@@fishingcountrylifewithtommyjoe i know where your coming from mate ive seen mates lose good fish too thats why i stayed well away but using them on the tope had me thinking and curious so ive been trying them and touch wood so far so good. Could possibly be that the hooks im using are 3/0 and the baits are slightly smaller than i normally use so wether thats helping by the fish taking the bait in easier and then the circle hook turning into the corner of the mouth i dont know but im still using pulley rigs with the pennel hooks for my bigger ray baits 👍
@OverSheGoes definitely can see where the advantages are and I absolutely love them for ray fishing. I've lost 2 tope on them this year 😪 and they don't work for Huss I've dropped some really nice huss on the dongle but it's a bit of a go to for the rays
