Last week I purchased one of these to replace my petrol 325LDX combi unit I got back in 2005. In case anyone is wondering, all the attachments I purchased back in 2005 are fully compatible with 325iLK. After a day in the garden using the line trimmer, hedger & the pole saw I can honestly say it’s every bit as good as the petrol unit with the added advantage of being really quiet.
Finally, a comprehensive review of the Husqvarna 325iLK! By a professional no less. Thank you Kai. I left my job back in December to pursue lawn and garden maintenance full-time. And from the outset, I made the decision to use only battery powered equipment. So far I have favoured Husqvarna’s Battery Series. My initial excitement for the product was dampened however, by Husqvarna starting the product number with a ‘3’ rather than a ‘5’. I wondered, “Would this be well suited to the abuse of commercial use?” Thank you for assisting with my decision. I agree with your point in concerning the backpack batteries. It can at times be a hassle; the added weight, putting them on. I’ll opt for the Bli300 batteries next time around. Cheers!
hey Antonio, thank you for watching mate, and for commenting. Nice move getting into the lawn care business. I love it, being outside in nature all day, you just can't beat it. I also had a few reservations when I saw the numbering but it's all good mate, it performs every bit as good as the 520 trimmer. Enjoy your gardening journey with quiet and efficient tools mate 👍🏻
Recently I switched my equipment from EGO to Husqvarna. Now running the 525iLK and very happy with it, performs way better than my previous EGO PH1400E unit
Hi. Have just subscribed to your channel. It a great site you have here. Very informative, clear to follow and not emotive. I run a lawn/garden business in New Zealand. Have just decided on changing all my two stroke gear to battery. Have had Husqvarna and will stick with Husqvarna. I use Victa mowers, I have 2 of them. Will stick with the fuel mowers as I dont think the battery life is quite there to run a mower all day.
Excellent information and detail, I just bought a 524LK with an edger and line trimmer att. I have a small business, but now seeing the battery model I see many advantages, but I am very impressed with the 524. thankyou for the technical component in your videos
Great review!! Made is easy for me to select the right machine. Bought the 325ilk with the bli300 battery and charger for $1150. Thank you somuch for putting the work in for the video with a detailed explanation. Best of luck with your business. Regards, Ase
Thank you for your review video! This is the first unit I've seen that makes me think of making the switch to battery because I've already got a collection of extensions. It is not an easy to find unit in the USA quite yet.
Hi Chad thanks for stopping by mate. You won’t regret it, especially as you already have the attachments. It’s a great bit of kit. Only just become available here in Australia too. I’m looking forward to getting the other attachments as well 👍🏻
Great video mate, really enjoyed that. I'm based in the UK and recently made the switch to battery which i'm loving. I went for the Stihl line up and happy so far but that Husqvarna combi unit does look very good indeed. All the best and keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for watching mate and for the kind feedback. I did the same as you and started my battery journey off with Stihl gear and then slowly changed over to Husqvarna as time went on. I now run a bit of both but predominantly use Husky tools throughout the business now. So much more enjoyable using battery tools eh? I actually look forward to hedging now lol. 👍🏻
Thanks for the video. I just picked one of these up the other day along with the new extendable hedge trimmer. First jump into the battery scene but happy with both on first impressions. Will be interesting to see how they handle daily use. Keep the videos coming!
Great video, very informative to get a professional opinion based on actual use. I am a home user looking to move from my petrol Stihl combi unit (trimmer and edger) to a cordless battery system but cannot yet justify the change until my Stihl dies. It just won’t now that I’ve been using ethanol-free fuel. I must admit I am biased toward Stihl but as a homeowner I enjoy your videos because I see multiple points of view. Thanks again!
Hey Chris, thanks for your comment mate. You wont look back when you make the switch, especially from the Stihl kombi units which have heaps of vibrations. I personally prefer this new Husqvarna combi trimmer over the Stihl one. I used to be all Stihl petrol tools, then some Stihl battery tools and now I'm mostly Husky everything lol... It's been a fun journey 😁 let me know what you go for.
