- I've always wanted to try and recreate this classic Madonna song. I used Cubase 6 Elements and various software synths. The guitar track is from the original multitrack. The cover artwork was done by Denjo-Reloaded.

This song is one of Madonna' s more sincere songs.
Someone, please explain to me why this channel doesn't already have a million subscribers. I remember back in 1981, on MTV, this was the first song I heard from Madonna and knew who the heck she was. My life was never the same afterwards,

Oscar Gomez definitely not the original version this is a cover the analogue synths give it away on the original especially in the Rhodes intro and the pulse synth which is very different from this cover and a lot less pronounced.
You can tell these are digital voice pads compared to the original

Very close, I was not looking at the screen when the song came on, the playing on that synth that came in at 0:16 gave it away. The transition between notes is quicker on the original, especially at the end of each phraze. However, it is still a very good listen and has the same happy vibes as the original and is an excellent duplication. Well done A+.
From a time when there was a lot of money in music and a hell of a lot of drive to be the best, the talent was there back then, this guy would have fitted right in 👍🏻
