For a minute I thought I was watching a video from 2012... then I saw the upload date and then I was even more shocked when I realized he's playing the bedrock edition! This video looks like a minecraft java video from 2012. Not a bad thing, it just feels nostalgic!
Fun Fact: an A.I. is actually a series of complicated arrays of arrays of arrays of else if statement, which is basicallyjust decision making component. The simplest form of an A.I. is actually a single else if in whatever programming languaguage that supports that statement (e.g PHP7, JavaScript) and human brain is actually consisting of that too if you see it logically.
Even though im 3 years late, this is the perfect thing i was looking for. A small computer, that has a tutorial, and is in BEDROCK. (I play pocket edition, but pocket is like bedrock.)
I'd like to imagine I'm a fairly competent redstone engineer. However, I am not very good at comparator logic. I wasn't when they were announced, and I'm not now. This truly makes my brain hurt, bravo!
Wow, this is so different from what I've seen, it uses so many comparators, I have pretty much no idea what's going on, lol. It looks a bit interesting. What can this computer do with only 2 bits(I guess, not sure) of input?
It is a computer as long as it can compute, basicaly as long as it is able to work like binary I mean add and subtract Then again 0=off 1=on Should be a good start if anyone is trying to make binary in minecraft
I'm having an issue after I added the input levers and output lights. When I pull a series of levers to run an addition function, all the lights lit up instead of the result of the answer
I’m a friend of Bishop The Bedstoner. In fact, I came up with his name and pfp. So you know who I am - but what I’m getting to is I’m a talented redstoner but I rarely use computer redstone, (other than a couple addition calculators) so I might be getting active on this channel.
But can it be display when it connect to a gpu or some thing like a screen? Sorry about my bad English, I’m come from Vietnam and this is epic super ultimate ultra cool!
It can. The third register is tapped to an external port, so you can connect that directly to a 7-segment display, or a GPU. Just remember that the output is in signal strength, not serial.
The most useless redstone tutorials:"You place component here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here...". While I'm screaming at my screen: "Why? Why? Why? What does that do and why?"
I have a video showcasing it: ruclips.net/video/Au5i50qtP1o/видео.html I also have an updated version: ruclips.net/p/PLPNt5BAhs0vBZv4CLrx8VT06soS3n5zjj And I’m currently working on a series to build generic hex PCs: ruclips.net/p/PLPNt5BAhs0vA-ReZxxQgEg-FVpFd4QA5S
i spent untill half way and since u dont show us where we actually are during bulding i had no idea where to put stuff and now it looks like some 2 year old smashed a redstone machine and blew it up with tnt
So the RPC can do addition and NOT in 4-bit binary (using hex architecture so it's 1 hex digit). With that you can do any arithmetic function, and if you just use 0 and 15 you can simulate 1-bit binary logic gates.
My comparators seem to be consistently bugging out. I know if the signal strength going into the side of a subtract comparator is equal to or stronger than the signal coming from the back, it doesn't turn on, right? Well from what I know, using a comparator doesn't drain the signal and instead just delays it. So my problem is why aren't the comparators turning off when I put it in subtract mode and feed the signal into the side equal to the back? Is it because I play on the ancient version of 1.5.2, a.k.a. the redstone update? Were comparators changed since then?
@@ct5k_ creative and i decided to blow it up, sorry. it annoyed me that i couldnt figure out what it did and also i forgot i made a comment on this video. also, the building of it was fine but i tried lots of things to make it work and i dont think it did anything.

The RPC1 can do ADD and NOT. Basically, this computer was just a mold-breaker from traditional binary computers.

If you are having problems with the ALU not working and giving false out puts. Remember to set all ALU comparators to subtract mode. It worked for me
Yeah. My issue was the repeaters were set to 1-tick, instead of 2.
Fun Fact: an A.I. is actually a series of complicated arrays of arrays of arrays of else if statement, which is basicallyjust decision making component. The simplest form of an A.I. is actually a single else if in whatever programming languaguage that supports that statement (e.g PHP7, JavaScript) and human brain is actually consisting of that too if you see it logically.
its actually more like a function taking inputs and producing an output, hence the weights on certain nodes on the neural nets.
I... knew that. At least I figured when I learned that line of code. (It's the only line of code I actually know and know what it does)
You have earned a new sub! I think what you did was very very cool. Even though I don't understand hex logic.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Never seen a redstone server. Connect multiple computers
How do you use it once it’s built I have no idea how to make it do stuff it just looks like a bunch of random Redstone thrown together
I have no idea what to do with this because I’m not smart enough please explain to me what I can use this for
Wow, this is so different from what I've seen, it uses so many comparators, I have pretty much no idea what's going on, lol.

lol add numbers up to 3
@@TrevoltIV i can't do that so its very usfull
This is an old comment, but the computer uses signal strength instead of binary. So it's actually two 4-bit inputs, which is (slightly) useful.
Imagine a small collection of blocks can run Minecraft in Minecraft.
95% of explanations is missing xD
This looks really cool. Have you designed memory and hardware to execute instructions or just the CPU?
For this, just the CPU. I have a revision (not uploaded just yet) that does have a hard drive.
@@ct5k_ That's awesome, I'd love to see a compact redstone computer using hex that's Turing complete.
Does it have to be conditional to be Turing complete?
@@ct5k_ Yup, the programming language needs to be able to use random access memory and to support some form of jump instruction.

So this uses one hex bit, which is equivalent to four binary bits (0-15). The ALU has two functions: ADD and NOT.

Can I replace the compariters with repeaters?
No. If you replace the comparators with repeaters, it won’t work. Repeaters can’t compute.