Very interesting machine.I do think husquvarna has the right idea at the moment when it comes to battery tool putting a simple on off switch seem a no brainer why other brand can't see that and being able to use big or in built battery makes it so much more versatile for us pro gardeners. Great reviews thanks for sharing.
Hey mate, thanks for your comment. I totally agree, I would love the Stihl commercial battery tools if they didn’t force you to use the cord. The handheld HSA94t is the best hedger I’ve ever used but I don’t want to be tethered to a battery all the time. Same goes for the FSA130R, brilliant line trimmer but the inconvenience of having to carry the battery totally put me off it. The kombi tool is the weakest link as the cord actually gets in the way heaps. All amazing tools but I really like having the option of run time and convenience, which Husky gives you. Cheers
I chose Husqvarna for it battery managment system. Beefy chargers and batteries. The mower automatically switches from the low battery to a full battery on the fly. I noticed your trimmer power switch is different that on mine bought in Canada.🇨🇦 Rather than buttons and battery level readout, mine has a three position thumb switch, similar to the blower. Husqvarna needs to update the trimmer line spool system. Thanks for the review!
@@lovelawns Today was the first use. I trimmed wheat and high gras which wrapped and blocked my 325. I guess this is still a wrong handling, maybe I cut just to high. Anyway the performance and handling is great. Also the buttons and trigger are easy and intuitive. I own a Bli20 and Bli300, even with the bli20 I got almost 15min runtime. I just wondering why the orange color of the battery, engine and cutting guard are different 🤔. Maybe I am to much German😅
So I spoke a knowledgeable guy at husky, and he said the 325 is more powerful than the 520,but there's a new model coming out soon to combat that and he also confirmed that the only differance between commercial and the 325 is only the ip water rating that's it,so iam happy with that, the only downside is that attachments are soo damn expensive.
Yeah looking forward to the new model when it arrives, I think it will be similar to the current 535iRXT but have a d handle rather than the bull horn style handlebars. The attachments are pretty pricey hey, solid gear though, will last many many years. Stoked you like it mate 👍🏻
Apologies for cross posting. I want to make sure that US buyers are aware. I just took receipt of a 325iLK in the US. Please note that the user interface controls are quite different for the US market. Instead of the buttons with 3 speeds and battery level indicator, the US model comes with a simple 3 position switch - off, on, and esave mode. I can't compare the two interfaces directly so I can't really comment on which is better. It is certainly simpler and probably fine. I'm just disappointed that I didn't get what I was expecting. Additionally, only by digging into the US user manual do you see this user interface with a description. ALL Husqvarna marketing material regardless of region shows the same user interface with the 2 buttons, battery gauge, and speed. So be aware if you are buying in the US market.
Appriciate that! I was looking at one of these and after seeing your post dug in a little deeper and saw what you are talking about. Kinda sad and upsetting that it looks so much cheaper and not as nice as what he shows.
I've been using tlryobi 18volt ,hedge and pole hedge trimmers for 4 years and the pole saw and by pass lopper. Looking to change into another brand that has a decent whippy option. Thanks for sharing the speed feed option as I was wondering about that as I wasn't a fan of the huski heads. Good vid mate.
Hey mate, thanks for the nice review. I’d love to see a comparison/seperate review with the new Makita DUR369LZ line trimmer. It’s apparently equivalent to 30cc! Brushless, 36v. After days of research, I think it might be the current best offering in Australia for a commercial grade battery powered whipper.
Hi mate, thanks for stopping by. I haven’t tried any of the Makita gear yet but I’ve only heard good stuff about the hedgers. Would be keen to try one of these line trimmers out for sure. If I can get my hands on a demo I’ll definitely do a comparison video. Cheers
Which battery do you use with your 325iLK? Last year, I purchased a Husqvarna 520iHE hedge trimmer (which you helped convince me to buy) with a BLi200X battery. Now I need to replace my very old Stihl gas string trimmer and want to utilize that expensive battery. The 325iLK seems to be a good option for my needs. I really enjoy your videos...very informative with a good format and presentation.
Good vid. Battery has come such a long way and being able to add the speedfeed or other choice of head is a big selling point. If I were to start up again, doing small jobs, I'd certainly consider battery. The initial cost would be a factor for true newbies I guess. Bloody expensive!
