This is such a game changer, I was screaming this morning when I received the email on these new machines. I am currently in the market for a heat press and just returned the siser heatpress, was just not for me. We all know when cricut designs a product, it is done well. Now I just have to find the money for it. Now This is a Happy Monday for me. Excited...

      $1,000!

Last summer I sold my Easy Presses (all 3 of them!) and invested in, what my son calls, a big momma heat press. Although these features are nice, you can get most of them in an "industrial-sized" heat press. One that goes hotter than 400 degrees, which for some of the items I make I need a temp of 420 - 460. I can also do sublimation, not Cricut infusible ink, but actual sublimation, because my press has a higher temp than just 400. I wish they would have fixed DS or better yet put the $ into better parts for the machines. I had a Cricut Air 2, 12.5 months after I got it, it died. I went through THREE more machines after that, all died the same way within 7-10 months. After machine #4, I switched to a Cameo. For as much money as these machines cost they should be lasting a long long time!

Interesting but when you are new to these products you will buy,buy hoping it will meet your needs and when they don't hmm,I will reserve my thoughts

@@janetwalsh2596 I've been a Cricut customer for a very long time. I work at Michael's, I am the "go-to" person for all things Cricut and siser. I have always been honest with customers and helped them find the best machine or tools for their needs. I have always talked up Cricut. After the past 3 years of machines dying with a known issue that they refuse to address, I can't, in good conscience, talk people into buying a $399 machine that people are reporting the same issues as the air 2s having.

I ❤️ all the new products. Was wondering why the older heat presses were on sale. I just craft for a hobby but I ❤️ the Cricut Maker I got back in November. I was going to get the mug press and the 12*10 heat press as I recently bought the mini and have had my 9*9 for a while now, but I'm definitely going to be getting the hat press and then the 12*10 heat press. I'll wait for the mug press as I'm sure Cricut will put out new ones soon (they're on sale right now, which I can only hope means they'll come out with new ones soon). The auto press is too pricey for me but kuddos to those who can afford one. Thank you so much for your detailed video. Very informative

Good video, hats off to your presentation skills.
    Now the industry talk lol
As a person who actually has a brand and creator for other brands, I am scratching my head on the price. I started with a swing out heat press that burned out so I switched to Cricut heat press (12X10) and the smaller heat presses as well. I watched the video while looking at the competitors prices and I can’t wrap my head around justifying the cost of this machine. It does look state of the art in its design but for a person getting started there are bigger auto-presses out there. I seen some that were 15X15 and 20X15 for half the price. I’m not knocking this press because my whole setup is Cricut even down to my vinyl cutter. I just wish it was in the $550-$700 range.
    Great video💯😎

I agree with you, but for myself, I don't have the space for those larger heat presses plus they use up a lot of electricity. This is perfect for my space, plus you can fold it up when not in use. It's just the price!

@@themelonpatchbydeb8411 I love the fact you can store and carry the machine. It looks like a hospital device😂😂😂 that looks modern compared to the industrial looking ones. That wide opening is what most people do like about the machine.

    • @SweetRedPoppy
      @SweetRedPoppy  2 года назад +2

I can definitely understand the frustration with the price range! I wish it were lower as well. I know it's not a great fit for many simply because of the price tag.
I think it's a good fit for those who are in the market for a heat press in that price range ($800 - $2000) and it outperforms the presses it's competing with in terms of reliability, temperature stability, pressure, and safety.
To be clear, it's not competing with a $200 Amazon press that claims to be all the things and comes with five attachments that will inevitably break. 😂 If someone is looking for an entry-level heat press the Cricut EasyPress is what I would recommend.
As far as the size of the heat plate, I asked the same question. Why isn't it bigger? Cricut said from their research that many crafters weren't actually using the full width of other larger plates and that 12 x 15 met the needs of most. Obviously, this will be subjective to what you create and your own needs.
You can definitely find cheaper heat presses out there, but from my experience, they come with a variety of problems like accidental burns, uneven heating, inconsistent temperatures, display malfunctions, etc.
Hopefully, there will be another version of this in the future at a more affordable price point. I’m crossing my fingers for that! 🤞
Just like with any other Cricut product, you’re paying a higher price tag because of the automation, reliability, and technology that their products have. You know it’s going to work for the long haul and that it’s been thoroughly tested.
Hopefully, this clears up a few questions that you have! 💕
