Great boat! Skeeter's are great quality. Why didn't you get the same brand finders do you can network and use your Raptors to boot. Just curious.
Hummingbird at bow was done by dealership at time of purchase, Lowrance was done way after the fact.
Im still rockin the twin Helix 5’s and MK edge TM. Actually the edge TM is in for waranty work right now, hope to get it back next week. I wish i could upgrade the electronics and TM but im disabled and dont have the extra money, im just lucky to have what i have and able to walk and fish again.
Im about to replace the stock cranking battery, having some charging issues with that after 11 months of usage, dealer installed Pro-Guide batts and this is the first time I’ve had battery issues, Im trying to figure out whats the best AGM in a group 27.

@@steezyboiiii808 well my MK Edge TM took a dump and i took it in for waranty repair. It took 8-9 weeks for repair and i couldn’t wait to get it back so i bought a MK Fortrex 80 US2 and so far the internal transducer was better than the puck transducer on the MK Edge. So i got a small upgrade on the trolling motor LOL!

@@steezyboiiii808 thank you buddy! Just a little at a time, thats all i can do with my disability income LOL! I got everything fixed on my boat and then last Saturday i got in late and i forgot to unhook the break safety cable and pulled it clean out of the brake actuator. Now i dont know it i should try and replace or just leave as is LOL

Whats the diffrence between this and the zx190 im looking at a loaded out 2019 zx190 with the 150 on it is there any difference between these two boats?
Its the same boat. Skeeter changed the name. They’re both 18.5-19 foot long, 150hp. It used to be the ZX150 back in the day, and they brought the name back.

@@steezyboiiii808 They’re all “waterproof” they have a lip and overlapping lids and stuff. Ive never had water issues, even in thunderstorms

What pitch prop are you running with that set up
Stock. Never had to look into anything or change anything, it runs great, hops right up on plane, good top speed.

What issues did you have with the gel coat?
Had a crack on the sponson, and 2 large chips on the pad after the first time out. Since then? nothing. And we were easy on it this first time out
Did skeeter fix it and fix it right?
The reason I ask is because I too have a brand new 2022 skeeter zx150 and I have some bubbles on the sponson on the driver side. Just curious if they will fix it right and do it under warranty. I have not even had it on the water yet
@@jameskrone9629 Dude me too! It cracked on that bubble. I have some clear epoxy on there right now to get me through the season.

Man. Skeeter definitely cut cost with the z series. No frills no options and only the colors they say you can have…. Im out. Hoping the Kilgore boys come back to their senses.