Thanks mate. Yeah a lot of the battery tools are good enough now for commercial use and some are even better than the petrol equivalents. Initial cost is always a big factor but in the long run it does pay for itself if used on the right way. Thanks for stopping by 🤙🏻
Great video. Subscribed. I have the Stihl kombi 94-RC unit and want to switch to battery powered, however having the wire to the battery puts me off. This unit looks really good being able to just pick it up and put it down makes a real difference.
Hey Jim, thanks for the sub really appreciate it! It's a great bit of kit mate and like you say not being tethered with the wire makes a big difference. Although Stihl are coming out with a new battery kombi tool soon (depending on where you are in the world) that allows you the option of putting a battery in the tool or having it tethered. If you've already got Stihl attachments for your petrol kombi this might work well... Cheers mate 👍🏻
Here in the U.S. the KMA 135 will be available in 2021. I have demoed it it is a beast. I have a KMA 130, but the 135 has more rpms than the 130. As well as no cord just pop in the battery.
@@josealvarenga9967 Thanks for the info. I spoke to my nearest stihl dealer last week and they said they have ordered some in for February. Can’t wait to give it try
Hey could you help me with some info on the Husqvarna 325iLK Battery Combi Trimmer ? Is it possible to attach a blade to the trimmer attachment instead of a string head ? Or does one need to get a different attachment all together for using a blade for brush cutting with a 325iLK ?
@@lovelawns Thank you very much, I actually have a gas powered brush cutter tool for brush cutting with a blade, but it's from another brand and considerably heavier so if this also works out for that purpose that will be awesome for the occasional times when I may require it and not have to break my back :)
Great usefull review. I'm used to Stihl trimmers with bullhorn. Got this Husqvarna 325ILK as a demo for a week. More than strong enough for the job I do. But I seem to have more difficulties managing this unit than the bullhorn type ones. Is that a learning curve or common? I feel I have to bend over too much to have the trimmer head in the position I want. I tried all sorts of position of the handle. Not so with a bullhorn, where I can manage to keep my back straight (I'm 1.86 meter or 6.1 ft). And although I was not a fan of tethered batteries (on the hip) it's preferable for me because it makes the unit even lighter. Soon a Stihl KMA 130 R combi unit will be at my disposal for a demo. Can't wait to feel the difference. I can manage a runtime of 1h15 minutes with one BLI300 battery. Solely in speedsetting 1.
Hey Karel, thanks for watching mate. Husky and Stihl definitely have a slight difference in terms of trimmer head angles. Have you seen the new bullhorn style battery trimmer from Husky, the 535irxt. That might feel much more familiar to you? It’s a great bit of kit if you prefer the bullhorn style trimmers. Very powerful, great ergonomics and gives you the option of plugging a battery into the unit or carrying it on you, unlike the Stihl which doesn’t have the option. Cheers 👍🏻
@@lovelawns I want to make the switch from bullhorn to loop handle because I've got to many weird angles to work around where a bullhorn is not the best choice. I do maintenance around graves and that involves a loot of corners, edges and very narrow spaces where the trimmer is to be turned in a 90° position to cut the weeds. It's hard to get into those spaces with a bullhorn. A loop handles makes it much easier. Plus, edging is not possible with a bullhorn.
Fair enough. I don't like the bull handle style either, for similar reasons. I'd highly recommend the Husky combi model, having used both. Mostly for the convenience of not being tethered with a cable. Both machines are bloody good though. Let me know how you get on with the KMA 130r. 👍🏻
@@lovelawns Hi again. Used the Stihl KMA130 (loop handle). Does as good a job as the Husqvarna, but I didn't like the power mode button at all. In that case Husqvarna is a lot better. Husqvarna are a little bit bit more long lasting. But same again with ergonomics. I had to bend over to much to work easily. With a bullhorn type I can get the trim head to slide over the grass and have a perfect cut simular to what I get with a mower. But it's like the angle of the head is not in the correct way for me. It's always tilted too much, never flat, unless I bend over a lot. Pitty, but both Husq en Stihl are not suitable for me. Although the Stihl representive said they where working on a head with a different angle...to be continued.
