Thank you for showcasing our app! We’re thrilled with how it turned out and have really enjoyed working together! We hope to bring all VR users a "home cinema"!
For Batman the way combat works was the right choice, otherwise many would just "Wii waggle" the game through, which wouldn't feel very "Batman-like". It also had to play like the flatscreen games except in VR, those games were also very rhythm-focused. So taking inspiration from something like Beat Saber was a good call, it's choreographed fighting, like a dance. Also the variety comes from having to fight multiple enemies at once, using different moves to open them up and pummel them. In a way it's like the classic beat 'em ups, where crowd control was paramount.
Perfect take. It's annoying listening to kids talk about gaming when all they are doing is complaining about a less diverse, singularly focused experience. We are still in a great time where games are made by developers that were around at the dawn of gaming or 1st Gen consoles. We sampled so many mechanics of gaming. Today, everything is so linear, fast paced, and the same upgraded PC components over a slightly different GUI and features based around out of game experiences. Feels like story is really all there has been to look forward to for so long in new games.. Until VR. AAA games like this in VR are the first step forward in a while. Your take on the mechanics tells me you get it.
I agree batmans combat was good choice for batman but i dont want it to be standard in none batman games i need more phisics based like blade and sorcery and bonelab
@@Flowmada agreed bro especially with trash like dragon age the failguard and overwatch clones with ugly characters aka concord and things like assassin's of the woke coming out on flatscreen i agree bro
Thanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I had the Samsung Gear 1 & 2 then backed away from VR for a bit until the Q2 had been out for just about a year. I got the Q3S a few weeks ago. I'm pretty pleased with where VR is, is going, and how we got here. We've easily passed the Lawnmower Man VR I was taught to expect as a child. I feel like we are 1 baby step away from Johnny Mnemonic style internet that I really am looking forward to. (Things like Horizons and VR Chat are basically that JM style "internet" but with better graphics. It's just not "the standard" way we browse online.) I've tried a few of the different old Cardboard experiences and they were meh at best, even being compared to the Gear VR stuff. I'm looking forward to the future of VR and it's nice to see that we are in another growth phase.
And Qualcomm might not be able to release the chip for the Samsung headset as they and ARM are going to court as ARM does want them using their chips anymore
Nintendo's headset is a completly standalone headset and uts own platform and Google owns the company who are making the Mirco LED screens for the headset
Had to go full dystopia at the end with the AI huh? "Remember how much AI is ruining art drawn by people? Well it's going to be ruining video games even more than it already is soon enough too!"
Wow, Google and Samsung make a headset. One company known for pushing advertising on every free space and way to often, and the other company known for bloatware and force users to use their preinstalled (essential) apps even no one want them or already have better alternatives. Still folk will buy it if it become a reality.
Samsung always too pricey. Sadly I just never get Any excitement when I hear Samsung, Apple, or HTC when it comes to VR. Too expensive, too little support, little to no ecosystem. VR does Not need overpriced headsets right now. That's been one of VR's biggest issues, Ridiculously priced and often faulty hardware with virtually zero software support. Just like Sony's problem has always been too expensive and very little support beyond games, and VR is SO much more than games.
The individual VR ecosystem thing really is a problem for companies that could potentially nail the hardware, so I kinda get why Meta is trying to also become a VR platform as Android is to phone makers. We had a world where people were still trying to break in between Apple and Google in the early days of smart phones and it was awful. Google fumbling the bag here when they could've just made Android more VR compatible is nuts to me, but they failed in their own hardware and let Meta steal the show on Hardware and software so they're about the only notable player in the game now but that's good since they have the most VR tailored content outside the PC space by far and no one is close.
I really hope VR isn't dead. I have 2 Quest 2's, and I am hovering over the pay button for the Quest 3, but I don't have the feeling that there are any new AAA games other than HL:A.
VR is finally hitting its stride and only going to continue getting better. People that say it's dead don't know what they are talking about. Yes VR is still considered niche but its growing and only going to get bigger.
I don’t think AI game generation is going anywhere 🤷♂️ if an AI makes your game the AI software provider will own the game 🤷♂️ us Devs are safe 😏 AI can’t do anything without stealing from other developers soooooo 🥱
@ I see 🤔 yet still AI has to borrow its replication from somewhere…AI is not as smart as people think. It doesn’t have a mind of its own, it’s not a real entity, AI is software that was man made and can thus not think without man’s influence. AI is made by preprogrammed responses to human interactions, so if we type in make me a game that does A, B, C it has to search for games created already and replicate what has been done. As a developer who studied to learn how to create these things I would like anyone using AI to create their game to pay me royalties top dollar for any design influence that my software contributed too. ChatGPT started off like that and now we’re paying for tokens etc 🤣🤣 AI is a digital steroid for weak devs 💁♂️ anyway keep up the content 👍 I will be looking forward to seeing more from your channel.

i have been saying nintendo 2 should have vr for years now... thats an obvious switch evolution
VR, the next big thing that will disrupt the console industry.
I heard a rumor Nintendo 2 would be VR. Would have been amazing. Now tho, all signs point to same handheld experience just upgraded
I keep hoping they reiterate on their 3DS tech at least. 3D depth makes a huge difference for me.
Yeah vr definitely needs a cardboard 1080p version of a vr headset in 2024
@sneedsfeedandseed1795 nice sentence bud. I agree but does 2025 need it YFI!?
These Blade & Sourcery clips make me look like some kind of psychopath 😂
That laughing emoji makes it more possible
I have also noticed that my Q2 seems to be having more issues ever since the last update
I agree we need more phisics based like blade and sorcery and bonelab but a first party meta game with blade and sorcery phisics would be insane

Is there a performance increase for queat 2 as well?
no

I think the samsung headset would be quite impressive hopefully my first headset was the samsung odyssey + and absolutely loved it

Samsungs headset is not gonna run at that resolution with the snap dragon chip. You can stream movies at that resolution but not games.

Batman: Arkham Shadow; Metro Awakening; and Alien: Rogue Incursion are some of the best looking titles out now/soon.

Valve deckard has the chance to kill meta. Pcvr developers will make their games work for it and thats all most gamers will need to switch
