Poor country this is Pakistan which makes all sorts of things from fighter jets to automobiles and a host of industrial products textiles cement steel ceramics etc; etc; however this cottage industry helps recycle plastic waste into twine used in various industry and otherwise. There is a fire burning for you, if you can get to it. A gallery in Hell waits for no opening. Justice interesting to our King as water mud and fire, a tray turntable.
I think they use the word 'amazing' in most or all of their videos. Some require more actual skill than others. I agree this one not so much. But I did find myself wondering how difficult it was for the initial set up. Figuring out how much flame to use in the various places to keep it pliable but not burn it. And to a lesser degree also the water used for cooling.
These guys should patent this process, manufacture some machines and sell them to the countries that create this plastic rubbish… they’ll make millions and be rich..😏
You know that people in the richer countries who generate this waste won't do this job. :( Plus, with all of those open gears and open flames, OSHA would shut the factory down before they even got started.
process is interesting but as usual the health /safety aspects are cringe worthy. Even the initial feed auger for the raw stuff going in could be made safer by building a small hopper around the auger opening. I see they push with their palm to avoid putting fingers in the auger but why not a hopper and some sort of push stick / plunger so you are only pushing on the material and the hand never needs to be close to the auger?
I am the same way when I see these. Often it wouldn't take long or use much material to make a few things safer. Also I am always concerned about their lungs, eyes, and hearing as there is never any protection. It would be nice if these RUclips channels used some of their revenue to help or had a way to donate.
@@foxykins The lungs are probably some of the saddest stories that don't get told. If they don't understand safety issues and get an external injury they know it due to obvious. But I can't help but wonder how many of these folks end up with some sort of lung disease down the road that they didn't realize was happening until it was too late. I have a friend (quite old now) who has been slowly dying for years from working in asbestos when younger. It's in the USA but back before they realized how bad it was. He's not dead yet (pretty close) but his life has been miserable for many years due to barely being able to get enough oxygen to stay alive.
@@davidbwa I'm so sorry to hear. I honestly think that if we can trace our beef back to make sure the cows were grass-fed and coffee to make sure its fair-trade, we should be able to trace the manufacturing back to make sure all of the workers have safety equipment. It even sounds like a good selling point, like "all natural" or "locally sourced."
@@foxykins Like a safety version of the fair trade thing. Not sure what you'd call it but something that in addition to getting fair pay they also get to avoid dying way early. . With some of these folks I wonder if the problem is more about ignorance than greed. I'm not saying that to be mean. But I mean you see some of them with earbuds / music and such so presumably they could afford something like a very basic pair of safety glasses or hearing protection.
@@davidbwa I think to a degree there might be ignorance. I mean, I'm ignorant of a lot of regulations, for example. In a perfect world the employer would tell them they need to use protection, but obviously that's not likely to happen. I always wonder where this footage comes from. I don't think these channels are going from shop to shop and recording it themselves.
Omg .....the extruder that you are using is way out of date......I think you should visit my factory where I do the same thing by recycling plastic into plastic twine .....and bottles are recycled as polyester threads used ...
From breathing in fumes from the plastic melting, to microplastic particles that are airborne, to the fumes from what ever is their heat source I think these men are going to suffer respiratory problems.

Очень хорошая проделанная работа по переработке циллофана в какую то коричневую ленту. Остаётся только узнать, а зачем эта лента нужна?
Перевязочная лента для упаковки
Чтобы переплавить в зеленую

I wonder how many blokes are wandering around Lahore with only one hand just from this one shop.
How casually they feed that auger, without even looking at something that could tear off an arm.