Thanks for the video. I've been researching battery trimmers and this has helped a lot. I see you have the SpeedFeed 450 head on this trimmer. Have you thought about running the smaller SpeedFeed 375 or 400 head? It does hold less line but it allows you to run the line a little longer and it weighs less. The lighter weight may allow you to get a little bit more battery life out of a charge. That very well may be negated by the longer line length. Anyway, keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Hello. A successful clip full of information. I have a question that I don't know if it has been asked by anyone. Can the tools from Stihl combi be used for Husqvarna? Thank you
Good choice buying the 325iLK. Here in Australia the 325 comes with the strum trimmer attachment included. There is only one so it should be easy to find from your local dealer 🤙🏻
Hello. Great presentation. Thanks to you, I just bought the 325ilk. Light and very silent but powerful as you said 👌 Perfect to complete with the 520ihe3 and T540ixp A question : why do you replace the H head 35 for the Speed-feed 450? thanks
Hey Doug, thanks for watching. No but it’s a very light trigger so no problems. I have found others to be too stiff and have the same problem as you but not with the Husqy.
Does the 325ilk come with an extension tube attachment? its a shame if they dont because the 520ihe3 which does have an extension(telescopic) has an annoying handle guard that restricts overhead hedging which i do regularly.
Another question if you don't mind? Im buying a set up for myself and another guy. Would you recommend the combi battery machines or one piece machines? The one piece are alot lighter but the combi is more practical but the wing nut always wears out too quickly and they cost a fortune to replace.
All good mate. If you’re choosing between the 325 and the 520 I’d go with the 325 any day. Much better tool I’m in my opinion, better balanced, better power, normal size head, better ergonomics better handling in use. The only thing the 520 has over it is slightly lighter (which you don’t notice in use) and the head can spin both ways which I hardly ever use. 325 all the way mate 🤙🏻
Hey Shane, not sure of the differences other than it’s straight. I prefer the straight shaft personally but couldn’t get it here at the time of purchasing so had to go with curvy edger. It works well so far 👍🏻
Hi there great video can't really comment as I'm still petrol using stihl. Looking to go battery doing lots of research and finding husqvarna are better made I feel, would it be cheaper to buy complete units rather than multi tools thanks Russell.
Hi mate, thanks for stopping by. All the Husky battery tools are good to be honest. It’s not really a matter of cheaper as it’s all works outs similar in the long run with batteries etc, I’d just get whatever suits your business best. Cheers 👍🏻
I want to buy one..but i need the head changed to a speed feed 450 head.. can you point me in the right direction where you got the adaptor plates so it fits properly?
Hey Dom, you don’t need any adapter plates for this model. Just buy the genuine speed feed head and screw it on using the brass coloured bolt. Job done. Cheers 👍🏻
You can get them from loads of places mate. Try local dealer or All mower spares. www.allmowerspares.com.au/shindaiwa-large-speed-feed-450-head-universal-lh-with-arbours-28820-08000-28820-08001.html
@@lovelawns thanks so much..ended up buying the 325ilk...with the x series battery...what a power horse this machine is. Looking at buying the edger and pole saw attachment as well. What is the make and model number of the blades that are used in those edgers?
Nice work mate. It’s a great bit of kit hey. The attachments are the standard petrol combi attachments so just grab them from you local dealer, they will know the part numbers etc. cheers mate, enjoy the Husky battery experience 🙂👍🏻
Hey Josh, thanks mate. I’ve just got the snippy and the edger attachment. Haven’t tried the saw or hedger in it as I have the dedicated tools. It works well with the two I have tho 👍🏻
@@lovelawns I didn't get notified about the reply... So only just seen! Anyway thanks for the reply. It does look like a very capabl machine.. basically I've invested in the Ego stuff and while I do really like the tools I'm having a ton of problems with batteries and chargers... It's a really shame TBH.
