Thank you, @autumnsmom1117! The funny thing was that I really wanted my cat to be in this video for me. She's not a pick-me-up, snuggly girl. Much more aloof and she comes for a cuddle when she wants to, on her terms. Anyway, I got all dress up for this and set up the green screen and phone to film... then she disappeared out the door. She came back right after I'd finished, washed all the nasty make-up off and was back looking like me again. So the cats in the video are stock footage, not my Meisie, sadly.

Oh, OK! Your cat sounds like my fiesty senior. She comes when she wants to eat or be patted. I adopted her when she was 10. She's 16 now. My last side kick was hands-on. 🐈 He was a handsome ginger who I had from kittenhood to 13 yrs. He was a sweetheart and loved by all.
Shirley, you never disapoint with lyrics. The Venitian blinds got me. Im lucky all my adopted cats always use a scratching post. My elderly ginger Tom, scratches it before he go's out, scratches it when he comes in. You want to see the state of it. Having to buy a new one tomo. One thing he did do last night was inbed his teeth into my hand. Didn't like his tummy being rubbed, must have had a bad day, as most of the time he lets me do it. CATS!!! ❤❤❤🇬🇧

Oh yes, I have heard so many horror stories about cats and blinds but luckily mine also don't bother my blinds. I've got a few pieces of furniture that's got scratch marks on it from them but at least they don't touch the blinds. Yes they have plenty of places of their own scratch but well, you know cats.
My Sheba insists on licking my hand when I rub her belly and then wondered why I stopped when my hand gets to hot from being cocooned.

@ Too funny! Sounds like it might be the same design. On mine, the cat has the top of his head against the ground with his butt in the air... I'm not good at describing things.
I got mine from Temu, which I've had good luck ordering from. I know there's been problems with hacked bank accounts, but I use Paypal so they can't get into my bank account. I've gotten some really cute shirts from them... all with cats, of course!🐈⬛😻
They are also kinder than humans. If I could, I would live in a cabin in the forest, away from most people but close enough to "civilization" to refill my chest freezer once a month.

Actually, he's begging for hot water. I've created a monster! I filled his bowl with hot water one day because the temp in my house was about 50F degrees. I thought he'd wait to drink it, but he _loved_ it! Now he thinks water should be soup temp!

My computer chair USED to have upholstered arms before my cat, Houdini, made all the fabric and padding disappear! They are bare wood now, well-clawed.

I miss my cats. Their individual quirks and their loving ways. Have you had a cat that goes from outside door to outside door looking for the doorway to summer? Or have you had an adventure who sleeps on top of the laundry room cabinet in the space between cabinet and ceiling? Also, she would jump from cabinet to taller cabinet over TV to sleep. Someday, I hope to live where I can have another cat or two, Two cats go well together.

WE do stay home with our pets (3 dogs and 1 cat)
Our Dogs have us very well trained as well, even Blacky has us trained ... of course ZuZu the black lab Moose mix has Blacky trained into thinking hes ZuZu's personal chew toy. . It's crazy but I really think he enjoys it when she tries to put his whole head in her mouth... Not surprizing our animals are ummmm a bit off plumb...

@JC-tp5lz Yes, I have 14 of my own cats. Two more cats are foster kittens that will soon go to their new home.
This is mostly because my husband is one special cat whisperer. After he retired 5 years ago, we went from a household of 6 cats to our present herd of 14.
Our home is good sized and we have room for them all. My husband works with a local cat adoption agency, and he often fosters cats who are awaiting adoption. Right now, we have a couple of kittens, under 4 months old, that we will foster until they're placed into their new home.
Always cat crazy busy in our house. And yes, our clothes are usually covered in cat hair. 🐈

Many thanks. You're right - I usually parody songs sung by men, and keep them in the same key, so you'll more often hear my lower register, which is also what I prefer to sing in. So it's been weird for me that my last two songs are definitely soprano ones!
I've not had formal singing training apart from some in-school lessons in high school.

Thanks, Benedikt. No silly questions here. I don't tell the artists, but RUclips detects when an original tune is used, and they get paid for it from the advertising on the video. Some choose to share the proceeds with people like me, and others don't. But it's their choice.

As a very proud cat mom, I love this video, at this time, I have 2 cats that snuggling to them is sitting or sleeping on my lap, they don't like being picked up unless its for less than 10 secs. Ive ALWAYS had adopted cats in my life but found this beautiful breed & for the 1st time ever I had a type of cat I got a breed I had never heard of a "Singapura", they are beautiful, smaller sized & like to play. I got them as a
"I survived cancer" as companions for me...go figure I found out these 2 love climbing on my adult son & husband as they are quite tall, but they do cuddle on my lap when in the mood. So from having 2 black house cats, a "pawtistic" Siamese to a very bossy hymilayan x, & a couple more rescues inbetween over 40 yrs.
Oh & 2 black labs in the mix at different times...I've had alot of cats in my life & I have loved & love each & everyone of them as they were all unique..
Anyways, from one cat lover to another, thanks again for this cat video!

Always loved Blondies songs, and this was a beautiful parody of her song Heart of Glass, but I think her song called RAPTURE is a perfect song for a cat parody.
I think there is a lot of cat aspects that would fit this song very well. And I'd love to see what your creativeness could do with it.

I really do love your videos. They are so funny and up to a point. My cats, in 35 years, have all been very gentle ones, hardly a scratch even though many of them has been strays and very afraid in the beginning. But all of them have learned very quickly how to spin me around their paws and make me a loyal servant :). And also became very affectionate lapcats. I love your lyrics and your great voice too.
