The guy who wrote or directed it (can't remember which one) wanted to change the ending at the last minute but the animators had already finished drawing the scenes so that's why it ended that way. Btw I didn't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched or finished watching it. That's why it's not that specific. But yeah.

It's nice to be positive but what's more important is to accept your own flaws. If you're not beautiful just accept it and don't focus on it instead of thinking you are. Lower your expectations in your partner in terms of looks too but make sure he/she is around the same level of beauty as you. A bit worse would work too. Don't take the advice of the person who say you're beautiful in their comment. You could be beautiful inside but outer appearance matters too and you all can feel it too.Just accept yourself for who you are. Change what you can change about yourself to look better by excercising and stuff but don't accept what you cannot change.
I know she liked her friend but she really didn’t understand him in a way, she was jealous of his relationship with music. Like that’s part of the deal if you like a musician, music is going to rank way up there.

You may be ugly looking guy but if you accept it you will be free of that burden. Deluding yourselves in saying you look good and personality matter type things will only get your expectations high.