Hi , What is your opinion of the Stihl RMA 510 V compared to the husky self propelled for a homeowner , I am leaning towards the Stihl as I have a Husky SP petrol and it wouldnt self propel without having to get it modified and is very heavy , cheers
Hi mate, the Stihl 510 is a better mower than the Husky. More powerful motor with a slightly wider cut capacity. The Husky is still a decent battery mower but the Stihl one comes out on top from my testing. Cheers 👍🏻
Hi, Thanks for this comparison and honest review. I have bought the 325ilk and now have to decide with which battery I want to start my battery journey. :-) Either the Bli 200 or 300. Which one would you recommend given that I am using it mainly on my private property for trimming and sometime cleaning the paving stones and twice in a year my hedge. I also want to use a blower in the near future but as a separate machine because O do think it is not that convenient with this long attachment for the 325. So eventually based on my research I would think the BLi 200 is a good choice due to the little weight compared to the 300. Furthermore I do not need the QC500 and can go for the QC330 as the loading time is equal once you are using the Bli 200. Your suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
Hi mate, thanks for watching. Personally, I'd recommend the bli300 for the 325 and the blower and then get the QC330 charger if you don't need the faster charge time, which it sounds like you won't. I only really recommend the smaller bli200 for the hedgers and saws. Cheers
Hey mate, I get mine from my local Husqvarna dealership, Ashmore Mowers. They have the genuine Shindiawa ones which I use. They do ship but you can find them online too. Just make sure they are the genuine ones! Cheers
Does anyone know if this typically comes with a battery and charger when you buy it? Everywhere I look seems to have very limited information on whether it is or not, and what the power draw of the motor is.
Hi Nick, its normally sold as a skin without battery or charger, at least it is here in Australia. It’s a 36v tool, not sure if that’s what you meant about the power draw of the motor..? Cheers.
Hey Tim, I think the hedgers are probably the best battery tool out of all of them. Great run times, no noise, no fumes, very little vibrations and they still cut 95% of everything my petrol units do. Can’t go wrong with them really mate. Cheers
How does this compare to the Husqvarna 520ILX (536LiLX)? I need a trimmer, but already have the dedicated pole saw and pole hedge trimmer, so wondering whether to go for this or the lighter weight 520ILX.
This is much better than the 520, more power, better ergonomics, able to change attachments, normal size head, better balance with motor up the top and not in the head end. The list goes on 👍🏻
Hey Scott, I’d say you’d want at least 2 Bli300 batteries for the 325ilk, probably 3 to be on the safe side if your can’t charge one. You’d want 3 or 4 Bli200 batteries for the hedgers. This all depends on what your trimming mind and if you’ve actually got your finger on the trigger for the whole time? Cheers
Nice video and a great review. It made my choice a lot easier between 325ilk and 520ilx models. I get my 325ilk next week. 🙂 I have a question where to buy this Speed feed head you have chosen for your machine? I live in Sweden so I have had a hard time to find it in retail stores. Du you have a link to this item online? Best regards
Hi Johan, thanks for watching mate. Good choice, you’ll love it. I buy the speed feed heads from my local mower shop but you can buy them via eBay or amazon if you cant find them locally. Just make sure you buy the genuine speed feed heads, it has SPEEDFEED written on the head across the base, this is the one: www.greenacresmowers.com.au/genuine-speed-feed-line-trimmer-head-450-4.5-bump cheers
HEllo...thank you for your reviews they are really helping me decide to invest in Huski battery tools, instead of Stihl. I've always found Huski do think about their ergonomics and how they are in use more than anyone else. They make the best harnesses for example. Question please ! Do you have and can you recommend the hedge trimmer attachment for this combi unit ?
