ) for under $500k. You have to go way off the beaten path to find a relatively inexpensive ranch (and prepare to rebuild it).

Not for me as I like more of an open floor plan. Too many walls, I would feel claustrophobic. But love the exterior.

I love almost everything about it it is one of the most perfect houses but you do not have a walk-in shower also I love windows but the problem with Windows unless you've got a very high fence that and keep out humans and bears because of the rule area or do some window treatments where they can't tell where you're at this will always be a problem with Windows
