I've been cleaning guns for 50 plus years. when I saw your nails I thought "REALLY", but I must say this was an excellent video! Thanks, it was perfect.
Oh my goodness! Out of all the cleaning gun videos that were for my gun, this was by far the BEST! So good. Step by step, you did such a great job! Thank you. It helped me so much, being new at this. Definitely saving this one!
Really like the way you take your time and explain step-by-step. I’ve had this gun for a while, always have trouble taking the slide stop out. Your video was by far the most helpful I getting past this!🎉
Thank you! My husband always cleans mine. I'm the one that carries it! I told him I'm doing it today, then I picked your video and cleaned it step by step. Thanks again!
The reassembly tip about depressing the barrel during reassembly solved an issue I struggled with for an hour before looking for help. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so very much for this video. It was had great step by step instructions which allowed me to clean my Sig P238 for the first time. I scanned quite a few videos before I settled on yours. Keep up the good work!!!
Excellent instructional video, thank you! Remarkable in the sense that you did it with nails, which are beautiful by the way. My youngest daughter saw me watching your video and even complemented your nails lol! Great job! 👍🏻
I love the thorough and patient approach you present on this cleaning procedure for the Sig P938. It's really covers all of the small, yet what could be troublesome things that may occur. Especially for a first timer like myself. I look forward to any of your Videos for this reason. As well, you have a very pleasant voice and its easy to follow your speaking pace. Thank You
If I may please compliment you…. Great commentary, great editing, good call on the spring tip and the barrel cleaning tip! I’ve enjoyed your video very much! And anecdotally speaking, you did a phenomenal job with having nails like my wife
Excellent video, very thorough. I'm just curious, do you still have that beauty, how do you like it, did your guide rod ever unscrew, if so did Sig replace it? Thanks for sharing!
The safety lever on my p938 is a little floppy on the right side. Just giggles a little more that I think it should. The left side, which I use since I’m right handed is solid. Thoughts? It seems to work fine, just makes noise if you tap it.
I’ve heard of some common issues with the ambi safety being a bit loose on both the 938 & 238. If it was me, I’d call Sig directly about it or take it to a licensed gun smith. Possibly see about just getting a right sided safety lever and installing that since you don’t need the ambi one. Please come back and share an update! Thank you for watching and good luck!
The field strip of the SIG-229 is the same as the Sig-226. One suggestion is the lock the top slide to the rear as normal. The take down pin can be easily pushed to the vertical position. Unlock the slide and the slide can be removed. The Sig-239 breaks down just like the M-1911. The take down pin is inserted and removed through the small notch. The larger notch is a slide lock.
@@tonyrebel63 I will try to log on tonight. Been working on other stuff. I'm going to get better with my other social media stuff. I think that you're going to like what I'm working on when I drop it.
@@TheGunLove Hi good to hear from you. I am sure I will love what you do. you are good like that. I just got through doing 16 hours at our plantation, so this brother going to do the rest thing and be back there tonight lol. You stay safe and keep sharing the Gun Love.
Count on a woman to give a thorough explanation of how to clean a gun. By the way, I bought steel case ammo for my Sig 380 during the pandemic, because it was all that was available. It jammed repeatedly. I have never had a problem with jamming with brass ammo.
Hands down the best video on YT for disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of the P938.

Outstanding video. First time I've seen the tip about pushing the barrel down during reassembly to make sure everything seats. Thanks.

I use this video as reference every time I sit down to clean it, thank you so much for such a great video!!
Thank you! You did a great job describing this so I had no problem cleaning my gun.
Excellent demo of re-installation technique for the take-down pin. In the past I've always taken two or three tries to get it.
Excellent demonstration. Helped me slot with my P238.

Hey Thank you!!
Will this cleaning method work with my 229?
Pretty much, (minus that tricky ejector) put I’m editing the P229 video now and it will be up in a few days!