Hey Max, thanks for watching. Stoked my videos have helped you out 👍🏻 yes the hedge trimmer attachment is really good. Solid metal gearbox housing very similar to the dedicated pole hedger. Good blade speed, good balance etc etc. I’d recommend getting a few blade tip protectors when you buy it at the same time as it doesn’t come included, as it should..! Cheers mate 🤙🏻
G'day good unbiased review I have the same kombi unit as you and I would like to change the head for the same one as yo did, could you please let me know where you bought it from and what size line you use thank you and kind regards from Tassie John
Hey John, thanks for watching mate. Its a great bit of kit hey! Yeah no worries, it's the 450 Speedfeed head and I run 2.7mm trail blazer commercial round trimmer line. I get mine from Karls Mowers in Burleigh Heads, just down the road from me. You can find them online too: Just be sure its a geuine speedfeed, alot of fake ones about. This is the one: www.greenacresmowers.com.au/genuine-speed-feed-line-trimmer-head-450-4.5-bump Cheers mate 👍🏻
Battery is 1.9kgs and trimmer is 3.8kgs so total 5.7kgs and it’s perfectly balanced so feels lighter than that. Very easy to swing around for long periods. 👍🏻
Great video mate. I've just found this link while researching battery gear. I already run the Husky 525rjd & love it. I've had it for about 5 or 6 yrs & it's our main machine, we'd be lost without it. I'm thinking of buying a 2nd unit & I reckon this one looks the goods & will be capable of taking all of my attachments from the 525. How have you found it to date? Still happy with it? Have you tried it with the edger and/or reciprocating blade? These 2 are our most used. One of the comments on here was that there's a newer model on the way, so it's October now do you know when it's due? I'm doubting whether the dealers would tell us that as they'd want to sell their stock on-hand first. Cheers
Hey Darr, thanks for watching mate. The 325 is a great bit of kit. It’s very similar power wise to the petrol 525. Works great with all the attachments. The blade edger struggles a bit sometimes if it’s super overgrown but so would the 525 petrol unit to be honest. Still don’t know when the new stuff is coming. Everything is delayed these days so could be early 2022 now. If you are looking at the 325 I’d grab now. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers mate 👍🏻
@@lovelawns thanks mate, went & bought 1 on Sat morning. We used it today & very impressed. Just used edger & whippy but no noticeable difference at all. Still got 1 bar left on battery charge too. @@darrtoo5767 Nice work Darren, stoked you like it mate, and as you said you can't really go wrong with the Husky gear. Let me know how you go with it after a few weeks of use. cheers mate.
My biggest concern is the cost of replacing my current equipment and does it have the same power! If I went all electric, I'm looking at £10,000 for tools and another £30,000+ for a van!!! Not mention my electric bill!! 😱
There is no doubt that cost is a factor initially and some of the tools still aren’t as powerful such as the backpack blowers. But once you have the tools then it’s savings all the way with no additional fuel costs, oil, filters, spark plugs etc etc. We have solar at home so charging is free. You don’t need a van, we run ours out of trailers and utes, although a van would be ideal I reckon. Only you know your business and if it’s worth doing. For us the benefits far out way any negatives. Cheers 👍🏻
It’s a better design that allows you to use a normal size speed feed head, it’s got a bit more power, feels more like a petrol trimmer in terms of use, better balance, head spins the correct way when you turn it on and obviously you can use all the attachments. The 520 is still very good but this is just a little bit better in all ways in my opinion. 👍🏻
@@lovelawns ok so I just bought this, its great,I do find the straight shaft a little harder to cut lines vs my bent shaft,,but I think practise will sort that thankyou very much.
It is a pretty expensive machine, especially to Makita tools that I use in my small landscape business. But what's even worse is the price of the batteries. Here in EU 5 Ah Makita battery cost around 70 Euros. 5 Ah battery for Husky is closer to 150 Euros. Like you've said, you have to have 3 or 4 of them to last you through the day, and that ends up paying around 600 Euros just for the batteries. I'll stick to my Makita tools.
I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.
*Great trimmer plenty of power easy on fuel 🌴 **allabout.wiki/Husqvarna** and not as heavy as a Honda but has a great Honda engine, wish I would have purchased a long time ago.*

@@lovelawns It sure is pal
Thanks for the video. I just picked one of these up the other day along with the new extendable hedge trimmer. First jump into the battery scene but happy with both on first impressions. Will be interesting to see how they handle daily use. Keep the videos coming!
Good choice mate. Hope you enjoy them 👍🏻
Great video, very informative to get a professional opinion based on actual use.
Thanks for watching Rick. Yeah I noticed you guys have a slightly different model there. I wonder why that is? Good choice with Going Husky 🤙🏻
I have ordered the husky 325iLK right now. I wanna be happy when even a professional is happy.
