The shock cans are usually in the way is probably why they say it won’t fit, just loosen and turn the cans up like yours and it will fit perfectly. I love mine.

great cargo box, I just bought an X3 and I put the flip up spare tire carrier on it. I was wondering if the design on the top allows for the spare tire carrier to fit on it?

Good question. Im guessing its for straps since that feature is on every model they make.
