Stability Ball Workout for Beginners & Seniors // Fun Exercises for Full Body Toning

- 25 minute full body toning workout. This Stability ball workout is great for seniors and beginners.
The exercises incorporated into this workout have a pilates base that is perfect for strengthening and lengthening your body. This video is at a perfect pace to keep your heart rate elevated, but allows you time to get comfortable in each position. The exercise ball is fun to work with and challenges your core to stay balanced and keeps your muscles activated! Make sure you keep your tummy pulled in so you protect your lower back. You will feel great after this workout!
Make sure you have an appropriate size ball to work with. If your ball is too big or if it is inflated too much it will be very difficult to grip with your legs.
I also recommend wearing shoes to help grip the ball. Finally, make sure you have some padding like a rug or yoga mat under you. There is a section where we are on our knees and you need to have some padding or cushion so you are comfortable.

I wish it was a longer workout, that's how much I enjoy this type of workout. It is great for a lively 63 year old senior and puts no pressure on the joints. I hope you will create another one!

Can't thank you enough I have been suffering Trochanteric bursitis for months and just getting up and down the stairs was a challenge. I got very little sleep and was actually very distressed and my mental health was suffering. 10 days of Lauren's program has turned my life around. I am not completely pain free but so much better than I was and look forward to improving as time goes on. I feel lifted from the darkness. I feel Lauren is a friend that's helped me through and I am so grateful. No drugs just care xx

Just saw your video. I am 76 and workout 3 days at the gym with weights, resistance machines and the track. I have always been afraid of that big ball - you know i was sure i would just roll right off. With back pain i cant do floor exercises but seeing your video changed all that. Now i can do all my favorite calistenics and stretches without struggling to get down or up from the floor. Thanks for the informative and creative ball lessons.

Im 60, started a new job 2 years ago, completely sitting for 40 plus hours on the computer. All my muscle turned to flab and im losing muscle tone too. Ive been working out to your stability ball exercises for seniors for 3 months and i love it. I try to work out at least 3 times a week and i always do plenty of walking, however,. I also cut out added sugars, milk, alcohol and excessive smoking 😅 from stress. I think i will be ready this summer for that modess biki 😅

I will say it again. It's a revelation! I am so enjoying the stability ball workouts! Back in the day when I used to go to classes, our instructor had to bring all her equipment, so we never got to use the stability ball. I have been cycling through the five you have if you ever need an idea for a new workout. I would love to see another stability ball one.

FUN workout! Was discouraged after walking my dog since I have to walk SO slowly with 'ungood' knee but after doing this stability ball workout and no real difficulty, except moving from floor to ball or changing ball positions, I feel like a 'productive human being' once again! :-) I wish family could DO these workouts with me and STOP seeing me as an 'old disabled lady' .....because I'm NOT! I just started working out again after many years of being too sedentary in a desk job. I’m almost 55 years old and I real love this ball workout I just purchased two different sized balls to get the best workout that I can. I’m 5 feet 10 inches tall so I needed to figure out which ball would work best. Thank you so much for the great movement I just loved it!!
I'm so glad! tip: I've found that I can change the size of the ball by a few inches just by letting air in/out. Especially when the ball is new it needs to stretch out a bit before it can be blown up to its full size.

I am really enjoying your classes especially the ability ball classes. I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis-60:years old due to a condition I have had the past 3 years which affected m bones. I have need to modify my workouts. Let me be honest, this excercise isn't hard at all to do for gym buddy, but this still require enough core stability. I really recommend for anybody who have joint problems, bad day on period cycle, or for anyone who just wants a light fun toning workout, this video is great for you guys!

I love the balance ball because it's easy on my knees, which are worn out. Your workout is easy enough for beginners and seniors, but at the same time challenging enough to get results.

I do pilates at my senior centre, in class and online. The only class I have difficulty with is the advanced stability ball class. Too much bouncing which hurts my knees and hips. This class was perfect. A good workout. Saved to my playlist. 🥰

So I got my ball and just did the workout. It’s great, but I think my ball is too small. I’m 5’4” so I got the smallest ball based on the recommendations on the Amazon site. But my legs are definitely not in a 90 degree position when I sit on it. I do have long legs in relation to my torso, so maybe I need the next size up? I’ve filled the ball as much as it will take, so I don’t know. What do you think?
@@joannekempf3350 I would stick with what you have. You may find that once it is used a few times it can stretch out and you may be able to get some more air into it. I think a bigger ball may make some of the exercises too difficult (like gripping with your legs) as long as you are not uncomfortable sitting on it with your knees bent a little more, I think it's fine. Enjoy your long legs!