Good choice 👍🏻
@@lovelawns Today was the first use. I trimmed wheat and high gras which wrapped and blocked my 325. I guess this is still a wrong handling, maybe I cut just to high. Anyway the performance and handling is great. Also the buttons and trigger are easy and intuitive. I own a Bli20 and Bli300, even with the bli20 I got almost 15min runtime.
I just wondering why the orange color of the battery, engine and cutting guard are different 🤔. Maybe I am to much German😅
Better off with a blade for that sort of stuff. Any trimmer would struggle in that situation. 👍🏻
@@lovelawns Okay, good to know. Thank you.
Good video very informative saw this unit on husqvarna website a few days ago,saw you using it in your last video and looks very impressive,Regards
Thanks mate, yeah it’s a great bit of kit, really impressed. Need to try the other attachments too and will share more feedback then as well.
@@Chburnham But we have been happy with it. So no real complaints in the end.
We’ve been very happy with it too 👍🏻
I've been using tlryobi 18volt ,hedge and pole hedge trimmers for 4 years and the pole saw and by pass lopper. Looking to change into another brand that has a decent whippy option. Thanks for sharing the speed feed option as I was wondering about that as I wasn't a fan of the huski heads.
Good vid mate.
Hi Dan, thanks for watching mate. You won’t go wrong with the Husky gear, big step up from Ryobi 👍🏻 cheers
Nice video mate! Looks like a solid unit
That was quick lol.... Thanks mate yeah really like it eh 👌🏻
Great review mate. I'm getting one, love the Kombi engines and gonna go battery👍
Legend mate..! Enjoy 🤙🏻
Cheers
i realize it's quite off topic but do anyone know of a good site to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Otto Louis Flixportal =)
@Boston Juan Thanks, I signed up and it seems to work :D I appreciate it !!
@Otto Louis glad I could help :D
Thanks for watching mate. I’d go with the bli300 I’m the 325 unless you are just doing a small bit of trimming. 👍🏻
Thanks for the info. If that’s the case I might wait and see what Stihl comes up with. (I’m in the UK)
Here in the U.S. the KMA 135 will be available in 2021. I have demoed it it is a beast. I have a KMA 130, but the 135 has more rpms than the 130. As well as no cord just pop in the battery.
Sounds perfect 👌🏻
@@josealvarenga9967 Thanks for the info. I spoke to my nearest stihl dealer last week and they said they have ordered some in for February. Can’t wait to give it try
would love to see Stihl also do update on there KMA130r and let the user choose for a internal or external battery. no cord is so much more convenient
They are and it will be out next year 👍🏻
Hey could you help me with some info on the Husqvarna 325iLK Battery Combi Trimmer ? Is it possible to attach a blade to the trimmer attachment instead of a string head ? Or does one need to get a different attachment all together for using a blade for brush cutting with a 325iLK ?
Yes you can attach the blade with the right fitting kit. best to speak to your local dealer to find parts etc. Thanks for watching.
That’s a shame mate. Hope you find one that works for you soon. Cheers.
Thanks mate, yeah I don’t like the smaller heads. I much prefer the 450 size. 🤙🏻
how's it do compared to m18?
Don’t know I’ve never tried the Milwaukee unit.
Hello. A successful clip full of information. I have a question that I don't know if it has been asked by anyone. Can the tools from Stihl combi be used for Husqvarna? Thank you
Hi, just answered this in your other comment. They aren’t compatible. Cheers
I just got 325ilk power head only I'm looking for string trimmer attachment but not sure which model does use
Good choice buying the 325iLK. Here in Australia the 325 comes with the strum trimmer attachment included. There is only one so it should be easy to find from your local dealer 🤙🏻
Hello. Great presentation.
Thanks to you, I just bought the 325ilk. Light and very silent but powerful as you said 👌
Perfect to complete with the 520ihe3 and T540ixp
A question : why do you replace the H head 35 for the Speed-feed 450?
thanks
Hey, thanks for watching. Stoked it's working for you. I just prefer the speedfeed style heads. 👍🏻
notice in the back you have the stihl hsa94 are they any good.
