It is amazing how after twenty years,this phenomenal groups still stands the test of time in music! As a woman who enjoyed them in her early 20's and now two decades later as a returning student getting ready for finals, can still enjoy Tears for Fears and be motivated, speaks volumes!...Wow, i so enjoyed this music break and wish i could see them live again:)

it's amazing what music can do for your spirit-I left home for work at 5:50, feeling tired and gloomy-heard "EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD" on the radio and immediately perked up, smiling, singing along and then found this concert on youtube...all I can say is WOW !!-would pay good money to see TEARS FOR FEARS live today...
This band would have fit right in with all the 60's and 70's Classic Rock acts...they were one of the best things of the 80's...along with U2...Peter Gabriel...The Talking Heads...and a few others....keep sowing the seeds

I can't get enough of that trumpet solo at 3:10! It reminds me of that one Overture song. I'm trying to get my range to mimick this awesome solo on my trumpet! Good job!
I heard of the name of this group back some 25 years ago. I did not make the connection that they were the ones singing Everybody Rules the World. Thanks to you Tube I also have learned some other songs that I liked back in the 80's that belonged to them. I don't remember hearing it back then even though it was made in 1989. But I heard it on you tube and I loved it. I bought a download of it and put it on a CD. I have been playing ever since. It sounds good. Roland has a great voice.
