Appreciate the video. I have always preferred to play my SDE in a 7 and we key the EMOL with our OLBs. So we play gap exchange on the weak side with the Will and WDE. We play our Sam in a "90" and make the read as easy as possible. TE is either going to block down on that 7 or block you. Our Mike reads the center's butt. We squeeze everything with our DE's and try to defend tackle to tackle with 5 guys (4 DL and Mike). It's fun to see other ways to skin a cat. Thanks for the info.
I know im randomly asking but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Walker Emilio Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Coach, at the 36:10 mark in your video, you are talking about recovering from reading the backfield to reading the off guard. If the Guard overrides the backfield, then why is the backfield primary read?
Hey Joe, I prefer guard to backfield reads but if we're talking about JV football, where you may be getting sloppy guard reads would you prefer a backfield to guard read?
Hey man I understand you want to promote your goods and thats fine and dandy, but some of us dont want to hear all that for 10 minutes before the actual knowledge we seek is finally dispayed. Im sure yoid have way more viewers if you cut down on the promotional talk. Just some advice from a viewers perspective. No shade being thrown cause im not into that, just some advise is all.
He never gives a break down of: SAM: reads MIKE: reads Will: reads If you came looking for that... it doesn't happen here. This guy can't get out of his own way with all of the advanced terminology. Find another vid
@Joe4372 You have a ton of knowledge, bro. So imagine your audience is 200 post athletic warrior dads who just had their sons football team dropped in their lap because the coach quit. Give us the position, and give us the 1st 2nd and 3rd reads and pursuit routes if applicable. And your videos will blow up! We all played "smash mouth" football somewhere in our teens, but the game is more advanced. We Need help... our sons need help. Or these programs will die.

Thanks so much for sharing coach! Especially like the gun reads of the mesh as they seem like they can have a ton of carryover.

What are the 3 main
key reads for a will linebacker

Can you do key reads for a sam linebacker in a 3-4?
That depends on which one you're calling the Sam
I prefer guard reads for the 3-4 but you can key backfield
@@Joe4372 im calling the sam backer as the one who lines up on the edge as a passrusher/edge defender. Thats what i play in the concord district in va
@@danielknight506 No, would not use those reads for him.
We run a Sam with a 4-3 with a Will and Mike

This is the first person who has ever called me advanced. I'm honored.

He literally says around 33:00 - MLB keys the FB, OLB key the tailback.
Can you just get to the ACTUAL information!!?? HALF of this is total promotion :/ BRUH!!??
Yeah I know. This is my job. Plus I promote my products that go much deeper so that I can help coaches win games.