Yeah it’s a brilliant hedger just the cable coming out the back gets in the way all the time.
Can you lock the trigger?
I have Snapper 82v that does not lock the trigger. My fingers are getting cramped.
Yeah it’s does mate. You can use all the same attachments that are available for the petrol Combi. It’s a separate purchase though.
@@lovelawns awesome, cheers mate
325 all the way mate 🤙🏻

the straight shaft edger looks stronger at the bottom and is higher priced do you know difference?
Hey Shane, not sure of the differences other than it’s straight. I prefer the straight shaft personally but couldn’t get it here at the time of purchasing so had to go with curvy edger. It works well so far 👍🏻
Can you use the gas powered combi add ons on the electric?
Yes you can. They all fit 👍🏻
Hi there great video can't really comment as I'm still petrol using stihl. Looking to go battery doing lots of research and finding husqvarna are better made I feel, would it be cheaper to buy complete units rather than multi tools thanks Russell.

Addition: The price is not a deal, I just want to make the right decision.
Hi mate, thanks for watching. Personally, I'd recommend the bli300 for the 325 and the blower and then get the QC330 charger if you don't need the faster charge time, which it sounds like you won't. I only really recommend the smaller bli200 for the hedgers and saws. Cheers
Hey mate, just wondering what brand speedfeed head you are running, also where would I be able to buy one in Aus, cheers

Cheers.
Always used kombi petrol.but I've just bought a sthil long reach hedge cutter. What are your thoughts on battery hedge cutting units pal.
The list goes on 👍🏻
Thanks, I will go for this one then.
Good choice 👍🏻
Let me know what you think of it when you get it mate 🤙🏻
Great review thanks !
Cheers Gary 🤙🏻
Hi mate, just wondering what would your battery set up be for a day using the 325 for an or or two and the battery hedge trimmers for 3 or 4 hours?
Hey Scott, I’d say you’d want at least 2 Bli300 batteries for the 325ilk, probably 3 to be on the safe side if your can’t charge one. You’d want 3 or 4 Bli200 batteries for the hedgers. This all depends on what your trimming mind and if you’ve actually got your finger on the trigger for the whole time? Cheers
Nice video and a great review. It made my choice a lot easier between 325ilk and 520ilx models.
I get my 325ilk next week. 🙂

Hey Max, thanks for watching. Stoked my videos have helped you out 👍🏻 yes the hedge trimmer attachment is really good. Solid metal gearbox housing very similar to the dedicated pole hedger. What is the weight of this trimmer with battery installed?

No this one just spins anti clockwise mate.
Pls do the combo compare vid.
I'm working on it. I don't have the Ego anymore so just trying to piece together the footage I do have. Watch this space 🙂
Cheers 👍🏻
So should I buy this or the 520?
Totally up to you. But I’d buy the 325ilk 👍🏻 better machine in my opinion
@@lovelawns other than the attachment option, why is the 325 better? Cheers.

325 👍🏻
Can t find a opinion, cause the grass was cut before everywhere. What i here see is a line digged into the grass next to the way..
It's a good trimmer. Done 👍🏻
I think you get what you pay for mate. Nothing wrong with Makita either, if it's working for you 👍🏻 cheers for watching.
Your a trimming god!
Haha thanks mate 👍🏻 I get plenty of practice lol
Great video
Thanks mate 👍🏻
How much is each battery
Depends where you are in the world and what size you get. Check out your local Husqvarna website for prices. Cheers
this vs makita 36v great comparison
I agree 👍🏻
Hi handsome. I would like to know what is like to not have 2part gas Fumes, do your lung and body notice the difference? Explain in detail.
The battery tools are much nicer to use. Yes you notice the difference, particularly with the line trimmer and hedgers.
It’s a great bit of kit. Thanks
Good
536 vs this one,
This one ☝️
*Great trimmer plenty of power easy on fuel 🌴 **allabout.wiki/Husqvarna** and not as heavy as a Honda but has a great Honda engine, wish I would have purchased a long time ago.*
It’s a great bit of kit mate. Stoked you are enjoying it too 🤙🏻
